They said they had a 2.4 liter for my customer's truck. Paid them in full on Friday, gave them until Monday to deliver. It's Wednesday and still no engine. Just being stuck on hold for 30 mins to hear a story. Now, we look like idiots to our customers. And they have our money so they don't care.
Called in advance about a particular part and they had it. Took a little while for them to retrieve the part I needed but I didn't mind waiting as the part I needed was in good condition. I recommend bringing cash as they do charge a service fee for using card. Will go back if I need additional parts.
I found a bumper that was scratched up but the paint code matched. The hood had too much damage so I didn't buy that. I used Car-Part.com to find this place.
They advertise one price on the internet and try to scr** you with a different price when you call, then claim they can ask the manager for a lower price!! What ae you nuts, guess they have never heard of false advertising. Very shady place . Zero stars if I could.
Not real happy with this place. My friend requested specific direction be followed on pulling a part. This did not occur costing much more time to do the repair than was needed. I would highly recommend using another used parts yard.
Waited for over one hour, when I asked the salesman, he said waiting on the guy who is getting your order… They have several guys on the sales floor, mostly on their personal cellphone..They are not friendly and don’t care how long I waited, it was not a busy day As per a woman, they need female employees!
It is weird when they told you prices on the fone make sure that you price it looks like old school game going on there be careful and just make sure if they have pictures present pictures if not just find out some where first and good luck
If i coukd give the company a "0" I most definitely would. I paid $1669.00 for a transmission that was broken when I received it Martin suggested a senor that i would have to pay mote money that would fix the burning and grinding of the transmission which was not true same problem of the transmission I was trying to get replaced. I have been going back and forth with them for months about it I even agreed to send them the part back and refund me my money but that is a problem as well because the sent me a damaged part that they don't want back.This has been a complete disaster that they are scammers abd trying to take money from me that I worked hard for U will be reporting to them to the better business burea and obtaining a lawyer if needed .
Called for engine quote, was told they have it, removed from 81k mile car, provided quote $1390 free shipping. Had to get customer approval, they call me 3 times, send me 2 text message with $1390 & free shipping, Acura 3.2L. Next morning get approval, call to order..."Oh wrong quote sir" best price $1950 plus $300 shipping to Dallas"...I'm like, No, you sent me two text messages saying same thing, Acura 3.2L (VIN 9 in 8th position), 81k miles, $1390 Free Shipping. Am I supposed to call customer now and say oh sorry, $900 more? Or eat $900 on my side because you lied? Seems the reviews are all spot on, bad business practices, dishonest.
Bought Ford 4.0L motor good price for my sports Trac truck that the motor cracked after first the big freeze. They delivered it to the shop to be replaced within two days. On time when they told me.
They are SCAM, do not buy from them , bought axcel from them and paid to ship it also ,when I received it ..it's for another car ,, I asked (Al..x) many times to make sure it's the right one , but he lied
Poor service. Called yesterday and spoke to a guy named Tony. Was told they had the parts and that they would pull and hold. Asked if we needed to pay now or when we got there. They said when we get there. They sold them from underneath us. I do not recommend them
Told them what I needed and waited for a hour. Guy asked me again what part I needed after sitting for a hour cause he forgot to tell someone. Told him I’m leaving cause I waited over a hour and he said “that’s not true it’s only been 15 minutes”. Literally looked at my call log to see when I called my employee before I got there to verify the time I arrived. Waste of time and unprofessional. Went to Gold dust and they got me in and out in 30 minutes!
Called ahead of time to make sure they had a part. They told me yes we have that. I came all the way from the woodlands to Pasadena. Wait 30 minutes inside for a person to escort me to the car. Just to go in the back finally and be told “they crushed the car”. Why isn’t it put into the system that it was crushed. Terribly ran, whole bunch of people fiddling their thumbs doing nothing. Honestly worst junkyard/auto salvage/auto parts experience with these idiots.
Unprofessional employees, went at 5:20 asking for a $10 part and the employee asked me to wait for someone to take me to get the part. Other people got there and because their parts were more expensive they got helped. At 6 the guy told me that they are now closed and could not help me, please come back tomorrow. Would never recommend anyone to shop here.
I had called to see if they had a part and they said they had it, but there was miscommunication on my part because I wasn't too sure what i was asking. But George quickly helped me get the right part that I needed! It didn't take no longer that 20 minutes. I was in and out of there. He was super nice and attentive, he even told me to call ahead if there was an issue with the part so he can get another one ready for me. Tye prices were also very reasonable! 10 outta 10 recommend!
I called ahead to inquire about availability for the part I needed. I received the total when told the part is available and I stated that I was on my way. Though the part wasn't waiting for me an hour after I called, I don't expect it should be. The first part brought up was the wrong side, but 15 minutes later the correct part came up and it was the best price of all the dozen places I called trying to locate the part.
I am not undermining other reviews about this place, I just know that I had a good experience! I will use this place again.
