Service could not have been better. I’ve used several body shops over the years and Carstar Shanafelt was great with attention to detail, my questions, and price. They were excellent with communicating to me the process and the progress. They handled all communication with the insurance company. I highly recommend them for any repairs and body work.

Since the last time I visited CARSTAR Shanafelt several years ago, the operation of the business has passed to a new generation. In spite of me being a complete stranger to the current management and staff, in minutes I was treated like an old friend.
The metal bodywork I needed on my "project" was completed professionally. The custom mix paint was exactly what was requested and it was applied flawlessly! The work was on time, and at exactly the price upon which we agreed.
This "project" is an antique military ammunition can manufactured in 1940. It is to be a funeral urn for the ashes of a hero being interred at the Fort Sam National Cemetery.

They fully met all my expectations. the work was perfect and timely. The staff is perfect. it doesn’t get better than this.

Recently got hail damage on my Navigator.
Not only was Tracy and Bo very quick to assist in getting estimate scheduled but when I mentioned being on a time crunch they were more than accommodating Bo met before opening time for drop off and called me as soon as it was ready for pick up. They have been doing this for a long time and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my vehicles.
This is the only shop in town I will take my outfit to for repair. Their autobody work is perfection. Bo took care of every detail . I can't thank these folks enough for their excellent service and first class workmanship. Thank you.

Excellent service and at a great price. I brought tail lights in for my son's F150 and they put them on while I waited, even though it was their lunch hour. They gave me a great quote for body work on my Prius, and were very cognizant about me being on a fixed income. Highly recommend this business.
