I am highly satisfied with the tow truck services provided to us in Richardson. They were punctual and arrived within the specified time frame. The staff was very courteous and professional. Richardson tow truck services exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them to others.

Called for a tow, they told me 1 hour wait. After patiently waiting 2 hours I called to see where the tow truck was, and it turned out that they never sent a truck. So they took off a whopping $10 and told me one more hour. After the hour passed I called them back because no one had come, and for a whole other hour no one answered the phone. Finally after the 5th hour of waiting someone came and no one ever answered my phone call. For a 24/7 service they sure as hell act closed. By far the worst service ive ever had. The guy who came was nice, fast, and gave me a ride. The only good thing that came out of it. He works for others companies so not coming back to this one wont hurt him.

The only number I was given on the phone was $129, I reasonably assumed that was the base cost of the tow. However that was only the dispatch fee not the tow fee, and in total the tow ended up being over $300 for 7 miles, Service was fast and good (for me anyway, but this is just a tow dispatcher so your experience may vary)

One step towing was able to pick up my car and take it directly to the tire shop as I requested. Originally estimated with about a 2 hour wait, our drive r Toby Guerra showed up in less than 30 minutes. He was very professional and impressively quick loading up my Jeep. We had the car dropped off and even brought over the paperwork right to the window of my husband's car so we didn't have to stand outside in the rain. I will definitely use One step towing again.

Tried to call but just got the driver, tried to email using the contact form on the website but received an error "Failed to send, contact administrator". I requested a 2013 Ford Edge to be towed on 6/15/17. I first called a different company who quoted me $155 and a 2 hour wait for my towing need. Shopping around, I then I called your company @ 8:35 AM. I was told the wait would be about 35 minutes. 20 minutes later I was called and told the original driver could not make it and another one would be in route in about 35 minutes. An hour later the driver arrived. He said he needed to start the car (which I wasn't crazy about) then he could not figure out how to get it in neutral so he explained he was going to have to use skids and that would change the job. He backed the truck up and I went in the car and put it in neutral for him (you have to press on the brake). An hour later they still had not gotten it on the truck, I guess they were having problems with the straps. He then charged me an extra fee because the car was too heavy and they needed to use chains instead of straps... this is confusing because I told them what kind of car I had to begin with. All in all a 35 minute original estimate turned into an over 2 hour job (I finally had to leave to get to an 11:30 appointment) and over $200 which I am not happy with. Just sharing my experience.

The towing company provided excellent service, and I was quite pleased with it. They were quick to reply and had extremely affordable charges. If I ever needed towing services again, I would absolutely call them.

I can only rate the customer service calls for a tow. In total I called 5 times. I was not charged for anything. The first call was promising, guaranteeing a 30 minute wait for the tow driver's arrival. I provided credit card information, understanding that once the driver is dispatched there's a no-refund fee. Then I called a second time and they told me that the driver is close and the driver would contact me once they're on the move, and that they're currently dropping off another customer. I reluctantly agreed and waited another 20 minutes. The third time I called, the dispatcher told me the driver was 8 miles away and they're finishing off the current job. I was shocked, and didn't agree to wait or disagree. The fourth call bounced back. I had waited 10 minutes. The fifth call was when I learned that the driver will take 90 minutes to get to me. This is on top of what I had already waited. I asked to cancel and not be charged for anything, to which they agreed. If I could give a recommendation, it would be to provide an accurate/honest ETA for customers. Some people are willing to wait, given that the ETA is properly specified. However I experienced a vague analysis and felt like the company just wanted more money on the backlog. Note: if this rating is changed to 1-star, then that means I've been charged without invoice. If it is still 2-star, then I have not been falsely charged.

I wish I had not looked at the number of stars overall and instead read all the reviews folks have said. My experience was absolutely horrible. They charge you $129 for the service call. I had assumed this was the towing cost as the distance I needed was not very far. Unfortunately this service call is just for them to dispatch someone to you. It does not include the actual tow. This fee is paid separately to the person who actually does the work. This company is absolutely misleading as the pretend to be the towing service when they are actually just a dispatch service. We as consumers need to call the better business bureau for the sake of others!