I won't even give them 1 star Don't do business with these guys they lie and tell you a price and then change there mind on it and then say it 5 times as much. I can buy two new one from ford what they wanted. never answers phone and never answers email.
Dishonest and unreliable parts quality! I typically don’t write reviews online, because I simply know things happen sometimes as a result of my experience in the automobile repair industry for over 20 years. But I have had an unpleasant and horrible experience with Michael from this company in regards to a large order we placed for one of our trucks in our shop. I’ve been dealing with Michael the entire time, and I can tell you from my experience the lies just keep coming from him. We ordered parts back in early February, received them late February. Some parts were missing, Some parts were broken and some parts were just wrong.. Contacted Michael and he assured me they would send the replacement parts right away. After several calls a week and a half later, trying to get a tracking number I kept getting the runaround and never got a tracking number. It was supposed to be three different shipments to us to replace the damaged and missing parts. At one point he said he personally dropped off the parts at UPS, another conversations a week later he said That he never goes to UPS they come to pick up at their store. Several times told me he couldn’t get a tracking number from UPS and they couldn’t locate it, another time He said their system at their store was down and he couldn’t get me the tracking number. His conversation and excuses kept changing From UPS not getting back to them to his secretary not in or short staff and their system is down. Pretty similar to so many excuses i see he gave other customers unsatisfied with their service or parts.
I would suggest to future customers if you don't want to loose your money, waste your time and avoid frustrations to avoid at all cost using this company (Atlas Foreign Auto Parts in Pasadena TX)! This was my experience with them!!
We honestly did not expect to receive such horrible customer service to the point of seriously considering involving a lawyer to at least get our money back. We have been e-mailing back and forth for 3 months trying to get an update or response from not just 1 but 5 contacts at Atlas Foreign Auto Parts for an engine that was defective. The last correspondence that we received on October 7th, 2022 and haven't received anything since. Even then the correspondence has been spotty and very vague. Calling the shop sends us to a busy tone every time as well. Now we have an extremely upset client and may face problems ourselves due to the negligent and unprofessional attitudes from this shop. We just wanted a response and even that is too much for them. Highly recommend to seek help somewhere else and not use this shop for anything. Also recommend seeking a lawyer in case you have to use legal action to get some bit of customer service and/or money back.
Found parts through car-part.com and was told shipping wouldn't be a problem. Filled out the forms and got everything paid for and waited a week. Called and was told it would be shipped out that day...it never happened. Called again a week later and asked for a refund and was told that wouldn't be a problem and they would take care of it by the next day...it never happened. Ended up having to dispute the transaction with my credit card company to get my money back. Would rate 0 stars but they were always polite when I called so that was a plus but having to fight for a refund for parts I never received is definitely 0 star territory.
I don't know why this place has so many bad reviews. They must have gone on the wrong day of the week or something. They treated me fine. I went on a Saturday morning and got the part I was looking for to fix my brother's car. I returned a second time later in the day and got a connection I needed. They didn't even charge me the second time. The guys who pull the parts are nice and work hard to pull the parts you need. I suggest you give them a tip.
I've been using them for years with great results. Only ever had one issue with a part not working and they took care of me. The wait here can be long, prices are good, people's attitude is ok until someone needs an exchange or refund and then they are not so nice. In the end tho, still going back but having and testable parts immediately tested before purchase
Do not waste your time. After calling ahead and having an advertised part placed at "will call" we arrived later in the day and spoke with the same person, Fernando, who had supposedly pulled the part already. Just to clarify, we were willing to pay the advertised price and did not haggle the price. He stated it just needed to be grabbed from the shelf. After waiting 20 minutes they were still unable to provide the part. There was no line or back up at the counter and numerous employees were present. When we spoke with Fernando again he told us that he could not grab the part himself (although he was playing on his phone and sitting behind the counter). He then said that we would have to keep waiting maybe another 10 minutes. In today's world time is money. We ended up leaving without the part due to the poor service and complete laziness of their staff.
(The only reason I'm giving them one star is because Google won't let me post the complaint without doing so.) This company does not honor there customers. I went to purchase an ABS pump for almost $600 for a 4runner but they gave me the wrong part. They gave me the part for a 2001 4runner. Since they didn't give me the correct part the first time and didn't tell me that, there was no need for me to trust that they would give me the correct part the second time. When I called to explain the first time the person I Spoke with simply said "well 'they' don't give you your money back." The second person I spoke to said "well this may not be the correct part but we now have another one we can give you". I said no I want my money back. I had my 3 mechanics, who've been working on trucks for 40 years call and explain but they didn't even answer the phone for him. They just let the phone rind and then once they answered they didn't let him explain and simply told him "that's being taken care of right now." He said "well we don't do that." I can understand if I simply changed my mind. But they gave me the wrong part. PERIOD. I should be able to give my money back instead of store credit. They are more willing to hold on to that $600 one time rather than have a customer for life who could spend much much more money than that over the long term.
