Easy and convenient place to discard cardboard boxes. Just make sure you break them down and throw them into the recycle containers. They try to keep this place clean and that's very much appreciated
As others have said, really great for the city to provide a place to drop off recyclables, especially for those times when you have pieces large enough that you are tempted to put out for big trash pickup.
It's so nice for the City of Richardson to provide this drop off center. It is very well used. Most the times the bins are full, but if you break down your boxes properly, you can usually squeeze them in. Or just be a bad neighbor and roll up and throw on the ground.
They have really cleaned it up, placed clear directions on what they take and have signs warning people who simply dump there a hefty fine. Great job of renovation. Also conveniently open till 9pm.
There were three large receptacles, mostly full like everyone else has said. You just drive up, park, and drop off your own recycling items, then leave. Quick and convenient!
I was so excited to find a place where I could recycle all the plastic bottles from my beauty products. The recycling bins were very full, but that may be because I went on a Saturday. It would also be nice if they accepted electronics though.
The containers should probably be emptied more often. It would also be nice if they took electronics, batteries, and the like. Other than that, it's a good drop off center.
