I was stranded in a flash flood on Galveston Island from 12:30am -3:30am Friday nite. After being dropped and dismissed with no back up plan by both AAA & Geico, I decided to pray and thank the Lord that I pushed through the high water, car not dying until I was safely perched up on the turn lane. No police stopped to help, no southern gentlemen, no tow trucks willing to make the 22mile drive with all the local action on the island.. proving this is all about the money.
Halfway thru my prayer, I looked up to see a white horse *AHEM* I mean a huge white tow truck. He pulled up opposite of me, his window down. I asked loudly, "Sir, can you help me?" He looked out the window and hopped out of the truck in the pouring rain. Like the others, he asked where I was going. Instead of OH NO, he said he would come around and hook me up while he waited for the water to go down for his other client.
He was compassionate, most professional, and kind of a badass. His truck was sick! Roomy, high tech, and super clean. Even though my two other options showed up right after, I still chose to roll with Stan & Carter Family Tow!
Lucky I did, because Stan even went out of his way to check under my hood to assess the damage. To make my night/morning even better, he got my car started, so I was able to go to work the next day. Carter family towing alleviated so much stress, I can't thank them enough. It seems like everything is highway robbery these days, but that's not what I experienced when I called Carter family towing. After calling multiple wrecker services in Galveston and League City, Carter family towing charged me $100 less than the lowest bid! Not only were they the cheapest, but they towed my car in the middle of the night.
I cannot say enough good things to express how I feel about Carter Family Towing. After sitting in an airport for 10 hours we finally flew in to Hobby airport at 10:30PM. Later still, on the way to our house a car ran us off the road resulting in 2 flat tires. Tired, stressed, and a little sick, we were clueless how to proceed and so we picked a path that would have cost us at least $1000.00. Then we met Roger Carter – long story short, Roger saved us at least $750.00 dollars and hours in time.

Broke down in Pasadena. Called my roadside assistance and was assigned to Carter “Family” towing. Spoke to the driver and he said “see you in an hour. “ 2hrs later I get a message that they were not going to complete the service request. Bs if you didn’t want the call out why wait 2 hrs to notify? If I could give a zero I would.

This is an absolute great company I called a 2am called multiple company’s and they were wanting to much and long eta.
