Came in just to see how it was since it close by. Lady in the front desk messed up my ticket and even admitted she messed up. When I cashed it I was thinking she fixed the issue but looked at the ticket after I cashed it and seen she was short 13 pounds on my copper. I told her about it and she had another person come in then they say the scale was off. Yeah it wasn't a lot to get back what they owed but have the decency to admit you messed up.
Started here in houston strong. But didn't last long. Thier prices went down and so did customer service. Not everyone went down hill. They have several people working inside and no one wants to.make any of the decisions. Just an example of what I mean by went down hill. They used to get ya in and out. Without a problem but here lately they want everything to go across the larger scale. I went in with a few aluminum lights and they wanted me to take it over the big scale. I feel that's a rip off. The big scale only
Weighs in 20 pounds.So if weighs 27 pounds it shows only 20. You lose 7 pounds which is approximately $3.50. I had a lot of aluminum so I didn't wanna get "ripped off" I wanted it weighed inside. But they didn't want to weigh it inside .I'm just fed up and gonna find a better place where the customer is most important. They need to be reminded that the customer is how they get a paycheck. They should keep them happy and not be so darn lazy.
I just want to add that when they had the original guys in there and didn't have so many it was alot better. No problems. And the ladies on the outside scale and in the office are really awesome. Friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work ladies.
Very clean space. First time here and I really appreciated Victor for greeting us and inviting us out for the holiday festivities!!! All the rest of the staff were friendly and very helpful … except the cashier … Overall I definitely recommend!
Customers beware. The guy at the warehouse scale stepped on the scale when zeroing so that the metal would appear to weigh less. Not much money lost overall but still... really shady thing to pull.
This is my new scrap metal recycling place! They were fast and efficient and super nice. Big open area to dump out your scrap. I loved how clean the entire facility was, both outside and the office inside. I haven't had an experience this good at a scrap metal place in a LONG time. I will be back!
For sure I am driving the extra 10 miles today to go for my first time. I have never seen reviews for a scrap yard even close to this! I can totally get behind a business that still remembers the people it's connected to. We make money to live and we give back to live with ourselves.

Wasted my time going to this place. Not even worthwhile writing a review. They put a girl on the phone that tells you one price they'll pay you for your recycled items. When you get there they tell you it was all a bad miscommunication. Lol..
Yard was very clean and the employees were nice and very helpful as this was my first time here. There was a misunderstanding as the lady at the scale asked if this was my first time I thought she said here and I said yes so she said you will receive a check the first time which was okay. Then after I dropped off all my scrap I was at the office window and the cashier was writing me a check and I read that if you had a card from another scrap yard you could get cash. She able to verify with her manager to void the check and let me get cash. After payout I was in my truck writing this review and the cashier knocked on my truck window and handed me my driver's license. This yard pays top scrap price and they are friendly and helpful. Plus they have a food bank twice a month. I will be back and tell all my friends too
i become a fan because of their hospitality, its a nice awesome place to convert your junk into cash, Great owner and great staff, I will come again to sell my old school bus next month around mid April.
What a great bunch of people at this facility. I brought in and old 1964 chevy truck to scrap and these guys were super friendly and understanding to my lack of knowledge on finding the VIN - which was not too easy on this old truck. The whole team ended up staying late to help us out. The payout was greater than expected. highly recommend this scrap yard for all your recycling needs !!!
The guys at the scales are friendly & knowledgeable. They are quick & efficient with their job, so if there happens to be a line, it allows moves at a nice steady pace. After you get your stuff weighed & sorted out, you go up to the front to get your money. The staff up front is also friendly, & they provide snacks, coffee, & cold water. They keep it clean & organized in the recycle yard & office. Top dollar for your scrap!Always a pleasure doing business with y'all!

FINALLY A SCRAP METAL RECYCLING PLACE OPEN ON SUNDAY!! My husband and I found this Hidden treasure and we couldn't be more pleased... Our first encounter was with Nick who was extremely courteous and informative. The girl working the scales was also very friendly. They got us in and out quickly and without problems. They have very competitive prices and awesome hours. I especially like the fact that the entire yard is covered in concrete that is easily cleaned and maintained so that you don't pop your tires on that yard. That takes extra thought about the customer if you ask me.
I sold a Vehicle to Greg blair who owns this business for the parts and he wrote me a bad check for $400 dollars. I’ve tried to follow up with him about it for months and he is dodging my phone calls and not answering. He clearly knew what he was doing when he wrote the bad check with insufficient funds. I would not do business with them again. Lesson learned.
Jared was a huge help with finding some wheels I needed to help a customer . I can say over the years I have called on Big Leroys, and they have never disappointed me. If they didnt have what I needed they always helped try to find it. Thanks keep it up.
STILL WAITING on a credit Greg promised to give back weeks ago and, in reading the reviews, I'm not the only one in these shoes. Do they actually answer the phone for anyone else? They have caller ID, and the only thing I can get after it rings is a really fast "hold, please" and then sent to an automated message that... wait for it... isn't accepting calls. This certainly doesn't seem to be the way to run a business, especially with customers who are too far away to walk in the door. BEWARE!!!!
Customer Service is 2/5. Business Practices 2/5. Parts Quality is good. Too bad they could have much more repeat customers if they would improve the customer service experience and be more transparent and honest.

Been doing a lot of work on different car projects. Used other yards for parts until I heard of this place so i gave it a shot. Great help over the phone, along with the people in the front office. Great pricing and great customer service. Highly recommended.
