On January 6 2025 I had a little accident with 1 of their trucks. Nothing major but it messed up my Front passenger quarter panel. Jeff and I talked and on a gentle man's agreement (handshake)he would fix my car. Long story short my car has never driven this good since I bought it. He went above and beyond what I expected. Thanks guys!!
J&M Towing: A Disgrace to the Industry
I was absolutely appalled by the predatory practices of J&M Towing. A local resident, I was charged a staggering $232 for a mere 7-mile tow! But the audacity doesn't stop there. Without any prior notification, I was hit with an additional $77 fee for the next day.
To add insult to injury, the company's customer service representatives were incredibly rude and dismissive. When I questioned the exorbitant charges, I was met with the excuse that "it's the state and police department that makes up these fines/fees." This is a blatant lie and a clear attempt to shift blame.
J&M Towing clearly prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. They take advantage of vulnerable individuals in unfortunate situations, treating them as mere dollar signs. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs.
i was in San Luis Pass on a trip about a month ago when my wrangler decides to give out. Not knowing what to do or who to call i decided to look up nearby towing companies. Thankfully i was able to reach J & M that day and the woman that was working in the dispatch was able to send Mike out to the rescue!!! this man is an absoulute lifesaver and is really a great guy! he is very careful and cautious with your vehicle and doesn't make you feel like you're a hassle like some drivers from other companies, Thanks to Mike i was able to get back to the hotel i was staying at and get myself situated! I strongly recommend J&M for your towing needs, and ask for Mike if you have a choice in driver. Thankyou again Mike!!!
After my truck was taken to their yard, we had to wait for the insurance payment to be processed. Once the payment was completed, the truck remained in the yard for an additional two weeks. When we were finally ready to pay and retrieve it, a person named Joshua decided tat the truck would not be released and would instead be auctioned. When I requested an invoice, I was told it would only be provided in person. Unfortunately, I was out of state at the time. Despite numerous attempts to reason with him, he ended the conversation abruptly, saying, "Have a good day," before hanging up.
I reached out to a nearby towing company for assistance. When they arrived with a check for payment, J&M refused to accept it. The towing company then had to return with cash. After a lot of effort, the truck was finally released.
I could not be more disappointed with the whole experience when local towing customers have been telling that J&M are very difficult.
I want to thank Mike from J&N motors, he helped me unlocked my car, got there quick and fast and unlocked it without a problem, a very nice and helpful guy.
Our company had one of our technicians work trucks with the keys locked inside and we needed it opened right away. This happened late at night and we needed the truck unlocked quickly so we could finish our job. Mike responded right away and arrived very quickly. He was really nice and made everything super easy. Thanks for your help!
Very quick response and friendly response. I've called on this company several times for a tow. In all occasions they've been very quick to make contact with me and provide adequate wrecker services. Highly recommend these guys!...
While I’m still waiting on 2 other companies to call me back, J&M gave me a quote right away over the phone, showed up in 2 hours and delivered our fifth wheel with no issues. Excellent service. We will definitely use again. Thanks so much

I wish I can give zero review to the Freeport tx location they really harassed my husband towed his truck for two miles for $450 then destroyed some mechanic issues and left him stranded for without fixing it and they were sooo rude

My car broke down in the turning lane in front of HEB. A young man named Brayden that works for J&M Wreckers got out of his vehicle to help me. it was 95 degrees, felt like 105, super humid .Brayden pushed my car to safety. I am sick with severe lung problems, I’m also not a skinny girl, and Braden insisted that I get in the vehicle and let him push all by himself, which he did. He was nothing but kind and respectful, genuine overall guy. I didn’t need to use JM today. But thanks to Braden. I will definitely be using them next time and referring them to everybody I know thank you again Brayden!! God bless 💯
I can't begin to tell you how pleased we are with the service we recvd from Dylan. One of the best experiences under the circumstances. Dylan was very helpful throughout the process, knowledgeable, quick to respond and my car was delivered to my driveway before I made it back home. Thank you again Dylan for helping Dad and I
I experienced prompt service at evening hours and 50 miles from my favored tire store. Driver (Steven) was very polite and professional. While I hope I don’t need wrecker service again soon, when I do

