EXCELLANT! Really is the best word to use. I have used these guys for a while now from buying an Engine last year to many more orders of varying sizes and these guys always come through. Everything they have is described on thier website and thier terms are very clear. The engine I was super happy with and did my due diligence as they suggest to come look at it prior to purchase. They made it easy! The icing on the cake was just this week I bought a rather small item that most companies would lose upon removal. These guys had it and got it out to me quickly. UPS lost it so Texas Air Slavage shipped another one out to me so now I can fly my extended family around during the upcoming holiday! When I l recieve the original one I ordered I will happily send it back. Couldn't ask for greater guys (and ladies) out there!

I have been purchasing from these guys for years, I’ve spent thousands of dollars. Their customer service is absolutely spectacular! I cannot recommend them enough. I’ve been in the Flight instructing business for 40 years, currently running a school with five airplanes and all of them of course are old since nobody can afford new ones anymore and still be able to rent them at a reasonable price. Texas air salvage has kept us going amazingly!

I bought a Lycoming O-320-E2D for $14.7k from these guys and was told it was high time but ok to fly. The #1 cylinder had rust in the front where water had been pooling up on the front side of the cylinder. (Engine vertical, pointing nose down, like on a vertical engine stand) they told me that it was not the case and there was nothing they could do about it. After that, I avoided Texas air salvage unless they had something I couldn't find anywhere else. I recently bought a breather tube from them for $200 and when it did not fit the airplane, I was emailed that my RMA was denied. I was busy and didn't have time to install it until 3 months after the return window closed. I called to explain, but was met with rudeness and basically told to go pound sand. I don't know of any companies, mine included that do not offer some sort of good faith adjustment for instances like this. This is multiple times that I have had issues with this company that go unresolved, therefore I feel the need to share my experience. Edit... I was just contacted by TAS and yelled at over the phone. I was threatened with a retaliatory negative review for my business listing if I did not remove this review. I was told that he would leave me a negative review and when I get tired of looking at it then we could both remove the reviews. Poor poor customer relations.. Shame on this company....

I made a mistake on ordering something and they actually picked up the phone to call me to make it right. It was completely my mistake because I wasn't paying attention, but they made it right on their dime and that just means that I'll be back again and again and again. What a class operation

Got us the rare part we thought we needed quickly. Ended up finding a different solution locally. Returned item with no issue. Would recommend buying with confidence.

These folks are GREAT! I ordered a hard-to-find part late in the afternoon on Thursday for an AOG. They found the part, and got it out for overnight even after the normal pick-up time. It's Friday, less than 20 hours later, and the part is installed and working great! I can't say enough good. 10 stars if I can find a way to do it.

UPDATE: Texas Air Salvage told me in a subsequent email that I had 30 days to return this product. But their initial email clearly stated otherwise. BEWARE WHAT YOU ARE BUYING - COULD BE UNRETURNABLE GARBAGE I purchased a Hobbs meter from them. It was not in working condition when I received it. Simply, I put 12 volts on the "+" side and ground on the "-" side. The meter did not start. I asked to return it; was provided (by Stephanie, TAS Sales) the "Fine Print" that says "Items purchased from TAS are sold in "AS REMOVED" condition ( As removed from a salvaged aircraft, in "as is" condition and with all faults )".

I was shopping for an aircraft instrument for my grandson's dresser top as he recently completed ground school. I described a Gyro compass that looked good in the pictures but Stephanie and Cynthia went out of their way (during the big snow storm) to find an even better instrument to serve my purpose! It didn't make their company wealthy for sure but it reminded me of good ole' Texas customer care. I highly, highly recommend them! Tom Ferrell Sequim, WA

Cascade Aviation LLC ordered a part at the last minute on a Tuesday afternoon and Texas Air Salvage was more than accommodating in getting us our part by Wednesday morning. They claim you are responsible for return shipping if *they* damage your purchase in transit! If you take them to court you will win, but do you want the hassle? Avoid them, the bad reviews are real.

Worst experience of my life. They advertise online and I double check the availability over the phone for a specific wheel assembly 6" but instead they send me a different one 5". I know we are human and we all make mistake, but the problem is they don't want to take responsibility for their mistake. Finally to make matter worst they didn't want to reimburse me the money for the shipping charges both ways and have to take it to my credit card dispute department. Cintia is the worst customer orientated person. Hopefully this review help new customer to know what you are dealing with. Be careful...
