  If you’re going to have “No Parking” signs and obviously strictly enforce them, maybe put signs on every single spot. Not scattered on every other entrance. Feels like entrapment to a certain degree. I’m not from this area, so I’m not constantly on the lookout for signs. You know why I don’t park in handicap spots? There’s a sign in front of that spot. Shoutout to the 2 dudes in the black Dodge Ram spotting for y’all too. Them waving at my pregnant wife as we waited for an answer on where our truck was towed was super nice of them. With all that being said about this shady business, the lady at the front was polite. 1/10 would not recommend.

  Not only do they tow people from places not clearly marked, they towed a vehicle with a disabled veteran license plate, handicap placard in the window, on the 4th of July. They are predatory and should be closed. Dishonest disgusting business.

  Do not use Safari towing. I called today and the Dispatch lady was extremely rude. She was talking to me like I was stupid. When I told her she was being rude, and I don’t understand why she told me she doesn’t know why I’m calling and don’t have any information ready. (I was in the process of looking up The information) The whole phone call only took two minutes. She didn’t give me any time to look up my information. In those two minutes, she belittled me and yelled at me. And after I asked to speak to a manager, she continued to yell, saying, I am a manager, and when I asked to speak to someone higher than her She told me no and hung up. Extremely unprofessional. The owner should definitely look into the way their managers Are running their business. I never once yelled, belittled her or talk down to her and the whole time she was yelling at me and treating me like I was stupid if I could give it zero stars, I would

  ABSOLUTELY THE MOST DISGUSTING TOWING SERVICE IVE EVER WITNESSED!!! THEY ARE USING SPOTTERS IN FRONT OF ALLEN PREMIUM OULET MALLS TO SNAG ANYONE THEY CAN WITHOUT EVEN HAVING PROPER SIGNAGE!!! It’s amazing they watched myself and my friend walk by their black dodge ram spotter truck and towed her car when they knew there wasn’t proper signage for the towing to actually happen let alone them breaking the texas laws by using spotters. When confronted about spotting the guy that answered the phone no more than 10 feet from myself and my friend he acted like he had no clue what we were talking about so you can guarantee the texas towing compliance legal team will be contacted about this abhorrent practice. The spotters are also driving around in a black dodge ram that has no front plate and expired registration conveniently shouldn’t they be towing themselves. As well as another tow truck has no front plate as well. Please see attached photos for reference. Beware when going to Allen premium outlet malls and make sure you can get an Uber and have towing money because they are making their money!!

  This company is the worst. They use spotters in the parking lot outside of Allen Premium outlets that call the tow truck drivers to tow your car, which is illegal in the state of Texas. There also isn’t proper signage through out the parking lot to let you know not to park there. As a woman that they saw walk away from the car I would expect that they would have cared enough to say something to us as if they had women or girls in their family they wouldn’t want this to happen to them where they are left stranded in a parking lot. They are horrible people and the way they run their business taking advantage of people during the Christmas season is absolutely disgusting. Oh they also drive around in a black dodge ram that has expired registration that is over a year expired and no front license plate. Only way I known this is I saw all them siting in the truck waiting for people to park so they could tow them. I have pictures to prove it! Other customers of the outlet mall that also got towed heard a tow truck driver say to one of the spotters: “we are making our money today!”

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the towing practices near: Stacy Plaza, 824 W. Stacy Road, Allen, TX. On December 1, 2024, I observed individuals, seemingly from the same family, hiding near the business area to call tow trucks as soon as people parked their cars and walked away. This appears to be a deliberate entrapment scheme, especially targeting shoppers during the Thanksgiving holiday week. Lack of Proper Signage: There were no visible signs indicating restricted parking or towing zones, which misled many drivers into parking their cars, only to have them towed away immediately. Immediate Towing: As soon as drivers left their cars, these individuals would call the towing company to tow the vehicles. Personal Experience: On December 1, 2024, I found my car had been towed. It took considerable time to locate the towing information and retrieve my car, costing me $335 plus the Uber fare. Entrapment: The absence of clear signage is a deliberate tactic to trap unsuspecting drivers. It is highly unlikely that thousands of people would make the same mistake; rather, they were being exploited during the busy holiday shopping period. This practice is unethical and takes advantage of people during a festive time. I hope this issue is addressed to prevent further exploitation of unsuspecting drivers.

