I have the highest praise for the recycling center. Its staff and ease of drop off are first rate. I only wish the hours were extended to at least 6 pm and all day Saturday. Perhaps give the staff Mondays off instead of Saturday. Otherwise, I am very pleased to have this service in our city and the smiles and appreciation of the staff make my day.
Recycling is easy and helps the environment. We all want clean water and air and land that is free of toxic material for our food. The employees at the center are always friendly and helpful.
Kudos to the City for providing this vital service. It is very easy to enter and exit. This is one of the few instances where one would not mind waiting in line ! However, sadly, very few people use this service and rarely have I seen another “environmenalist” waiting in in. Note: They only take products such as: paper, cardboard, plastics and aluminum cans.
The people at the recycling center are very nice. Also during this pandemic, they will keep there distance while you put the recycling in the bins. Very friendly, like Brownsville.
Kindest people ever.MAKE SURE AND CALL BEFORE HAND DURING COVID. HOURS MAY CHANGE. Since they do NOT take glass or magazines, use McAllen or Edinburg recycler. THEY TAKE EVERY SINGLE ITEM IMAGINABLE.
Makes recycling so much easier! Would love to be able to recycle more items like books. Nonetheless, the best option! Employees are respectful, helpful, and friendly! Keep recycling!
