I’m about to be sitting here for 3 hours. I was told a driver would reach out with an eta but after sitting here for an hour and a half I haven’t received a call. Dispatch told me a different driver is coming. The new driver doesn’t call either so I call back and the get him on the phone. The driver says he’s on a job and will call when on the way. I asked if he has an eta but he couldn’t give me one. I never expected a fast service just proper communication.

Please think twice BEFORE call this company for tow service. The Tow truck MAY NEVER SHOW UP AFTER COUPLE HOURS OF WAIT. I called the dispatch to order tow service for my around 6pm and was told the tow truck will be there in about 30-45 minutes. 30 minutes later, the dispatch called and told me that the driver got lost (???!!!) and had to send another tow truck and will take another 45 minutes, at the same time, charged my card $140. 1hour 15 minutes Later, NO one shows up. When I called the dispatch to check the status, the dispatch told me that the driver called and though the order has been canceled, and he went to a different job. 2 hours of wait for nothing.
If I could rate this business zero stars, I absolutely would.
I tried to deal with this company for three days, and ended with telling me that they would not be able (did not want) to tow my vehicle.
Their website clearly states that they do off road vehicle recovery to include: mud, beach and sand, hockey terrain, and river bank.
Wrecker driver claimed to have called me multiple times yet those calls were never received until I had the service department have him call me directly from his personal phone, to the point where he told me that "he didn't want to do the job."
Do not waste your time with this business, they will do nothing but string you along for days on end and you'll end up having to find another service.

I called for a tow around 1pm and the guy who answered set it up and said it would be about half an hour. After an hour i called back and he said the driver was on his way and would contact me when he is close. This happened every half hour until 330pm when i had someone call for me because my phone died and he told them the driver was already there picking me up! Right after that the driver called apologizing for the delay, having no idea that the person in the office had been telling me he was nearby. Honesty goes a lot farther than telling a customer what you think they want to hear!
My experience with Golden Towing was pretty awesome!! They were very punctual and courteous. The driver was very knowledgeable and knew my area quite well. Not to mention...I spent less than I anticipated. Will most definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family. Thanks Golden Towing!!!
Don't use them! They are not honest business. My front wheel hit the curb, and they quoted me $59 for "the quick job", but the driver said he need to put a wood to jack up the car, and charged me $205. Also, the driver is so bad at driving, that he drove me to the wrong mechanic shop, and nearly ran a red light, and hit another driver. i am speechless.
DO NOT USE GOLDEN TOWING! THEY COULD LEAVE YOU STRANDED LIKE THEY LEFT ME! My roadside dispatched Golden towing and I called immediately to let them know my mechanic had to receive the vehicle within 2 hours in order to have it ready that day for me to work on Monday. Golden said that it wouldn't be an issue and they had plenty of time to get it in there by 11:00 am. Not only did they have me Waiting for 2 hours for a NO SHOW, but they couldn't even pick up the phone for my roadside when they called to see what was going on. HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE!!!! And my roadside is guaranteed payment, so you can only imagine how they treat normal paying customers. Now I have to find a way to work on Monday due to their unprofessional and unreliability! Thanks for nothing Golden Towing!
Horrible. Do not call them. Called at 7:30 said someone should be soon. Gave it an hour. Called again and they be there in 20 minutes another 45 minutes passed called again said 10 minutes. 30 minutes passed called try to cancel they would still charge us if we cancelled. Already waited over 2 hours they called us said woul be here soon but no one came, tried to cancel didn't care about the fee at this point but they hung up on us. We called another company to come get us they got there in 15 minutes. The driver then called us 3 hours later to say he was there. And it looks like that some of their positive reviews are not legitimate.
THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.... the $59 fee they quote you is a ploy. They towed my vehicle less than 10 miles after repeatedly lying saying they were 10 minutes away. The driver finally came after 2 hours when he said 30 minutes . The final price was $258 with a quote of $59.
Operator quoted $59 come out fee...but said when the driver comes he can charge me $35- $75. Lol yeah right. The driver can easily take advantage and charge $75 based on how I look or where I stay. Nope. I need a set fee like other companies. Do your research my friends.
Worst company in world. Never ever use them. They and their driver are Ripping off customers. They will tell you a lower price and driver will give an invoice for double amount and if you bring your concern they give you threat to take your car away. Worst company I have dealt in my life.
So i was in a desperate situation yesterday. My car stopped running on the freeway. I was searching for a tow company, called Medina's towing that dispatched Golden towing. I was told that the total was going to be 129 for the service and first 10 miles, and an additional 21 for the 7 extra miles. I understand that the weather was bad and many traffic jams caused a 2 hour delay for them to get to me.When i called to cancel they said they were going to charge me the 129 service call. I said you didnt service me, they advised the service call was just them picking up the phone and telling me they were going to send a tow service. They picked up my car after i got towed off the freeway by another service. They got me to my destination and bam ! They started adding other charges that they did not explain on the phone call ! they hit me with a pick up charge of 90 dollars, a safety charge of 50 dollars ! i asked what the safety charge was and the driver said it was for them putting the lights on the back of the car. Then there was a "Other Charges" charge ! he could even tell me what that was for. I am very upset that they were not upfront about the fees and at least warn me . I would have paid a random person 100 bucks to pull my car. Lesson learned and never will i recommend this towing service.
If you need a tow, and if you have a choice, please do yourself a favor and use somebody else. I had a truly awful experience. They take your full credit card info at the beginning, and say that once the driver calls, I cannot cancel (i.e., if I cancel, they will charge the card for the tow). The driver called very quickly, and said was 35 minutes away. This soon became an hour and a half, and the driver stopped answering his phone. When reached through the company operator, I was told repeatedly -- only 15 minutes away, only 10 minutes away, and so on. This was late in the evening, around 9 pm, so traffic was not an issue. The tow truck finally came after two hours (I don't mind waiting, but the company should provide honest estimates). And then, the final charge was ridiculous. The total was twice the amount originally quoted. $89 for service call, but once the truck arrives, it is $75 extra to hook up the tow (what the heck is the service call fee for), and then it was an additional $65 to attach a magnetic light "for safety". As I said, avoid this company at all costs.
CONSUMER BEWARE!!!! Google shows great reviews for this company so I chose them. I should have checked yelp instead. Called to have my car towed. The operator quoted me a price and scheduled the tow. Once the car was towed I was charged double the price! I was then given additional charges that were clearly just wrote down on the invoice prior to dropping off the car. When I called the operator his response "well the extra charges are for Labor". What??? I was already charged a service fee of almost $100, a "per mileage" fee, and now they are adding this suspicious "labor" fee. He also said they charged extra because he used a flat bed trailer??? This is literally the worse towing company. DO NOT USE!
