I paid $90 for a "diagnostic" that yielded nothing but a vague invoice note: "FOUND ELECTRICAL BATTERY TO BE BAD." The shop lacked all transparency, refusing to even share the specific error codes until I made payment a condition for receiving them.
When I asked for a mechanical inspection or warranty details on their $4k HV battery quote, the receptionist had to defer every basic question to "Roger." To finish the experience, I found my car left unlocked in an open lot with the keys inside. Save your money and tow your vehicle to a larger city for professional service.
Lol laughing at the bad review. My Hummer h2 down here from Midland. Had an issue no one could find "in years"! Roger found it, called the manufacturer and fixed it. We moved down here and so thankful to find Magnum. He actually found and fixed "the problem" instead of finding other things to over bill on. Thank you so much!!
This place is top notch! It was a Sunday, our car was on the side of I20 and here came Mangum’s wrecker within the time frame he said it would be. He delivered us to the hotel then delivered the car to the Ford dealership! Good people do still exist! Thank you!!!
Roger and the kind folks at Mangum helped us get back on the road right away after our van broke down in Eastland and we were able to make it to our show that night! Roger is a very knowledgeable mechanic and we highly recommend this shop.
Charged me 3grand to tow me from ranger to weatherford afterwards i found out anywhere else they wouldve done it for 1500 so if you need a tow keep looking somewhere else.
What a great company! Called late at night in the middle of no where. AAA would not come tow, the Avis Car Rental would not come. Luckily found these guys. They were very kind, knowledgeable about the area and pin pointed my location. Cannot thank them enough for really going out of their way to assist!!!
We were so happy with our service at Mangum! They definitely went above and beyond! Our car died while we were in town visiting family. I was nervous about taking my car to someone we didn't know but am so grateful that we found this place. Everyone we worked with was very friendly and professional and made a challenging situation so much easier for our family. I also thought their pricing was very reasonable for the service provided. Thank you!!

If I could give them a zero I would. This business charged 8k for repairs they verbally claim have warranty, disclaimer on the invoice says no warranty except manufacturer on the installed parts...but when proof of purchase for items installed is requested, they refuse to provide. 8k dollars. Verbal warranty. Failure to provide documentation required for manufacturer warranty. This place takes advantage of young women needing vehicle repair and verbal warranties do not cash at the manufacturer. Steer clear of this place...55 years in business, family owned does NOT cash at the manufacturer either...
Zero written warranty information provided. I do not know how many years and or miles this warranty covers, but according to my paperwork, there is no warranty with Magnum Service Center.
Avoid this place. Who needs lip service in today's age, provide it in writing or there is no deal.
Underhanded business policies.
I was told the man working on my truck was head honcho, a simple Google search found that I was lied too by both of the women in the office.

This business lacks morals and ethics to operate like this and when asked for written warranty, just more lip service...family owned blah blah blah...none of us are predetermined.
These guys and gals are amazing. I couldn't more highly recommend a service shop! My wife was driving cross country from Dallas to California due to me coming home from deployment in a few days, when my power steering supply line ruptured. These guys, while having a full shop, went out of their way to repair and get her moving down the road. They are very family oriented and amazing with veterans. It's amazing to see that people still exist that that hold some weight with. His son is in the Air Force and hes very considerate of vets. Again I couldn't be more thankful of these amazing people and enthusiastically recommend using them for any repairs.
My mother and I were stranded today on I-20 near Eastland. We were traveling from Dallas to Midland and felt very vulnerable sitting on an exit ramp. David showed up and was such a gentleman. He took us all the way to Abilene to a car rental place, then to a dealership, and even helped us unload our luggage into our rental car. You dont meet a lot of people these days that have such a serving heart. We are so thankful for his kindness. I highly recommend Magnum Service Center!!!
