Our car would not start this morning and we tested the battery and determined it wasn’t bad so we called this towing service. Instead of just loading up the car and taking it to the dealership, which would’ve been easy, but Freddy in Denton checked it with me and we used his battery jump box and the car started and when I went to AutoZone, we determined the battery was bad. He saved me $180 in tow fees and any dealer fees I would’ve otherwise incurred, made my day and totally recommend.
The last at the front desk was fighting every question we asked, told me to not record a video when I was just on my phone and was just rude the entire time. If you have to deal with this place good luck cause they can't seem to let you finish talking or even listen to what you have to say in a respectful manner.
They gave me a price quote over the phone. As soon as they arrived an hour late, they demanded double the price of the quote I received. I refused and was left stranded on the highway.
Pro Tow was a big help. I was stuck in a busy road and they got there I was able to jumpstart my dump truck and get me back on the road and out of that traffic. Highly recommend for any size of vehicle towing.
The most pleasant experience I've had with a tow company which is an odd thing to write, but still true. My car was inoperable and wasn't easy to load, but Skye was patient with the process and super personable. Definitely helped alleviate a stressful situation. Thanks Skye!

This review is not for the guy who came out to do the tow, he did a great job. This is for the people who dispatched the tow. I told them I needed a dead car moved from my garage to a storage unit, and that it needed to be lifted from one end, and dollied on the other end because the tires on the car are dry rotted. I was quoted $180 for that, and I agreed to that price before they sent the driver. After the tow, I was charged $260. When I called back to ask about it, they told me I was charged for the dolly and the labor of the driver. When I asked why that was not part of the original quote, they just told me that the estimate just is what it is, and the actual tow might be more. I'm not expecting the estimate to be an exact match to the actual work performed, but I wasn't expecting it to be off by that much. If they would have quoted me higher, I probably would have still agreed to the tow. But my issue is that they just threw out one number, and charged me something way different than I expected. Usually if a quote is way off from what I was actually charged, there's usually a good explanation for it. But I don't feel like I got one from the office at Pro Tow.
Freddy did a great job. My vehicle couldn't be started, he was able to rock my vehicle perfectly into a parking spot at the service department. I joined him in the cab, he was professional, courteous, and friendly. I will be sharing his card with everyone in my family around the Denton area. Thank you. Sincerely, Wesley Odell.

Please be aware. People taking phone call has no idea about the actual job. I emailed them about my pizza vending machine with videos and images but the tow guy showed without any equipment. I had to spend more money to get the job done !!! Tow guy blamed it on office people (lady who took my phone call and gave me a quote) as they gave him totally different requirements. Total scam. Avoid. Its total different people taking phone call and who actually tow your stuff.
So it looks like my review was deleted. So here I go. In 2021 I got into a car accident. I'm a female veteran (Proud Mexican American) who felt undermined by the protow truck driver. My camaro literally almost flipped over while being transported and to make matters worse the TWU POLICE OFFICER seemed a lil to friendly with the other party (white girls). The tow truck driver was rude he literally would not listen to me as I asked to take my car to a very specific collision repair location. He stated let the insurance handle it. I had to call Mr Brian from the Collision repare to call their management to get Pro tow to listen. Trying to make a quick buck. I will continue to POST PROTOW. So go ahead and delete my 1 star review. Illb back :)

As a first time lady having my vehicle towed I did not know fees were expensive even if they somewhat understand your situation you still have to come up with the money. My experience was tiring I did not have have exact change pro Tow won got all my money glad my ride is back at my apt complex angry I could not get change back damn.
After my son drove off a driveway into a culvert, Austin worked efficiently, creatively and effectively. Austin was so polite and I will recommend Pro-Tow to my neighbors and friends.
Honestly this is a company that isn’t well established and obviously does not have the financial resources to have a fully equipped and running business. It’s very evident in the number of employees they have running. When I arrived To pick up my car from this “24 hour towing business” no one was there to assist because apparently the person who is doing the towing is also responsible for releasing the vehicles and they prioritize taking vehicle rather than releasing. The lady who answered the phone was well mannered and very helpful. But honestly if you have the resources to take vehicles from the average working American have enough human decency to allow them to retrieve their assets in a timely manner. I had To call out of work to wait 2hours to get my vehicle. That is ridiculous and honestly should be embarrassing to any company owner.
Austin was polite, friendly and did a great job. My Tesla would not shift into any gear and he was able to get it on the bed without just dragging it
He answered every question I had and provided great service.

If I could give 0 I would , light skin female in the front desk is so ghetto, they don't give you your car unless you pay extra fees they don't tell you about until you pay the fine , they have no sighs of these extra fees either , b aware of this towing company do not recommend it , fortunately I was forced to use this since officers gave me no choice
Edit manager in Denton location on university dr was horrible as well made us pay $60 to get the car out officers where involved &, they witnessed the people in the office say they would load car , manager then proceeds to go outside and charge us 75 dollars more to load car up on our trailer after they told us they would load it up , also the light skin ghetto girl in the front went outside and walked tours our car and threw a buissness card at us asking us to call her manager , we indeed did not ask her to give us a number to call . The cops told us this place was very unprofessional and that we should make sure they didn't steal anything out of our vehicle and to check their website that they're charging us for way too much
Chris is a true professional . When your car is down the last thing you want to deal with is an unprofessional and careless driver. Chris kept in contact with me on his arrival. He handled my car quickly and with care. When we got to my house I asked him to back it up into the driveway between two buildings. He did it with ease and set my car down exactly where I needed it. My car was stuck over this curb, Chris came at midnight and made sure he gently lifted my car to get me out of trouble and allow me to leave with no damage. I genuinely appreciate this and really turned my whole night around. Great guy, extremely professional and respectful.
My transmission went out and the response time from the company was right away less than 30 mins. Bear the tow truck driver was excellent and extremely helpful.

I’m the Mad Max guy in Denton and my truck broke down a year ago. Gas pump diaphragm gave out. The Officer who stopped to help called Pro Tow. A Driver named Terry Hayes pulled up. My truck is for show and is covered in props and mods. He went out of his way to make sure the truck was taken care of. Nothing broke off, he avoided trees and watched for potholes.
He even helped me push the truck back into my driveway.
Two nights ago, my bottom radiator hose slipped off while driving, engine overheated, gas line vapor locked and my engine quit. It was 1am and I was stuck on the Loop, alone. I called Pro Tow hoping for half the service I got last time.
Out of all the drivers, Terry called me saying he was on his way. When I told him it was Mad Max again, he remembered me and got excited. He came straight there.
He even remembered where my house was. I had family visiting that day, sleeping in the front room. He went out of his way again to pick up the chains so that they made no noise. The only sound that night was his trucks engine.
My family never heard a sound.
I may dress up like a crazy person when I drive the truck, but getting in a cab with a stranger at 1am, alone isn’t all that comfortable, even for me.
How this guy talked to me made me feel like I knew him since high school.
I’ll always call Pro Tow, and driving a truck I did an engine swap in myself, I’m sure it will be sooner than later.