  Shady business. This is what they do: 1. These Tow calling individuals seems to be hiding near the business area, specifically near Allen outlet malls, from where your cars were being towed away. They appeared to be from the same family. Usually you will see the signs in front of parking spots so that visitors get alarmed and take the cars somewhere else. But they intentionally did not put it so that drivers won’t notice it, park their cars, and they can get it towed away. This is called ENTRAPMENT. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE ?? NO, THEY WERE NOT. THEY WERE BEING TRAPPED TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SHOPPING WEEK. 2. They do not display proper signs indicating towing or restricted parking, with the intent to entrap unsuspecting people. 3. As soon as you walk away, they immediately call the towing company to have your car towed. 4. We witnessed this happening while waiting for an Uber to take us to our car, which these unscrupulous individuals had already towed. 5. This incident occurred on December 1, 2024. I bet they managed to tow away at least 100+ cars from the same business complex given it was a thanks giving holiday week. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE ?? NO, THEY WERE NOT. THEY WERE BEING TRAPPED TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SHOPPING WEEK. 6. After I did not see my car, it took a while to locate the tow away number and no parking signs where I had originally parked my car 7. I took the Uber and reached to their car tow away zone and got it in an hour. They charged me ONLY $335 + Uber !!!! 8. If you really do not want people to park across the street you would put some more signs right across the street in front of car parking spots so that it’s obvious and people won’t make honest mistakes. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE ?? NO, THEY WERE NOT. THEY WERE BEING TRAPPED TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SHOPPING WEEK. 9. Happy Thanksgiving !!   Horrible! This company should not be used for any reason. I wish I could give zero stars. Damaged my truck. Informed me that they would get it fixed, because “when you move so much metal things will get damaged.” I’ve been dealing with the owner, Jason, for over 2 months and NOW he is claiming THEY didn’t cause the damage. I’m going to have to take them to small claims court. HORRIBLE!

  No stars for this place. They towed my car from my apartment complex while I was recovering from Covid Pneumonia. By the time I found out my car had been towed, they told me I owed them $1000.00 ASAP and they planned to auction my car in a day or two. Scam artist criminals. I need my car to get to my doctor visits, but they don't care about that.

  My car was towed from my apartments even though it was registered and I was given this number to call to discuss. Things have been cleared up with another nice gentlemen, unfortunately whoever the supervisor was this morning around 10 is the reason for this 1 star review. Can’t remember his name, but he was so rude. Trying to pick a fight with me because I didn’t fully know the details of the other resident in the apartment car information, speaking to me like I’m his child saying things like “I didn’t ask you that” when I don’t answer a question the way he wanted. SO unprofessional, he deserves to lose his job whoever he was because you don’t run customer service like that. You have no business working for humans when you treat them like that. Edit: I’m keeping my review the same due the childish response I received that you all can read below yourselves. You all are unprofessional as well whether I got the right place or not. Y’all deserve this review too. I hope you can UNDERSTAND that. Maybe your number shouldn’t have been provided to me to retrieve property that YALL took. Please try it with somebody else.

  I used Safari to tow my sisters car a while back and April made it very easy as I was not local to my sister and was doing everything from another city she scheduled the tow and kept me well informed so I could also keep my sister well informed I kept Aprils number and have used Safari several times to tow my sister when need and would recommend Safari as a great service at a very reasonable price. My last tow was yesterday and again I couldn’t be happier with the service by April and the driver Tim who also did a great job. 5 star business.

