Brought in my car, clueless to what was going on with it. Not only did Travis take the time to break it down to me so I could understand but he went above and beyond. Was overcharged on a wrecked vehicles headlight assembly, that didnt even have mounting brackets, all the mounting brackets were broken & the older man @ the counter saw it too. The man, who's the owner, said I'm aure you can figure out something to make it stay in the car. He tried to charge me $125 plus tax for that broke bracket light, then said he'd take $100 plus tax. If you're a woman, you better take a man with you!!!!! They saw me coming, as a middle aged woman, who was alone & tried to seriously stick it to me, found the same headlight assembly @ Locos Gringos in Tyler, Tx for $40 bucks, in better condition & had mounting brackets, they even bought the other headlight off me once I showed them the receipt of what the man charged me. I left with a better headlight assembly & $68 bucks back in my pocket. Do Not Recommend Big Texas Auto Parts!!!! Negative Rating... Hwy Robbery & they take advantage of women.
Always have what your looking for!!! When you call to see if they have the part they are Polite when you go to pick up your part they are polite that goes a long way with me. Great Customer service Thanks guys
I have called in advance to see if they have a part or a piece of glass I need and twice now I have had someone tell me they had it and I ask them to go ahead and pull it and I would be on my way to pick it up. Both times I had to have the part that day as I had already promised my customers that I would be able to get their cars done that day, and both times I am told the parts were there and when I was able to go up there I was told that they couldn't find the parts! I never received a phone call letting me know that I would need to check elsewhere in order to get it that same day so I lost both deals and costed me about $400. Customer service is the name of the game and when I am reviewing a business it accounts for more than half of my reasoning to the amount of stars I will give them. Other than those two times I have had some pricing issues where I could buy brand new parts for $30 or even $50 less than what was priced to me used. Other than that all other transactions have been good, and I'm not saying don't use this place at all. I'm just being transparent and letting anyone who might need to know that these are situations that have happened to me and to be aware of them. I would still recommend this place for everyone.
I posted my truck for sale and within 5 minutes I was on the phone with Big Texas Auto. It happened so fast I thought it was a scam. That couldn’t be further from the truth. They made a series offer and handled all the details. Tino was great to work with. Very professional and had all the paperwork ready to go. I can’t believe how easy the whole process was. I highly recommend them if you are buying or selling a vehicle.
