Praise God for a man like Mr. Mike!!! My son in law and grandkids were going to the store to get last minute New Years dinner items when their car broke down. Mike came to the rescue faster than a greyhound! He helped my daughter's family out and got them back home safely! That young man is a Saint and I will be recommending him to anyone and everyone
MIKE IS AN ABSOLUTE LIFESAVER!! My husband and kids were stranded at Kroger today when our car died and no other tow company answered their phone except for J&M! Mr. Mike came to the rescue and he was so QUICK!! He took the time to help my husband figure out what was happening with the car and that alone saved us HUNDREDS in mechanic diagnostic fees. If you need a tow call J&M and specifically ask for Mike because he is an amazing man, an absolute angel and a blessing!!
I had car issues at a daycare picking up my grandchildren. Stephen arrived within minutes. My car wouldn't go into dive, so he helped back it in to a location accessible for towing.
He suggested calling roadside to get reimbursed. So, I will indeed get reimbursed.
He was so helpful and courteous. J and M has my business for all towing needs.
I want to thank J&M towing for the service the provided they where extremely fast and the Driver Mike made me feel safe and cared about.he was professional and extreamly nice. Did I mention it was 1:00 in the morning! If I ever need a tow in or around Lake Jackson this is the tow company I will call. A week or so ago I had my truck stolen right out of my driveway. It was recovered the same day on the beach. J&M towing came out with their off road recovery vehicle and got it out. It was dead and in gear. J&M was the only tow company that could make it where the truck was left at. After getting it off, and getting it to the local Police Department I was made aware that there was a hole in the tailgate that wasn’t there upon the time and recovery. I didn’t think much of it because I was convinced my truck was toast. The next day one of their drivers got it to the dealership for me and had advised the company knew about the damage. The same day Josh called me and said if everything on my truck checked out they would fully replace it at no cost to me. With it being found in the spot it was in I’m fairly certain that this was unavoidable. Josh had asked if I could wait a few days because the owners were out of town which I had no issue with. I received a phone call this morning from the owner him self. The owner advised me he was working diligently on getting it fixed and back to me.
I just want to say how professional these guys are and how honest they were about the damage caused. I am more than willing to work with them Because of their honesty and integrity. This company’s word is as good as gold.

Car was parked at apartments in lake Jackson for less than 12 hours they towed my car and it was less than 5 miles from location within the same hour pick up and they charged me $300 also when I got there their credit card / debit card machine was down so cash only do not recommend.
On January 6 2025 I had a little accident with 1 of their trucks. Nothing major but it messed up my Front passenger quarter panel. Jeff and I talked and on a gentle man's agreement (handshake)he would fix my car. Long story short my car has never driven this good since I bought it. He went above and beyond what I expected. Thanks guys!!
I was absolutely appalled by the predatory practices of J&M Towing. A local resident, I was charged a staggering $232 for a mere 7-mile tow! But the audacity doesn't stop there. Without any prior notification, I was hit with an additional $77 fee for the next day.
To add insult to injury, the company's customer service representatives were incredibly rude and dismissive. When I questioned the exorbitant charges, I was met with the excuse that "it's the state and police department that makes up these fines/fees." This is a blatant lie and a clear attempt to shift blame.
J&M Towing clearly prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. They take advantage of vulnerable individuals in unfortunate situations, treating them as mere dollar signs. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs.
i was in San Luis Pass on a trip about a month ago when my wrangler decides to give out. Not knowing what to do or who to call i decided to look up nearby towing companies. Thankfully i was able to reach J & M that day and the woman that was working in the dispatch was able to send Mike out to the rescue!!! this man is an absoulute lifesaver and is really a great guy! he is very careful and cautious with your vehicle and doesn't make you feel like you're a hassle like some drivers from other companies, Thanks to Mike i was able to get back to the hotel i was staying at and get myself situated! I strongly recommend J&M for your towing needs, and ask for Mike if you have a choice in driver. Thankyou again Mike!!!
After my truck was taken to their yard, we had to wait for the insurance payment to be processed. Once the payment was completed, the truck remained in the yard for an additional two weeks. When we were finally ready to pay and retrieve it, a person named Joshua decided tat the truck would not be released and would instead be auctioned. When I requested an invoice, I was told it would only be provided in person. Unfortunately, I was out of state at the time. Despite numerous attempts to reason with him, he ended the conversation abruptly, saying, "Have a good day," before hanging up.