  This place is horrible. When I called at 5:30 in the morning to see if they had towed my car the dispatch driver acting like he was asleep. The front office lady is the devil. She is extremely rude, hangs up on people that call to ask a simple question. You show up there to make sure you are at the correct location and she slams the door in your face. After reading the previous reviews, I see she does this same behavior many times previously. The response from owner on reviews are down right horrid. I am a small business owner myself and would NEVER condone one of my employees to behave this way to my customers. And most certainly not respond to a goole review in the way they have responded. Also, the excuses of referring negative reviews to a storage unit is down right absurd. All these negative reviews are for the towing company only! I will be reporting this establishment to the Better Business Bureau. I will also be notifying the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. Along with the Texas Secretary of State. This Safari Towing Company needs to be shut down RESPONSE TO OWNER! This is the DV car you towed when we had DV plates and 2 placards in the vehicle. My review is NOT on the storage unit in which you continue to try and claim on previous reviews and blaming a storage unit. You told my husband that your front desk evil lady is "Family". If I had family working at my business acting like and treating my customers in that manner they would be gone a long time ago, family or not! My Husband also records as you stated you record. My husband has all of her antics on video recording and her verbal derogatory language on recording as well. I am report you and your establishment today to the TDLR! To blame an innocent storage facility on your own companies behavior is insane!

  They are scammers, take everything they tell you with a grain of salt. I had my vehicle registered with my apartment and they said I didnt live in the complex, they would continue to say that my leasing office wouldnt be able to do anything. I went to my leasing office after I paid them 330$ to have my vehicle released. MY PROPERTY MANAGER said that my vehicle was registered and there was no reason for it to be towed. She had called Jason(I now believe he is the company owner although I had not met him or talked to him) and told me that my full amount will be refunded. Very shady business, make sure to call your property manager before doing business with these crooks as they will try to take your money for no reason, im sure if I didnt talk to my amazing property manager im sure these thieves would've gladly taken my money. Next time I will make sure to defend myself and my property! Update: I had just recieved a call from the lady who I spoke with on site that I should be "ashamed of my self". Be very careful dealing with this company, it seems like their systems are out dated and that they truely only care about getting the most money out of you. I hope no one has to go through what i went through, and if you unfortunately do then make sure you contact your property manager so they cant scam you. It is awful how such a company can just take advantage of whoever they would like. Update 2: when i say "They" I refer to the lady who handles phonecalls/payments, she was the only one I had contact with when I went there and the way she handles operations is extremely shady to say the least, she will straight up lie to your face, I will post more updates if anything else happens. I verified with my property manager once more that there was no reason my vehicle should've been towed in the first place, although with the way the lady treats this business I am scared that she will retaliate and my vehicle will once again be unlawfully towed. I hope this will be the last time i have to update this. Update 3: I spoke with Jason over the phone and he was able to refund the full amount, he was very professional and handled the issue quickly, it seems that unfortunately the lady whos at the actual location seems to just be a bad apple in the bunch. Im not sure if there is something happening in her life, i hope it gets better, but shes just a vile lady, avoid speaking to her at all costs, she will just give you a headache and lie to your face, then harass you. If you speak with Jason he will make sure to handle whatever your issue is quickly and professionally. I will bump my review up a little since Jason was so helpful, although unfortunately I cant give this business an amazing review as they illegally towed my car, then the entire situation with the vile lady, although Jason really helped me out and i will make sure to reach out to him and only him incase another issue occurs. As of right now I believe everything has been resolved.

  Great company with outstanding customer service. April was very helpful in getting me a fast & accurate quote to have my daughter's broken down car towed from a repair shop to my home quickly and safely. April even remembered to give me a call back when Tim was close to my house with the car as I had asked her to. Tim was outstanding I wanted the car in my driveway but felt that would have been too difficult for Tim to get done and take too much of his time. I think he took that as a challenge and got the car up into my driveway from the alley side and into a perfect spot. Thank you both for your excellent service. If I need another tow, these guys are the one's I will be calling!

  Not happy about why my vehicle was towed since it was a minor formality. But the employee at the tow lot Tim did everything that was in his power to do to help me and was very nice. Some people don't realize they can't do certain things no matter how much they want to cause it's not worth them losing there jobs.

  terrible people. will tow even if you register your vehicle. the lady at the window would not listen she basically made us stop talking so she could "help the people with actual appointments" there was one person who arrived after us and didn't have a problem waiting. also we called before just like we were supposed to so we also had an appointment. my car was registered for over 12 more hours when I went to the lot and found it missing. EDIT: The companies response is not true. there was no busy morning rush. there was one other person patiently waiting who arrived after us. The point is that your staff is rude and you have terrible service. your reactive response proves my point because what ur saying isn't even true and you are blaming me for YOUR TERRIBLE AND RUDE SERVICE...I am not responding again or removing my review. people NEED to know to expect your staff to snap and be rude and your company to operate on greed. bye.

