Just started scrapping about a year ago with my friend (who is also a woman) and we are actually pretty good at it so usually when we show up at indigo we have at least 400 to 700 lbs of stuff and they are always very patient and kind with us!! Holding our magnets so we can make sure nothing we are scrapping on the metal side is aluminum, lol!! Also the woman who work in the booths where you go to get your money are always so sweet and nice regardless of the kind of day they may be having. So definitely my top scrapyard in Houston area to use. I can't forget my group of guys on the precious metals side that always have big smiles and show so much patience with us too, sharing a few jokes and laughs with while working their butts off at the same time so you can get out of there quickly since we all understand how precious our time is in this lifetime. Thanks for being such a great group of employees and knowing how to run a business always thinking of your customers first!
Been coming here for a couple of years to get rid of my metal best prices in Houston they’ll even help you unload it. I have all the machines to get you unloaded and taken care of the guys up there are wonderful
They were ok had good prices 1 day just go in and they start telling me my pool heater copper is really brass and wouldn't budget even tho I know form a fact it's copper took it somewhere else and confirmed bunch of crooks there loss I scrap about 60 heayers a year

Very good place to take metals to sell for a little extra pocket money. They pay top dollar in cash amongst other good things like having a scale you pull onto when you pull in, and they also help you unload whatever you have no matter the amount! I recommend this place! I have been going here for years!
Hands down the easiest most convenient scrap place around town. Need to get rid of old dry let and washer, drove up on scale, then they offloaded it, back onto scale, parked and got paid. Whole 3 minutes max in and out, fantastic and everyone super friendly and helpful.
Prices are competitive Staff is helpful courteous and generally about the only time you need to exit your vehicle is to go collect your money It's always a pleasure to do business here. Highly recommend Indio for your scrap metal biz.
I pass by 5 other yards omw to indio , if that says anything . My opinion this is the best yard you will ever come across they always pay more than any place I've seen . Very honest people & they will always get my business .
There are no prices posted. The guy that runs the scale doesn't even address for customer.. He does his little deal, turns in your number without even saying a word to the customer regarding explaining the process, or the pay scale. Other than that friendly service.
Very friendly. Very helpful Very! Everytime I come in the guys are so nice to me. At first when I got my trailer and didn't no how to back it up they would always make it easy for me so I won't have to even try to back it up. They will get one of they fork lift and come get my metal for me. I tell you this I won't go anywhere else.
My first time there didn't know where to go or what to do. As soon as i pulled up, an employee walked out to my truck and told me where i needed to go. The lady at the scale was very polite and helpful. When i drove off the scale and drove to where i was told to unload, two workers walked up and helped me unload! Was very grateful for that. By far the best scrapyard I've been to. The staff are respectful, prompt to help, great attitudes and friendly! Thanks for the positive experience!! I will be back.
