A part of the Safeway/ Albertsons operations, reasonably upscale and have competitive prices to heb and Kroger's. This store has extensive wine selections.
Received flower arrangement for my birthday from my husband and daughter (they ordered through Ava’s Flowers, upon delivery the card showed the arrangement came from Market Street) it was about 1/4 of the size pictured and ordered. Cost was $97 and I could have gotten one at Kroger for much less and much better. The flower shop is a ripoff. It had a total of about 15 flowers when the picture showed about 50 flowers.
I took my family to Market Street today to get flu shots. We filled out the paperwork and was told that it would be about 20 minutes. My family stood in the waiting area while I went and picked up some groceries. I put the groceries in my car and went back to the pharmacy to wait with my family. 20 minutes later we were still waiting for flu shots. There was 2 people ahead of us and now there were 4 people behind us. So a total of 10 people in line at this point. Not one car came through the drive through and not one customer went up to the counter. I counted 5 employees in the pharmacy all staring at there. Imputed screens that could not be bothered to help anyone in the flu line. The pharmacy out of nowhere can up to me and my family and said, “I know you are upset that this is taking a while, but we are extremely busy. It is going to be a bit longer”. I asked, “ shouldn’t you take care of the customers that are actually in the pharmacy?” He proceeding to tell me that we could go somewhere else if we did not want to wait”. Which we did. I have never been treated so poorly while patiently waiting. The pharmacist was visibly angry so my wife suggested we just leave. Which we did. I have been shopping at Market Street since moving to Frisco 12 years ago. I will never step foot in another Market Street as long as I live.
Good morning! I come to pick up her order at market Street my order pick up time was for around 7:40 a.m. I arrived at the market Street location at 7:18 I sit here I called around 7:35 the older lady that answered the phone told me to order wasn't ready yet and that I would have to wait she was kind of snappy but I said okay and I let it go... So I called back when she told me to around 7:45 she goes off on me the order ain't supposed to be picked up until after 8:00 but it's almost ready somebody to bring it out I'm like okay ma'am click she hangs up in my face straight rudely for no reason ‼‼.. I spoke to Randy he said he would relate it to a supervisor but then he kept a conversation going with me like he was just going to blow it off and not say anything next time I will go live on social media for the slightest of rudeness/racism from these people again ‼‼
This place used to be great… friendly faces, quick service and quality quick meals.
Not the experience I just had today though… polar opposite in fact. I waited at the deli with the intent to order a panini for 5-10 minutes with zero service even though there were FOUR employees behind the counter. Zero acknowledgment, no “I’ll be with you in one second,” nothing at all…
Market Street had everything I was looking for, and I even found a little extra. Great customer service and the self-checkout was smooth and easy to use. Really nice shopping experience!
I am a regular customer and usually come in to buy bread baguettes, often with my children. I’ve repeatedly experienced cold, silent interactions at the cashier. We are not greeted, and our bread is often placed without a bag unless I ask — while other customers nearby are greeted warmly and treated with visible friendliness. This pattern has made my family and me feel unwelcome and overlooked. It’s painful to see different people treated differently by the same cashier. Everyone deserves fair, respectful service, regardless of their background. I hope you will consider addressing this issue seriously and provide your staff with proper training in customer service — particularly around unbiased, respectful communication.
Man, what a bummer of a trip to the Market Street deli today. The young man taking our order was rude, didn’t bag our four sandwich order (my husband had to do it), gave us stale tortilla chips instead of the deli chips because he didn’t want to open a new bag, and said we couldn’t have fruit because there “wasn’t any.” My husband walked around to where the packed fruit is sold and bought a container of prepackaged fruit. I think we were bothering him because he was sitting behind the counter (where we waited for a long time to be helped in the first place), drinking a soda. Yikes.
My favorite grocery store. Small town feel, friendly faces, great produce, great meats and desserts. I know where all my “go to” items are located and I drive 20minutes to shop here because it’s my preference of all grocery stores.
Very clean very nice grocery store. There’s a Starbucks in there. The butcher block have very fresh great looking meat selections. They have a lot of ready to go food in the deli and vegetable area. Reasonably priced.
I love Market Street! Today Seth a grocery bagger/cashier notice our watermelon was damage at checkout. He raced back to get us a better one. He then brought our groceries to our car, and carefully placed then so that nothing was squished or would fall over while driving home. I pass a Kroger, HEB and Costco to shop at Market Street weekly, because of the extra care and multiple open full service checkout lines. Excellent customer service. And to Seth, Great job young man.