  My daughter and I filled the car up with gas, then discovered it wouldn't start. Our first call was to Safari Towing. Our call was answered immediately by a knowledgeable professional. He asked a few questions and immediately knew what was the likely issue. We were given an ETA, encouraged to go inside the building for our short wait, and before we knew it Safari was there to save the day. He got us running, was able to show us the issue so we could resolve the issue ourselves with a few tools, and sent us in our way. Terrific service! Will always use them!

  First and foremost this company isn’t for the customer(s) at all. One of my cars was towed from apartment complex while I was out of town despite the company having enough information to know the car belonged to a resident who parked in visitors lot despite a letter or two being off with the tag information. I would have never known if my finance company did not reach out saying they received a certified letter regarding the vehicle being in towed. The company had zero intentions of calling my wife or myself after having all of our contact information, but they would rather delay the process so they can continue to collect daily impound fees in addition to send letters to address we no longer reside at. I attempted to reach out to the company several times to get details on how to get our truck back and unfortunately. I was hung up on intentionally 3 times by the lady who had a nasty approach from the beginning after changing the story several times on why they towed our truck. She refused to let me speak with a manager who obviously doesn’t care how customers are treated. After she was disrespectful to my wife and I she proceeds to send a text message to us with the payment options. Most definitely will be reporting this weird activity going on for personal gain. You do not prosper by treating people like this at all.

  This review is for the storage facility located at 2353 E. University Dr. In McKinney, TX. I had my car towed from an apartment complex due to me not registering. The signs to register were not visible, I feel, on purpose. I went to retrieve my vehicle and paid the ridiculous fee for my car being there less than 12 hours. My fiancé and I asked questions about the “fee sign” posted, and the clerk (Stephanie H.) threw a Karen fit and refused us service. She threatened to call the police so I did also. When they arrived, I was able to complete the necessary paperwork and she opened the gate so that I could get my vehicle. If she is a representation of this establishment, then it is racist, without a doubt.

  This is a horrible company. Towing might be a policy but the way you treat customers also matters. If you are charging over $300 for recovering a car from towing, I think you have the minimum responsibility to answer your customers who unfortunately got their cars towed by your company. It’s not wise of the company to abuse customers and hang up on them. Since you record calls, I’m going to sue this company for the verbal abuse I had to encounter. Hopeless and horrible process. The location is 2353 E university drive, McKinney, TX. If owners want to check the recording they should. I strongly encourage them to check and teach their staff to keep a check on their tone and language. Worst place ever. Wish I could give negative stars here.

Tim the owner was present as well to help with our unique situation and he was very knowledgable! Other 1 star reviews do not do this company justice, so take our advice if you want the job done right in a timely manner.

  I’ve known Tim for over 10 years. He’s a solid friend and business owner. People get upset they park illegally and come online to rate him a one star service after their vehicle has been impounded. Look at any parking enforcement company. They will never have a 5 star review. They service many management companies that are extremely happy with their parking enforcement. Let’s face it. Who wants to come home to an assigned parking spot for it to be taken by someone who does not belong there. But keep rating him 1 stars. Google will always rank him high in the search engines.

  What a professional service, called julia at the office she was very nice and professional, and within 30 minutes josh the truck driver came and towed my big truck , and he made sure the truck is %100 safe and he was very professional too ! Highly recommended

  We didn't get a truck at the estimated ETA we understand it's just an estimate and it comes from the insurance company who called the truck. When I called the company they said it'd be about 30 minutes and to be patient. It was Black Friday and unfortunately lots of cars problems and accidents were at the same time. But that's not safaris fault. They can't control traffic. We had already waited an hour and a half at that point and it was another hour and a half until the tow truck driver arrived. We were not upset about this. It's just a part of life. The driver was extremely friendly and courteous. He also tried to jump the battery before he loaded our car just to make sure it really needed a tow. We really really appreciated that. The service is good and they can't control how many cars break down in a night so we didn't mind waiting. Thank you for making a bad situation bearable :)
