They broke my ac. Had fluid leaking out my car because they wanted to “show me” I didn’t know how to put a sensor in. It’s all on their cameras. They said they put a claim in (3 months ago) but I went half the summer with no ac because they’re trying to dodge me. This was the only time I’ve been to advanced auto. They’re incompetent
They fired Greg Pinson after 22 years and multiple awards, he was trying to stop a thief from getting out of the store and instead of getting awarded for that, he got fired. This is an outrage, and everybody should stop shopping there
The manager told me that they had different systems so he could do the return. I later found out that they could. Don't work customer service if you are not willing to put the work.
The staff at the commercial department are very rude and unprofessional. They become upset when asked about warranties, and if they cannot locate the warranty, they deny service and are unhelpful. I am dissatisfied with their customer service. Their service is terrible.
I came here looking for a part for my car! I went beyond and back to help me! They didn't carry it, although they looked hard to find me the part online. I was able to order it. A great team. Amazing staff I recommend if you need to find a part they will help you. I can say two other auto part stores said the same. Thank you.
I have dealt with a lot of Advance Auto, but this Advance Auto here in Irving and a gentleman named Javier went above and beyond to help me so I recommend this Advance Auto and asked for Javier to get good service
A good store with good parts selection and efficient counter service. Physically had the necessary parts (2) but the inventory system said they did not. Almost got sent to another store for no reason. Fortunately, the actual physical check found parts. Charged a refundable core charge (refunded) despite swapping batteries right in their parking lot with their tools. (Maybe policy, but still annoying) This was after "free installation" was unavailable because "the guy" who does that was not there. Don't advertise it if you're not going to do it. For more mechanically inclined people, this is probably a great store. For those who are a bit lost under the hood, you may be disappointed.
Christy and Wendy went above and beyond when it came to my battery. I’m new to Texas and while at work it just stopped working after my shift. After towing the car there they assisted me with my battery exchange and made it seamless. I bought the battery in Orlando, FL on a different Advanced Auto Parts system and because I had my receipt on my phone they honored it and got me to work on time. I’m forever indebted to them. Great women!!

Went to find a tool for Audi brake calipers, did not have right size. there was a spot for it on the shelf but it was not stocked (14mm Triple Square XZN Socket for VW/Audi). Went ot another competitor that had it. Price was cheaper here for the tool, but was not in stock
Man Miguel was awesome! I was having trouble getting my head light in my car and he came outside with no hesitation to help me out. It took us a little time but he was patient with me. I have been to multiple stores but the people in this store I must say go far and beyond in customer service. The manager in the evening is also one of the best managers I have ever had to deal with. He helped me figure something out and didnt have too. Awesome people working here!
Working late afternoon on a Saturday and go to leave, and my car battery died. After calling the local dealership, and a couple autobody shops in the area, no one could fit me in. Called the Advanced Auto Parts on Inwood, and they said they sell batteries and could replace it for me. Got the battery I needed and Randy, who is the store manager, helped change it out. Very courteous and professional staff, and Randy got me on my way in short order. If you live in the uptown area, and need anything for your vehicle, highly recommend Advanced Auto Parts.

This store is Irving's main Hub. If they carry it in stores, it is likely to be in stock in this one. Well staffed. Friendly service. Not mechanic level knowledge, but one cannot expect that at a retail sales store. Some prices are good, others are too high (compare Seafoam to other retail outlets). Their brand parts seem to be within 5% of OEM quality or better.
I went in for questions and window shield fluid. Robert and others helped me to locate the fluid and Robert was very informative to answer my concerns about my car's AC. I will definitely go back if I need anything.
Had a great experience here with super fast service and really nice employees. My car battery died this morning and I called a few different places to get quotes. Advanced Auto Parts offered the best price and battery came with a standard warranty. I showed up and had my new battery installed within 20 minutes! I'm a loyal customer from now on!
Won't go anywhere else for parts! They have the best prices the best selection and the people here are the best! They don't try to sell you the most expensive item first. They told me what was available, and i choose which one i wanted.. There was no pressure at all to buy the most expensive one! Outstanding service!!!

I love this place, good honest people behind the register, bought 2 batteries for my truck the autocraft gold about a year and a half ago. I have had some weak charging issues. Had them load tested and with not having my original receipt they warrantied them on the spot. You just can't get much better than that.
I go to this store for all of my auto part needs, and I have to say I love the service that these employees express and serve you with! Its one of the best around out of these auto parts stores and while theyre honest with you if they don't know something, they'll help you figure it out!!