There are lots of grocery stores in the North Texas area, but even though Market Street is further from my house than some of these, I drive it, because the staff is friendly, the store is clean, the prices are good, the shelves are stocked and are not as high so it’s easy to grab whatever I need. They have one of the most extensive Gluten Free aisles I’ve seen in standard grocery stores! I love the a2/a2 milk they carry, and that the bagger wheels out my groceries and puts them in my car after I check out.
Flowers for weddings can be very expensive. I did research on doing DIY from Costco or Sam’s and watched so many YouTube videos, but I did not feel confident with executing not just flower arrangement but also taking care of them and transporting them. Then, I requested a consultation at Market Street. I am so happy I chose Market Street for flowers for my wedding. The flowers were so fresh and the price was great. Jessica, the manager, was so accommodating for our needs and listened to our wants during the consultation. I did not want carnations, and she made sure to add a note in our proposal, which I appreciated! We brought our own bud vases for reception tables, so this saved a lot, and they looked beautiful. I added loose flowers for the Flower Welcome Box sign, and they turned out great! I requested garden roses, and they added a note that they substituted for ranunculus. It was so pretty! I plan to use Market Street for any future events, and I recommend Market Street Flowers for any needs for my friends and family. The Market Street Frisco team deserves a shoutout for their hard work!
We also did catering for lunch for our wedding party with the panini sandwiches and fruit platters and had some cookies for our dessert table, and they tasted great as well!
Came back for a quick visit & noticed more natural stuff, that's great, Thanks! Keep the natural stuff coming and you most likely will knock down a few competitors soon. Good food selection! Sure would be nice to not sell bioengineered ingredients in your foods like the breads and bakery but as long as you have organic & natural options I & the fam will keep coming back to shop. One of the younger guys about 15 years old, his name was Juda, rolled my cart out to help me with the groceries and definitely had excellent customer service skills and represented the store very well. Thanks for helping out and smiling spreading the positive vibes Will be back again to shop soon
Market street is always one of the best grocery chain in Texas. This store is clean and the store associates are courteous. Their bakery section is awesome and provides variety of products with tasty decorative cakes. Cakes are little bit pricey than Kroger. Ample parking outside and self checkout lanes not that busy. The store display for special occasions always brings attention. Halloween or Christmas displays are well decorated.

UPDATE Oct 2022: Back for a make-your-own salad again. And we left room for desert. We don't come to this location very often only because the one in Plano is closer. But today we wanted to get back here anyway. 2021:1st visit to this location for their super tasty (spicy) green chili chicken soup recommend by relatives and make-your-own salad. See photos. We had eaten many times at their Plano store but wanted a short road trip. Most customers just get the salad as take-out but we enjoy their eating area. Love the Coca-Cola beverage machines as one can mix/match a soda to taste. We will have to try another location and expect a great experience again. BTW: their plastic drink cups/lids can be recycled. I also like that one can get refills without having to get new cup/lid as some places require. Virus mitigation efforts in place so safe place to shop/eat.
Wow! What a fantastic grocery store, with a little bit of everything, restaurant, Starbucks, fresh local farm goods, fresh butcher meat, etc. Can't wait to go back. A friend recommended it. I purchased 9 sirloin steaks. I passed by Walmart and Kroger to get there, well worth the trip.
As always, Market Street goes above and beyond to serve the customer! They actually listen to feedback and stock more of the items when you notice they are running out quickly.
Great store, carries everything we need. Pleasant and helpful staff. Love the breakfast bar for breakfast burritos and biscuits with egg, sausage, cheese. Have used them also for group gatherings and parties. Not recently, of course, but in the past.
Shopping at market street is always a great experience. I love the fresco location. The employees are always so nice . And the service at the Deli counter is outstanding. And they always have the cutest seasonal decorations.
Completely in love with this location. Has fresh food and large selections of fresh grocery. Workers are nice and friendly. Best part...$1.29 for unleaded regular with Rewards! Can’t get better than that!!
Saw a negative review posted for the floral department. I had the exact opposite experience. I took this wooden box into the store a couple of days before a bridal shower. I told them what I wanted to spend and the type of flowers I liked and they created this beautiful arrangement. The bride told me it lasted for 2 weeks. Job well done.
this is an upscale boutique market. everything from the beef to the cereals are very good quality products. service is excellent as well. prices are fairly reasonable for such a nice place. traffic at tollway and eldorado can be a pain during rush hours.
