  Great place pays more than others and the owner is nice. Always offers everyone a water soda or coffee. my company I work at (Houston hurricane and security) come here for our steel scrap from hurricane pannels being cut.

  I've been coming here for about 8 or 9 years and they have never had the best price or customer service skills. They will pay you for a lesser metal value if they can get away with it. I also saw that their scale is not right. I put a 45lb weight on it and it read 41lb. I know it's not much but it ads up. This place should be a last resort ppl. But hey $2 bills right?!

  I stayed in the truck while my boss went in they didn't have the steel we were looking for but they had some connections for the 2 in water pump we just bought in south Houston so all in all not a wasted trip

  Poor pay scale. When I looked at my pay sheet I mentioned it was low. They said "prices are down"... Couple quick calls to other local yards proved otherwise...joya paid about half less than the others. Don't leave your money on the table, go to a different place. These guys will rip you off.
