Price was good
Parts was not too bad
Not too many rock chips for a 2003 Tahoe/Suburban/ silverado hood
Ofc any body panels need minor alignment
I spent 30 minutes to make it functional
Bought me a transmission for a 2001 Acura TL at great price with 6 months warranty...
I'll say Jr. Stay on top of it by sending me pictures to match exactly what I needed.
Went to pick up a fuel tank for my sons car and they accidentally gave us the wrong one. I came here because it’s close to where we live and they had the best price on this particular part. Good customer service and they were quick to fix the problem, no harm no foul, we’ll definitely be back if we need more parts.
Come check these guys out!
Williams “was” my go to for salvaged parts. I go often since I’m rebuilding my 20 year old truck. Wednesday I arrived at 5:15. I knew they had what I needed according to their website. The man I spoke to confirmed he had them but couldn’t pull the parts off shelf because they had already locked up the cages? They close at 5:30. I’m thinking... then unlock them and get my parts, you have 15min. Do you close at 5:15 or 5:30? Keeping my mouth shut, I simply said okay, I’ll come back tomorrow.
I returned the following day and said I would wait for the guy that helped me yesterday to loud guy sitting down behind the counter. He said no, “What are you looking for”? I reluctantly start over with him explaining what I need. He told me to wait and he would get the parts pulled. I said I have 100$ in cash, can you do it for that? He said I don’t know, I can’t see the pricing (complete BS). I can see the pricing. I said “I’m only asking because if you can’t, I don’t want the man pulling the parts to bother”. He told me to wait. Long story short (sorry), they pulled the parts and I confirmed they were what I needed. He said okay 119. I said “I’ve already explained how much I have”. He said “I can’t do it for that. “ I turned around and walked out. I went down (2) blocks to one of their many competitors. In a matter of minutes got what I wanted and for the money I had to spend. Here’s my question... “Why purposefully waste 45min of my time / and the time of those who actually do the work? Are you just an AH in all the time or just at work? Hopefully Mr. Williams sees my post and makes his fat A get up and try pulling parts for a day.
Very honest business, but young managers a little too stiff n rude..
Lately , no used tires no used batteries and many other part cannot find...
Their dad was mild n kind hearted n extremely polite...that's not found these days...
Jr at the front was very rude and incompetent. I came in to buy a rim, provided him with a stock number, and he was trying to refuse me service because the rims didn't pertain to the exact car I wanted to put them on. We have to mechanic shops and do thousands of dollars of business with each location but we will be moving Williams to the bottom of the list. He cursed at me, looked like he hadn't showered in days, and was too busy watching pornography on his phone to accept that he was in the wrong.
This is an edited review, formerly left them 5 stars, until they improve or respond to this, DO NOT USE.
Staff was very friendly and productive . As soon as i called they hurry and removed the part for me and had it ready as soon as i walked through the door. The were nice enough to wait on me as soon as they were about to lock down the building. I recommend this salvage yard by far the best i have been too in Houston . You guys saved me from breaking down with my children THANK YOU AGAIN !
One of the most honest salvage shops I’ve been to. Bought an engine through Robert, it is perfect almost new condition. Plug and play minus a few brackets.
Good salvage parts, call to check if they gave the part, the prices are very fair and the warranty on the parts are pretty good specially on electrical parts, drive from the southeast to this place across town because of the honest business they run and helpfulness getting what you meed. They have and online directory of parts but if you can’t seem to find it on there just give them a call. They also sell complete engines, wheels, batteries. They have a good selection, prices are similar to those at LQK but here the parts are given to you without having to go rip it out of a junked car, they do the dirty work and their warranty is better than some of the local junk yards also.
I Wanted to buy a taillight for my car. The one they had broken small debris on the inside/small heat damage and scratches. Roberto/Robert said thats "normal" which is not true. Roberto/Robert wanted 45.00, since it had issues I asked if he could sell for 40.00. He had "to look in the system" for the going rate. Then he tells me everyone is selling it for 70-75 dollars, which is false going rate was 40.00-50.00 dollars. I told him I just came from Ortiz Salvage yard across the street and they had it for 40.00. He said "if you can get it for a cheaper there, you should go there" I did just that and got it for 10 dollars less. My suggestion us go to the competition across the street.
