Lost my car. I was stranded on 54 and the tow truck driver took my car to the wrong destination. Had to drive around town and call to see which shop had my car.
Buyer beware Watch for this shady company if you get in a wreck my trucks been sitting for years these guys own Elite Auto Collision and the reviews match find someone else to tow you especially from a wreck.
Ghosted me after waiting 3 hours for a 50-80 minute wait. If you see this company dispatched through insurance, cancel immediately and ask for another company. I would rate lower if I could.
TERRIBLE COMPANY. Towed my truck. The claim to be 24/7 and none of my 20 CALLS were answered
WORST COMPANY. I was parked for 10minutes and they towed my truck from a local business parking lot to which I was a customer.

Horrible tow company, I got assigned to apex from my insurance, the estimated wait was 120-180 minutes, I waited about an hour, before deciding to call the company, they picked up right away, but lied and said the driver was on his way, and will be here shortly. I decided to keep waiting for another hour and a half, until I checked the eta again, the full 3 hours eta stated at first had passed and just said it will arrive shortly. I decided to call Apex back and I probably called 3-5 times and all times there was no answer!!
I called my insurance again and they quickly reassigned me to “express towing” I called them right away and they were very polite and I explained I was already waiting for 3 hours. They said no worries and said In about 30 minutes they could help me out. Tow company arrived literally 15 minutes after and helped me right out!
Avoid this company at all costs!
The lowest I can rate is 1 star, when ½ a star would be more fitting, in my opinion. They, at least, answered the phone when I called but why update my insurance with an ETA of 30 minutes if they weren't going to be able to arrive in that timeframe?!! I waited 3 hours before I called to cancel! On my next roadside assistance request I suggested that they DO NOT USE APEX TOWING. Now I have to wait till tomorrow for the mechanic to service my vehicle so bcuz of their lack of time management.
This is the WORSE roadside service I've EVER received. Been in the side of the interstate for 5 hours and still no tow truck. I had to call my insurance back to get someone else assigned to recover my vehicle. I've tried calling the tow company several times and NEVER got an answer.

Thank you for not returning any of mine (nor the insurance) calls and for passing by my vehicle several times while I’m stranded on the side of I-10. I’ve never waited so long for even a ETA call or confirmation of my request. We have been re-matched with a REAL and a PROFESSIONAL service provider. I hope USAA cuts ties with you all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Yesterday my son has some problems with his car, I called the insurance to request a tow service and they provided me the service with this company. They have excellent service, the guy called me to tell me how long will be the waiting time, and they were very precise. Good job!
Friendly service, Colin showed up in time frame he said he would. Being from out of town, sucked to have to use their service, but they were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, which put me at ease in a crappy situation.
Highly recommend! Colin was a pleasure to deal with. He was fast, efficient, & very kind throughout the whole process. Got my car taken care of swiftly & carefully, you can tell he takes pride in his work!

Apex towing and transportation were awesome in helping in me in a tough situation. They arrived in a timely manner ( much sooner than I expected). Ernie was extremely helpful and made a stressful situation better. I would recommend them.
Requested through my insurance roadside assistance at 10:12, it’s been 3 hours and they haven’t shown up yet; my insurance called them for status, they advised they would be here in 30 mins, 30 passed and I called Apex myself directly, now it’s another “20 or so”, now they said they had issues with their trucks. Well then pass on the request to someone who can actually do the job
I would like to express my dissatisfaction with Apex. I asked for assistance through my insurance to get a jump for my vehicle at 3:40pm. I received notification that it was going to take 60-90 minutes, well 2 hours later I had to call to find out they hadn’t even dispatched the driver and they we’re changing shifts and will take another hour. I have dealt with roadside assistance companies before but Apex is the worse, unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. Never will I recommend this poor service.
They were dispatched for an insurance based tow. The driver was very friendly and professional. He was fast and efficient, took good care of my car, and was very skilled. I couldn't have asked for better service for a tow.
My insurance had Apex come out and help me with one of my tires. Lorenzo and Ernie came out to assist, and the were fantastic. The gentlemen were very efficient and professional. They answered all my questions patiently without rushing me. I really appreciated their great service!!!

