If you call and ask if they have a part and they say YES, do NOT expect that part to be there when you arrive!! They ran me around for 3 hours looking for a gas tank after telling me multiple times that they had one! Complete waste of time! And when I called asking that they help find one because of THEIR mistake, all they did was say "its not our fault". Complete disregard for a persons time!! They don't care if they run you around and waste time. I will NEVER deal with these guys again!
Ricky (the manager i believe) is a man of his word. They honored the warranty on a motor i bought from them twice! All of their employees were courteous every time i called or went in.
Tex-Mex has several locations in my neighborhood I can almost always depend that if what I'm looking for is not one of them I can find it at one of the other ones.
They always treat me professionally, and with respect, and help me any way they can.
I will continue to trade at Tex-Mex. They are good folks to deal with...
It's a okay place you just have to watch it on the their prices because some of their prices is too high on the parts when you can purchase it new. Just be mindful because they can give you any price for that part.
Well, I appreciated the fact that the place is clean and organized, unlike so many of the salvage yards in Houston now and I got the window glass I asked for, but was not offered a receipt. I didn't worry about it. Turns out, the glass wasn't needed and now I'm stuck with the glass because I didn't demand a receipt. Hopefully I can sell it on Ebay or Craigslist before it gets broken.
Also, the guy that sold me the glass spoke good English but when I called back I got a guy that barely spoke or understood English. This didn't happen in the past in America.
I only have been here twice, because someone has brought me there, and they were looking for a piece for a truck the first time. I was happy that there was someone there to help out with what they were looking for. Because it was a bit hot, and that is why I give it three stars.
An this time they were looking for windows, and we were hoping that someone was going to help us out. But no one was oht there to help out, and that is the reason why I give it two stars is because I had went to asked for help, and no one helped out. An the person I was with went to asked for help to get the windows off the vehicle, and they did help out. I think it is really messed up how a good GOD fearing woman could be asking a man for help but doesn't help. An a man could ask for help, and get help. 💁 I'm just saying. An I would have given one star IF they hadn't help out.
I came to this place and brought an A.C. compressor for my car and when I got it back home it did not fit so the next morning I brought it back for a replacement but they did not have on in stock. I then asked for my money back and they told me that they did not have no money in the building and I have to wait until someone buys something to give me my money back. I have now been waiting for about 2 hours and nothing yet. I never heard of nothing like this in my life and I will NEVER NEVER give this place business again.
Worse customer service ever. I called to ask about 2 things and the guy told me he doesn't have it. Before I could start my next questions he hangs up. I called again to ask about the second part and as soon as he heared my voice he said "I told you we don't have we don't have" and he was mad and yelling. I tried to tell him that I'm looking for something else he kept his voice higher than mine shouting "I told you we don't have it. I called many times after that within 10 minutes and kept picking the phone and hanging up without answering. It was stupid, rude, and way far from being a professional business. If I experienced that from just phone calls what would they have done if I had went there. I'm glad I didn't and I will never consider them and I don't recommend anyone to deal with them.
