Dans Auto Parts in Houston is a complete scam. I did a $1,000 job for them — picked up, delivered, and completed everything as agreed — and they NEVER paid me. No response, no explanation, just silence.
They are dishonest and unprofessional. If you’re a trucker, dispatcher, or business owner: STAY AWAY.
They will lie, use your services, and vanish when it’s time to pay.
I’ve been in the transport business for years and never dealt with such blatant fraud. I’m reporting them to every platform and will be taking further legal action.
Do not trust Dans Auto Parts. They are scammers.
I came to this place for a light bulb was told it was only a few dollars got home it was $100 charge on my card from the company totally bad business I will be going to the BBB about this as well as taking legal action.
Terrible service from one of the services. They don't pay. They give checks without funds to the transporters who take the cars to them. They are scammers. The person in charge is called Eucharia Okorienta. They play with the clients. Do not go there or do business with them.
called before we came down there and gave them the part number for the part we needed. And after several calls back to them to verify they had the right part. They said they had the right for sure and we sent a driver down there to get it. when the driver got back with the part it was not anywhere close to the part we asked for. They then told us they would find the right part and let us know when it was ready. 4 days later and 9 phone calls they finally say ohh we dont have it. When we sent our driver with the part to return it they refused. and said they didnt sell us the wrong part but in fact the electrical connectors and the buttons on it where different than the one we needed.
Buyer beware! I purchased an engine from this place. Had a broken oil pan. The receipt states that there must be an inspection performed when the engine is delivered. They had my technician sign and the driver left. When I called for an exchange it was just excuse after excuse and that it was a good engine. Of course they are going to say it’s a good engine. Please go somewhere else and make the purchase. They are cheap for a reason. When the engine they gave me was disassembled there was rust on the pistons.
I bought a motor and it came out bad. They are taking weeks to warranty my motor when I just bought with them. Go here if you want to get screwed over.
Receipt clearly shows they accept refunds. New owner has zero integrity to make things right or stand by what is written on the receipt. Recent reviews are spot on as they don’t care. Check the reviews. Must be hurting for money for a transaction less than $100 warrants you to keep people’s money. Sad and unfortunate. No wonder it’s a cash only business. They don’t want to report the parts being sold!!
This company is a SCAM. They don't know what parts they are sending out first of all. Then to get ahold of them I called, faxed and email for weeks to talk to someone. They had us return the part, they signed for the part. I have tried several time to get my money back with no luck. This place is a joke please do not do business with them!
Be careful of them they are scam. don’t buy parts from them. they are unprofessional, and worst experience, .. I called for a hood and requested pictures before delivery, which they never sent, and once the hood arrived it was in very bad condition, don't trust them and don't pay them a head.
Was my first time there had to buy a part for my car like i explained to rhe gentleman that was helping me there past reviews was not good but he assured me that it was brought out so all new people working there
I would have given it a 2 star but they payed us immediately which was the only good thing about the place, then we had to wait for police to come to block the road so we can leave the place, i don't recomend this place at all
They are scam. don’t buy parts from them. We bought transmission from them 2006 Odyssey, they sent transmsision no VIN, broken sensors. They won’t take it back within 30 day period

I got used parts for an old Toyota Camry. Very cheap. Works fine. The owner and his staff are a bunch of excellent people. I strongly recommend this place.

I would not recommend to buy anything from these people. They sell defective parts. They describe the parts incorrect and will not refund you the money. They are very rude and untrust worthy people especially the owner. Big time cheaters WATCH OUT
I bought a complete front clip for a 2013 Ford Expedition, Had to go to their location 3 times for missing parts, then they give me a bad ECU module. Shop smart and don't go there. The salesman Julio is full of empty promises.
Very unprofessional. They are very innacurate about delivery times. When my part finally arrived they had ordered the wrong one. Rather then apologizing for the inconvenience they argued with me and told me i should go somewhere else next time.
Trusted company! I was able to get my used radiator for a $100 and it was in excellent condition. When I called to see if they had this part Julio was very awesome at helping me and somehow he just knew what I was coming from when I came to pick it up. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for a great deal for quality used parts!
From the first phone call Dan's used auto parts was very professional. I was able to find what I needed, I was running late but managed to get there five minutes from closing time. They told me to come on out and keep calling so they know I'm on the way. I will recommend this company to anyone that needs parts or recommendations for installation. The have earned my business and I will be returning.
Talked to Jim about a part for my Toyota. He was professional and very nice. Plus the price I paid on the part was more than fair. I will be back when i need anything else and recommend him to anyone needing used foreign auto parts.
