The truth is, I had a bad experience with this workshop, I took my car because it had a problem and they told me it was a sensor, the fuel pump, which was already new and they assured me that the car would be fine after changing the parts. They charged me $1000 to change the part but after 3 days they told me it was something else. All in all, I had to get my car out even worse than I let them. They were guessing it's one thing and then another. In general I do not recommend this place.
I had Chris order me shocks for my F350 that he recommended. He said that they would ride better and he did exactly that. It was an amazing experience. I'll be back.
Beware of Unethical Practices - Misled and Overcharged!
I wish I could give this shop zero stars. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. I took my car in for some repairs, providing my own parts to save on costs. Initially, they quoted me a price of $1,500, which I thought was reasonable. However, once I got the bill, I was shocked to find it totaled $2,500!
It turns out they made unauthorized purchases and left out critical parts that I could have easily bought myself. When I confronted them, the mechanic and the owner flat out lied, claiming I had authorized these extra purchases. I never did! They seemed to have no regard for my input or permission regarding what they were doing to my car, treating me like I was just another number on their ledger.
The receptionist was equally unhelpful and downright rude. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority for them. I felt belittled and dismissed, and I can’t shake the feeling that they took advantage of me simply because I’m a woman. It’s infuriating and disheartening.
If you’re considering this shop, I urge you to think twice. Make sure to get an itemized receipt of all the parts they claim to need for your vehicle, and be very cautious about what you authorize them to do. I’m now taking legal action because this has been a blatant violation of trust and ethics.
Please, for your own sake, beware of this place! There are plenty of honest mechanics out there who won’t treat you like a wallet with legs. Save yourself the headache and the money!

An great place to start when you need that hard to find part. These guys have saved my butt on a few occasions. Once again an impossible to find Park Mr Stone was able to help me with.
They have tires. I had a tire with a big hole I went to tire shop down the street kid standing out side said there where closed for the day. And its the only tire shop that shows up on Google maps I was about to drive to another town with a flat. I just happened to see a banner they have up about new and used tires I got lucky. They need to update there Google maps info with tire shop also. Need to say stones wrecking yard and tires
Called for a part and said they would call back and 2 days later didn’t hear so I called them back and said they were still check on the part a week later still haven’t heard back from them
Awhile back I took my daughter's Toyota Camry in for an issue we'd been dealing with for a year. We'd taken it other places to no avail. They worked on it until they found the problem, which none of the other places we'd gone had done. They not only fixed the problem but printed out a manual with descriptions on how to fix if the problem should it arise again. Above and beyond service! Thank you Stone's!
They are honest people and we completely trust them on all of our repairs that we need . If you want good work and you want to trust who you give your vehicle to then you found the BEST place here !
I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for an old car part. We needed a part that we couldn't find anywhere else, and we found it here. The employees/owner were all amazing! They were also very fair on the pricing! They knew that we literally could not find that discontinued part anywhere else, but they didn't charge us anything more or extra, which I've been coming across more and more. Thank you so much y'all! 5 Stars all the way!!!
I love these guys! They are so down to the earth, and very fair n helpful. If there's an issue they are not experienced with, they let you know instead of trying to "fake it".
$600 estimate, $400 added on at pick up. They never called and asked about additional charges. Then when asked why it went up so much the lady at the desk was rude and lied about what she said to me.
Not to mention the work we agreed upon wasn’t even completed. I would absolutely not recommend this place.
Great people, I only met the grandfather once and he was such an amazing and helpful guy. I feel Grief for the family's loss. The loss will always hurt, its about how you live with that loss, anyhow from what I saw, good job keeping his memory alive by working hard at it, peace
I went in to ask about a motor for my truck, they didn't have the part but also didn't waste my time. They were very polite and upfront and gave me a very reasonable estimate for when they get that motor in stock, they also have a good warranty. Would recommend based off their honesty alone
Though James did not have what I was looking for he was incredibly helpful answering all my questions honestly. He referred me to Roy Miller's in McKinney which was also very helpful and professional.

To be honest I'm not sure about the score yet I was looking for a part for my 94 Toyota 4Runner I just needed a master cylinder reservoir but I was having trouble finding one quick and without getting the master cylinder also the owner help me out there he found a master cylinder I could get more than I wanted to pay but he could get it for the next day so to be honest I appreciate the help and more it's better than driving around spending money doing that. And from just standing there at the counter he will help people out to find some place that you could go and you could go get a part he'll help you out. He also gave me number and address to another place. Right now there's construction around that area where he's at but it's still easy to find and get to. Also does Automotive work over there even air conditioning and I asked. My first time there I didn't even know was there until i do the Google thing. ------ there is a 3% charge to the total if you use any card besides cash but for me my amount still came out cheaper than going getting cash from the ATM. so always figure that out depending on how much your Charges going to be there.
The guys at Stone's are great. Service that you expect from a family run small town business. Honesty, integrity and fair prices. What more can you ask?.
Chris has always stood behind his work. He got the OReilly to honor an AC compressor after the guarantee had expired. He replaced it for free. He works to make things right and does a good job. Jack Karaway down below is one star rating is a liar.
I've been going here for over twenty years, I was 18 the first time I went there and they have always been great. They are personable, with great prices and service. I would never go anywhere else.
this place is awful. they sold me a motor without all the parts on it. admitted it was their fault. and still will not fix it or refund my money and they have my sons car there it has been stuck there for 4 months they may have a window you need or some part but dont trust them to work on nothing and I really wouldnt even buy a small part from someone this crooked!! We are going to court over it now.
I did an internet search of salvage yards for a particular part and got 20 plus quotes. Stone's beat the lowest price by almost half. This is 'country people' and privately owned at their best.
I've gotten parts from these guys a couple times. They are very courteous and helpful. They go the extra mile with customer service. I was looking for a headlight switch and Stone called me days later when he picked up a truck that had one. I appreciate their service.