Jeff, cole and the crew are very much family oriented, which drew me to them. They are the best in the business when it comes to heavy hauling or rollback and wheel lift operations. Surgical with their equipment is the best way to describe the work scope at hand. I wouldn't use anyone else.
No complaints. Scheduled my tow a few days in advance and they arrived on time. (That means alot) The driver was friendly and super careful. I watched from my window as he paid extra attention in making sure the car was taken care of. He could tell that while the car was being lifted onto his trailer that the front end might scrape the concrete on the way up. He caught it and placed 2 large pieces of wood down to give the car more clearance. Completely satisfied with the service that I received.
Highly Recommend! Dylan towed my jeep this evening and left me with only positive things to say. Everything went smooth and Dylan is a real stand up, great guy!
I was hauling empty totes in the middle of the night when a strap came loose and they started flying off the trailer! I lost three of them in no time and was on that busy stretch between Angleton and Alvin, with traffic flying by. By the time I had turned around Dylan with J&M had pulled over and put his emergency lights on. When I stopped he helped me load them back on the trailer and I was back on the road in minutes. He wouldn't even take any cash from me either! J&M has a great driver who was paying attention and helped avoid a potential accident. If you want to use a company with good people call J&M
Dylan was very kind, helpful, & a complete gentleman. He jumpstarted my car for me & saved me the towing cost as well as the pain of dealing with a dealership. He even stuck around to make sure it ran well enough for me to get to AutoZone & get a new battery installed. I have only positive things to say about J&M’s wrecker service!

We were stranded in Eagle Lake Tx and our roadside service could not find any of the contracted companies who would be willing to pick us up due to late hour. I ask my roadside assistance company if I might look for someone out of network. I did a google search and found J and M Wrecker. Dylan answered the phone. I explained the situation regarding the roadside assistance. Dylan handled everything from the phone call to arrange payment, to vehicle recovery and transit from Eagle Lake to Clute. He was careful with the load and unload of the vehicle, professional in his interactions with roadside assistance folks, and a pure pleasure to travel for 2 hours in the middle of the night with. Dylan is 23 years old but much beyond his years in professional.
I was hauling my RV home and everything went well till I tried pulling in my moms driveway. Went half way in the ditch almost turning it over. We called J&M Wrecker Service and 2 great guys came out and saved me. I was devastated until they showed up. I thank them and they deserve a good tip which I under devastation didn't see straight and didn't give these great guys a deserving tip. I thank them and will give both of these guys a great tip. Thanks for your professional service. I would definitely call them again.
Fantastic service! Had them move a 40 foot container and a fireworks stand. Came out when asked and did the job great. Best prices around. Will definetly be using these guys for all of my work in the future!
Dylan was super helpful and understanding. He maintained great contact over the phone by letting me know when he was going to arrive, and even shed great insight into what was wrong with my vehicle. Saved me hundreds of dollars when i went to get it repaired. Very professional company. Don't buy all the bad reviews. They are a stand up group.
I wanted to give a kudos to your tow truck driver David Mack. He has helped us out twice and he is always very professional and polite. He knows what he is doing and very educated. He also was friendly with our children and was not rude in any manner. Thank you for having employees like him.
1 star is WAY too generous for this business but there is no option for 0 stars. The lady who works the counter and answers the telephone is very disrespectful and all she cares about is getting my money. Due to an accident my sister had her car was regretfully towed here. When it came time to receiving the vehicle I got NO help from the lady. All I wanted to do was visually inspect the vehicle to see if it was drivable. If so I could take the car and wouldn't need it towed to my home. You would think this small based company would be all about helping people out. This review is my outlet for the anger I have for this sorry, pathetic company. If my actions had no repercussions I would have handled things much differently but i'm not trying to break anymore laws these days. Save yourself the headache and frustration and go elsewhere.
