"Terrible experience at Gold Dust auto part…I went there looking for a specific part for my old truck, but the staff was completely unhelpful. They seemed more interested in chatting with each other than assisting customers.
Oh my, was this the best experience you could ever have!! I called and priced a part at 75$ and when I got there I was given blessed to get it for 70$ They were super fast on top of that. Really nice people with wonderful service! I'm definitely going back if I ever need anything else.
Went in for an aftermarket AC part for my 2012 Toyota and the employees were helpful and understanding. Got in and out within 30 minutes as the AC is running good before summer starts.
Tried selling my junker to them after they told me they buy crap cars, and when I told him it was a 2000 Toyota Camry, he said he couldn't give me much money for it. I told him "I don't really care about the amount, I just want the car gone so I can go to the dealership with my tax return and whatever you give me, so I can get a reliable vehicle). He told me "sorry, someone else can probably give you more money for it, we dont need it" so fine bruh. Last time I'm a customer at gold dust auto. Where do you think I was buying all of my parts for this car the entire time I've had it. Gee I don't know, maybe the closest scrap yard to my house. Terrible business practice. Whoever was on that phone does not need to be on it. Didn't even answer the phone correctly, just said "hello"
best prices in houston! Almost no wait time for part. Martin and Mike served us great service helped with questions on replacement that made our day easier. Recommended for all to experience fast service, knowledge and great price. Thanks again.
Came in to get a power steering pump for my 2003 Toyota Highlander and all the guys were real helpful. Martin was very helpful and we had noticed a sensor had broke off on the power steering pump and helped us inspect it and tighten it back up. 5 stars to these guys. I also understand what it's like to need good reviews and good reviews bring better business. Thank you.
Poor service, had me wait an hour before he said he wouldn't be able to complete before their work day was over.
Kept saying the pullers are working on it, when all the workers were coming in 15 min early to leave and clock out.
I called the next day they opened, he said I remember you. They're working on it. I went into store an hour later and he said the same thing.
I then asked how long does something like that usually take. He then said, you don't have to wait. You can go elsewhere.
I had never been, I will never go back.

Worst auto parts store I've ever been to. I called Tuesday to see if that had a part and they did so I went Wednesday and after about an hour of waiting they gave me the wrong part, but they closed in 5 minutes so I had to come back today (Thursday) so they could swap for the right one. They made me wait an hour and the unreasonably large guy at the front said they didn't have it and had to refund me. All of the other parts stores were closed before he decided to let me know they didn't have it. This place sucks, the man was answering phones and helping them before he was helping the people standing right in front of him. Do not go here.
Awesome place , they had what we spent an hour calling around everywhere else to find. Friendly staff, funny too, they fed us and entertained us the whole time 😂♥️ 10/10 also check out the photo from a previous customer
MIKE RIPPED ME OFF on this floor shifter and won’t give me a refund / store credit.
I called and asked if they have a floor shifter that came out of a 2004 I specifically said 2004. The A-hole told me “yes we have one that came out of a 2004.” I asked again in person he says “yes it’s 2004”
Well not only is this from a 2007 but beyond damaged by the “mechanic” that takes off the parts. How can someone who deals with money in the front not know his numbers.
Also stop hiring people who didn’t go/finish trade school to take parts out

I purchased my Mini Cooper motor from gold dust. They were quick to help and set up freight for me to ship it to WA. There was an unforeseeable slight issue with the motor, but once I talked to the guys at gold dust we were able to come to a fair agreement and they took care of me. I would definitely do business with confidence with them again.