5 stars are not enough. Professionalism is key when it comes to doing business and no need to look any further. I was attended quickly and properly, not once on hold. I was always updated with the latest news from the call center and in no time was the tech headed my way. It's rare to see a honest towing company, however prices were always upfront and I knew what to expect. Also being under BBV provided me with the trust in providing my card information over the phone. Overall could not be any more satisfied.

The service was so bad and they charge more than other companies . They take advantage of people situation .in less than 4 miles service. they charge me more than 200 dollars that is mean fraud you gays said to me that you are going to charge me $55 plus $ 35 for first 10 miles and 45 cents for each mile in the rest of the service . and the distance was only 3.2 miles. And how comes the total amount was 205 im not stupid you gays stole my money I'm not going to call you forever

Called one step towing to book the service, the agent took my call fast and provided great customer service. The time of arrival of the tow truck was amazingly fast and with in the time given, when booking the service. Overall everthing was professional and quick i would definitely recommend this company again.

I waited 1 1/2 hours for my insurance to show up only to have them leave as soon as they showed up. The reason was because I was putting my spare tire on. I had hit the curb and two tire blew out. I wanted to cause less damage to my wrim but the towing technician my insurance sent out a company that refused to wait for me to finish. They left after I told the driver he better not leave me. One step showed up on time and took care of my car.

Beware before you get taken advantage of!! I wanted to use someone local to help us out when our suv got stuck in construction mud just outside our home. Upon calling, I got a dispatch service and was informed it was $89 just to send someone out, credit card number required. Being in a pinch, we okay'd it. The tow truck was from a Garland tow company, not Richardson. The hook on the winch broke while pulling out our vehicle, and the driver had to go get it repaired. Upon return, he towed out our car. Afterwards, we received a text receipts and a breakdown, which totaled $414...to winch a car out of some mud right next to concrete. The breakdown given was $89 service call, $75 to load on truck, $150 to tow out twice (because his equipment broke), and $100 to fix his equipment. This was not a complex job, and if his equipment was insufficient, we should have been told, not required to pay because it broke. Upon calling, and much arguing, they said they'd refund $50. Once they have your card number, you don't have a say, so beware.

Do not call them! The dispatcher lies. He said a dolly would be sent with the flat bed truck but then the driver said that is not possible. That a dolly could only be used with another type of truck. The driver said to me that the dispatcher was "lying to me, and just wanted my money". The driver was honest during the tow but this company needs to fire the dispatcher. He was rude on the phone and dishonest. And to top it off they are very expensive. Choose another company.

First They arrive 4 hours later, then they Charged me for more than $200 for towering my car to a distance of 7.5 miles and threatened to impound my car if I don't approve the payment. I never experienced such unethical business practices and high degree of unprofessionalism.

I used this service back around October the 1st. My truck had broken down a few blocks near my apartment and it was way too complicated trying to push my truck up a hill. Believe it or not: even when our TX drivers manual insist we hang a white clothing or cloth item outside of our vehicle for distress even Irving Police had passed me by 3 times without even helping me out. However one officer did manage to assist with traffic cones to stray the vehicles away from me. Later I summoned a truck from 1 Step Towing and the driver arrived fairly swiftly. Thank you again 1 Step Towing you guys rock!

I recently had to have my vehicle towed. The tow truck driver was kind, friendly and courteous. As a female, I did not feel uncomfortable at all. I felt safe. I now have their number in my phone for future use.

They were prompt and professional coming to help me with my stranded vehicle. The driver was also very personable and understanding. I will definitely use them for my future towing needs.

Rule of thumb that I learned . Always ask "what will be my final price after you tow my car". I was quoted one price, and after my car was towed there were other "BS" fees added. My mistake I should have asked at the beginning. Wont happen to me again.

OG changed my tire out for me today. He was punctual, very friendly and worked quickly. I'm happy!
