Was on my way to A&M from Austin and my engine overheated and had to pull over in a pretty remote area by Lincoln. I called lonestar towing and they got to me pretty fast and got my car to a dealership in Austin within an hour and half being already an hour away from Austin. It was my first time getting broken down/ towed and the experience was seamless and extremely safe. Ron is extremely helpful and friendly and would recommend him and Lonestar towing to anyone!
Had a flat tire. They were super fast to respond? friendly and arrived quicker than quoted. My only complaint is the job wasn’t finished. He changed our tire but said he didn’t have an air compressor to fill it. Thankfully we had one but what if we didn’t. I would have thought that was part of the service when you changed a flat tire.
Armando was very friendly and professional. He was here when he said he would be and was s very knowledgeable. He also gave me a discount for being a veteran! Thank you so much for all the help!
Whoever is driving rn on 71 towards Bastrop driving wreckless trying to pass me. Irresponsible and bad representation of the business to allow the speeding and reckless driving almost causing a accident on the highway.
In a very stressful situation the service was easy to schedule and response time was fast along with updates. Ron was nice and helped out with my car situation. Thank you for bringing my car back to me.
Lonestar Towing did nothing to demonstrate fairness and consideration and did everything they could to try and nickel and dime me even trying to charge me and extra $125 to move my car 25 feet out of their small fenced in area. Rude, obnoxious and inconsiderate- God help you if your car is towed by Lonestar….. plan on grabbing your ankles and brace yourself….by the way.
The company’s response to my poor rating is absolutely false. Further proof that they will say whatever to defend their horrendous customer service. I am a professional and absolutely did not curse or demand anything. Classic case of attacking the victim…..
Absolutely first rate professionals! Alonzo showed up with a beautiful clean rig to pick up my 65 Nova...he babied her through entire process. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous..The ONLY tow company I will use from now on.
Called to ask for a quote to see if I was going to have them come and get me they said that he’s not giving out any quoies and he’s going back to bed. I feel like that was very unprofessional and I feel like I was denied service.
Poor customer service I had put in a claim with my insurance company to have my car towed yesterday on 9/6 around 12pm with this company, not only was the staff member rude to me but also to 2 other representatives with my insurance company because they claimed they didn't recieve a work order, when my representative confirmed that they did twice, we waited over a hour and a half just to find out they were not coming after the second call/check-in, I understand if someone is having a bad day but you shouldn't have taken it out on your customers, it's ok though Danny's Texas Pride and Automotive was there to help not only did they arrive in 10mins instead of the hour wait time, they were extremely polite and very helpful, I dont know who's in charge of this company but you need to get your staff together
Service was really easy to schedule. Very quick response time. Appreciated being kept up to date throughout the process. Alonzo arrived sooner than expected. He was very professional and respectful. Will highly recommend this service to anyone.
If you are looking for a tow company. Use these guys. Ron and Alonzo are without a shadow of a doubt the most amazing tow drivers I have ever had the pleasure of having my truck moved around by. They have a big flat bed truck and we're able to pick up my 08 F-150 as if it were a Dodge Avenger. I have used them for a while now and I am not joking when I say it is always a pleasure..... Not gonna lie it sucks to have your vehicle towed anywhere.... But knowing my babies are in good hands is always such a relief!!!! Use these guys if you need something moved the same day!!!
Kind of expensive but the guy was extremely nice and helpful with our car. They will drive far distances, so they were pretty quick considering they drove in from Round Rock. Thank you Ron!
Hate to need a tow truck company but Lonestar has been my go to towing company. I’ve had the same driver twice now and he’s been extremely courteous and responsive. I highly highly recommend Lonestar if you’re in need of help. Thank yall.
Waited hours for another wrecker service to show, and they never did. 20 minutes after being dispatched, I received a phone call they were coming and arrived in less time than they quoted. Very unfriendly, not willing to be carrying at all, staff. The lot I was next to did say towing, but I was parked next to w what looked like separately attached parking spots that were unmarked and contracted to a completely different business. I had told him that my husband was a firefighter and was currently at work and could not get home for 2 days, and I had no other car seat. And asked if there was a way to at least bring back the car seat so I'd have a way to get to them to pay to get it out of impound. I wasn't even asking for my car back and they told me they didn't care and it wasn't their problem. They towed my car with in 10 minutes of me parking in that spot. When I was there there was also another disgruntled gentleman that was extremely frustrated and claimed that they had towed his vehicle in a place that was also not marked as tow away as well. I had to have a pregnant stranger drive me to them, and my mother had to stay with my toddler. It was also an outrageous price of $300. To which they added a $10 convenience fee. Like it's not convenient enough to make $300 for two hours of it being impounded?

Absolutely the worst towing experience I've ever had. Lonestar Towing was not only unprofessional but also downright rude. They showed up hours late, damaged my car during the tow, and then overcharged me for their shoddy service. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of other reputable towing services out there who will actually value your business and treat your vehicle with respect.
I called up for an emergency tire change I got a flat and got stranded in a.Gas station a hundred miles away from home, call asking for some service’s for a spare tire change Driver was very rude and hateful on the phone with me he hung up on my face , do not recommend at all
Ronald was very kind and professional. Did not mind giving a young buck some much needed advice/guidance. I didn't know where to take my car because I don't know the area, and my trust in him was rewarded with an experience that made me feel like family. 10/10 will come back to Lonestar if I'm in need, especially if everyone is anything like Ron.
I was a first time customer, and I can’t even express how grateful I am for this company. My daughter and I and I need immediate assistance for our vehicle and the owner Bobby and Driver Ron were so very helpful and quick. The property I broke down at was very upset and was not kind and I will forever be thankful for this tow company. Definitely recommend!! 10/10 price was more than affordable!
We were two hours into our great Texas road trip when we blew out all our transmission fluid on Hwy 71. We pulled into the median as the truck just quit. Vehicles were whizzing by us at an insane pace. To say we were terrified is an understatement.
I called Lonestar Towing & Recovery, and it was like a literal angel came to save us! Fifteen minutes later, here comes Ron with flashing lights to tow us to safety. He recommended an honest mechanic (Brian @ The Auto Shop) where we dropped off our truck, then he drove us to Lost Pines Toyota Rental where we rented a vehicle and continued our vacation with only a few hours delay!
We spent the rest of our trip thanking God that we broke down in what was the best possible scenario. We called who is obviously the best wrecker driver in the state (see ALL the previous reviews) and, possibly, the entire country!

AAA failed us, 90 minutes, turns into 4 hrs, to call us and say they don't have a truck big enough. Now i call back, they have no one in service area. Call Lonestar towing and get Ron. ON POINT. ON TIME. Profesional service. Mechanic got a looksee and didn't have proper equipment to fix us. Ron knew where to go. Got us there, talked with the man, and we are getting fixed. We would definitely use Lonestar Towing again. They arrived in less than 30 minutes. The driver was very friendly and professional and got the job done quickly.
Do not use their services! We took it out the same day Charged us +400, and added stuff they didn’t even do. the least we expected them to do was have patience while taking it out but instead they hurried us and told us to finish up outside because they had to go. other places are more professional and do more for way less money. Do not recommend!!!!
When my Jeep check engine light came on the NICEST men came to get her! Ron is just AWESOME and super friendly!!! They were careful with my girl (Jeep Lilly). Hopefully I won’t need the service again, but if I do, I will definitely call them again!!