I reached out to a nearby towing company for assistance. When they arrived with a check for payment, J&M refused to accept it. The towing company then had to return with cash. After a lot of effort, the truck was finally released.
I could not be more disappointed with the whole experience when local towing customers have been telling that J&M are very difficult.
Our company had one of our technicians work trucks with the keys locked inside and we needed it opened right away. This happened late at night and we needed the truck unlocked quickly so we could finish our job. Mike responded right away and arrived very quickly. He was really nice and made everything super easy. Very quick response and friendly response. I've called on this company several times for a tow. In all occasions they've been very quick to make contact with me and provide adequate wrecker services. Highly recommend these guys!...
While I’m still waiting on 2 other companies to call me back, J&M gave me a quote right away over the phone, showed up in 2 hours and delivered our fifth wheel with no issues. Excellent service. We will definitely use again. Thanks so much
My car broke down in the turning lane in front of HEB. A young man named Brayden that works for J&M Wreckers got out of his vehicle to help me. it was 95 degrees, felt like 105, super humid .Brayden pushed my car to safety. I am sick with severe lung problems, I’m also not a skinny girl, and Braden insisted that I get in the vehicle and let him push all by himself, which he did. He was nothing but kind and respectful, genuine overall guy. I didn’t need to use JM today. But thanks to Braden. I will definitely be using them next time and referring them to everybody I know thank you again Brayden!! God bless
I can't begin to tell you how pleased we are with the service we recvd from Dylan. One of the best experiences under the circumstances. I experienced prompt service at evening hours and 50 miles from my favored tire store. Driver (Steven) was very polite and professional. While I hope I don’t need wrecker service again soon, when I do I’ll be calling J&M again. Top notch !!
My daughter locked herself out of her truck on surfside Beach and Dylan went above and beyond to help us out, walking over sand duns and everything to get to her. Great guy and was there super fast ...AMAZING guy!
Jeff, cole and the crew are very much family oriented, which drew me to them. They are the best in the business when it comes to heavy hauling or rollback and wheel lift operations. Surgical with their equipment is the best way to describe the work scope at hand. I wouldn't use anyone else.
No complaints. Scheduled my tow a few days in advance and they arrived on time. (That means alot) The driver was friendly and super careful. I watched from my window as he paid extra attention in making sure the car was taken care of. He could tell that while the car was being lifted onto his trailer that the front end might scrape the concrete on the way up. He caught it and placed 2 large pieces of wood down to give the car more clearance. Completely satisfied with the service that I received.
I was hauling empty totes in the middle of the night when a strap came loose and they started flying off the trailer! I lost three of them in no time and was on that busy stretch between Angleton and Alvin, with traffic flying by. By the time I had turned around Dylan with J&M had pulled over and put his emergency lights on. When I stopped he helped me load them back on the trailer and I was back on the road in minutes. He wouldn't even take any cash from me either! J&M has a great driver who was paying attention and helped avoid a potential accident. If you want to use a company with good people call J&M
I was hauling my RV home and everything went well till I tried pulling in my moms driveway. Went half way in the ditch almost turning it over. We called J&M Wrecker Service and 2 great guys came out and saved me. I was devastated until they showed up. I thank them and they deserve a good tip which I under devastation didn't see straight and didn't give these great guys a deserving tip. I thank them and will give both of these guys a great tip. Thanks for your professional service. I would definitely call them again.
Dylan was super helpful and understanding. He maintained great contact over the phone by letting me know when he was going to arrive, and even shed great insight into what was wrong with my vehicle. Saved me hundreds of dollars when i went to get it repaired. Very professional company. Don't buy all the bad reviews. They are a stand up group.
1 star is WAY too generous for this business but there is no option for 0 stars. The lady who works the counter and answers the telephone is very disrespectful and all she cares about is getting my money. Due to an accident my sister had her car was regretfully towed here. When it came time to receiving the vehicle I got NO help from the lady. All I wanted to do was visually inspect the vehicle to see if it was drivable. If so I could take the car and wouldn't need it towed to my home. You would think this small based company would be all about helping people out. This review is my outlet for the anger I have for this sorry, pathetic company. If my actions had no repercussions I would have handled things much differently but i'm not trying to break anymore laws these days. Save yourself the headache and frustration and go elsewhere.