I highly recommend Apex! Ernie & Lorenzo went above and beyond and were extremely helpful! Lorenzo use to have a car similar to mine so he suggested what the issue could be. I had tons of questions but they didn’t make me feel like I was a bother to them. The lady who scheduled it was so nice and had great customer service! Everyone had great communication and kept me updated on the eta. I love doing business with respectful & honest people. If you want quality service give them a call!
I just want to give a shout out to Oscar and his helper (I didn't catch his name) today. Oscar was very helpful to me when I blew my tire today. He called and confirmed and made sure he knew where he was coming to. They were organized, quick, efficient and friendly. Big ups to Apex and Mr. Oscar
The driver, David was polite but politely screwed us over. When he picked up the vehicle he told us he had a mechanic friend that he could tow the car to. We told him we didn’t want to struggle getting it home if they couldn’t fix it. He offered to help tow it back. Long story short the mechanic didn’t work on the car and was charging $380 to release the car after messaging us that he wouldn’t charge for storage fees and David didn’t help us! We were stuck with a drained battery from hazard lights, a car that wouldn’t start either way, and NO help getting it towed! We were conned by both.
I needed roadside assistance yesterday evening (4/3/24) My Insurance Progressive got APEX Towing & Transport. Car got locked with keys inside and car was running, this was at 7:30pm. After waiting 2 hours (mind you car still running) I called Apex because no one ever called me, the dispatcher (female) tells me that they are in Las Cruces and it be another hour or so. It would be closer to 11:30 pm (4 hours) before anyone would show up. Cancelled the service and had to break the window, remember car was still running. Horrible customer service!!

Cancelled the towing job after 2 hrs of accepting from my car insurance company at 8:30 PM on a Saturday. There is no limit to their unprofessionalism. I know, this one more one star review will not change their careless attitude towards their work ethics. But, needs to be mentioned.
Was assigned to Apex by Progressive insurance. Initial ETA was 120 t0 150 minutes, let's say 2.5 hours, that time came and went. I called again got a new ETA of an additional 60 minutes. I waited in 105 degree heat, and nothing. I called again and got a new ETA of 3 hours. Every time it was that the driver was on the east side of town dropping off and would head my way as soon as he was done. The last excuse was that the driver was late to his shift. Very irresponsible in taking assignments they can't fulfill. If the insurance doesn't pay well, then dump that contract and take their name off the website. I would give them a 0 if I could.
I wish I could give them zero star rating. Or even negative starts for lieing on me. Waited over an hour. Multiple calls, voicemail and I also texted with no response from them...then roadside assistance calls me saying that I wasn't there when I was my my car before I received the text that they were on the way. They are literally located 11 minutes from where the pick up site. Terrible customer service to lie on a customer, bring patient and polite. That's bad business and they will cause Pep Boys to lose money and customers for their negligence. Pep. Boys please drop Apex. The reviews speak for themselves.
This company is garbage! They would be out of business if it wasn’t for roadside assistance. Waited 3 hours on ETA of 1.5 hours and they would not answer had to cancel and request new tow company. If your roadside gives you APEX cancel immediately. They are pathetic the owner should be embarrassed. But he has his employees/family members give 5 stars to his 1 star company because he is a COWARD to respond to negative reviews! Be a man little boy and respond to everyone that knows you are garbage!!!
They were originally assigned and accepted to tow my SUV. Nearly 5 hours later they cancel the order because they are unable to fulfill the job. They continuously updated the eta until they canceled the job... While they did answer the phone for updates i was consistently informed that it would be 30 more mins and that the driver was across town.
Im sure you provide great service but please have a better handle over your dispatching before accepting a job.
After being stranded by budget car rentals for over 24hrs Juan Carlos Diaz (driver) made it all happen. Took his own time pressing for our replacement rental waiting for over an hour at location that was 120 miles from us. He had a great attitude and treated us like family couldn’t of done it without him.
I used USAA to dispatch roadside assistance and this company was provided. My battery was dead and I requested an on-site battery installation or change out. I was told by tow driver he could do it, I asked if he could check on the installation requirements to ensure he had tools etc. He said he was good to go, will research independently. After getting a ride to purchase battery and returning over an hour later, the tow driver states he doesn’t have a tool to complete installation. Then the complaint cancelled my entire service call. Believe the reviews.
I want to let you know that I received a Tow from this company and yes they were late 5 minutes but the company kept me in the loop. I thought that they were completely professional and polite. The driver's are clean and professional looking as well. Every has had the tow driver that looks like an ex-con theses guys were total opposite polite, informative, and quick. Keep up the good job I am APEX for life. Good job managment and staff.
