The guys working were nice and professional but there was only 1 guy and a trainee working so I was there for 2 hours before they got to me when there were only 4 others ahead of me.
For a place called "Take 5" they take a ridiculously long time to do anything. With 4 cars in front of me I sat for over 2 hours to get an oil change! October 16, 2025 came in at 9:00am on the dot and was not tended to until 11:02! This is absurd and ridiculous. No discount, no apology for the wait, just take your up charged oil and deal with it. Never going back.
Very polite. They need another person on their crew. All 3 bays were full with one guy. One car left after a long wait. Zach was very knowledgeable, informative.
Went to Take 5, Texarkana, Richmond road location. Nerdy looking guy with glasses was the coolest cat and even upsold me with ease while educating me on the ones and twos pertaining to my service.
Difficult, My AC was out in my vehicle, I ask an employee if I could Waite in the waiting room while they changed my oil, he replied that the waiting room was now the brake room for employees. I will not be coming back.
Fast, super polite, and honest. As a widow, I’ve been taken advantage of when getting my oil changed - workers trying to convince me of things I didn’t need, but the employees here were very honest about what I didn’t need. They were training a new employee who was eager to learn and was very personable. I wish I had gotten her name. Great job - will definitely be back!
I’ve been coming here since I was 17 and I’ve never been disappointed. Today I received an alert on my car telling me I needed an oil maintenance soon but I was extremely worried considering I just got an oil change last month so I went to the location, explained what’s going on and come to find out it was just due to the past person forgetting to reset the settings in my car after completion. They showed me my fresh oil, clean filter and they were so nice and understanding like always!
First time they didn’t have the part and told me to come back on Saturday . I came back Saturday and sent me all the way to the other store. But they do get it done quickly and get you out in a timely manner.
Felt like family warm welcome and even offered water. Everyone I encountered that day were professional, kind and knowledgeable! Myron and the lead guy ensured my oil was clean and gave me an update on what may need attention or soon. I will return! Thank you

Jaylen was awesome. She talked me through the process of the techs, The manager spoke and it was a team effort, they really check all my fluids,air in my tires, and filter. They made me feel so comfortable and I didn't have to leave my car, I recommend everyone to try this location. And I saved $60 instead of going to the dealers,
I’m disabled so I had my inexperienced young son take my car in for an oil change. I purchased a Groupon for a discount, but he was overcharged big time. When I called while he was still there, they were very rude and unhelpful, told me “Oh well”. I ended up being charged triple the amount an oil change should be. The way they treated me as a disabled woman and took advantage of my son was completely disrespectful. I will never go back again.”
Mr. Ted and Ms. Jaelyn are amazing!!! I came in with my Cadillac Ct5 for a full service oil change early this morning! Yup, the early bird gets the prize ...I must say I was very pleased with the service!!!! Greeted very professionally and with a bottle of water!!!! First impressions are lasting and I'll definitely be back!!! Speedy service, was able to stay in my car while work was done, no complaints at all!!!!! You guys are amazing!!! Took about 20 minutes total and throughly checked everything!!!! Quality service and fair price, oh and I was able to use a $10 coupon that Mr. Ted suggested!! I love this place!!!! The fact that they take the time to explain everything before they touch any part of your car and suggest recommendations for next time!!
Big Thumbs up to Take 5 Richmond Road where honesty and professionalism is alive and well in Texarkana. Honesty. My oil change light came on driving back to Brooklyn from Dallas. I was shocked since I had changed oil before the trip. Stopped at Take 5 and Ted greeted me with a bottle of water. While we negotiated service options, I explained that I had recently done an old change. Immediately, he popped the hood, checked the dipstick and told me my oil was fine, I only needed a computer reset. Professionalism. The computer was reset, the windshield was cleaned, the tire pressure was checked and I was wished a safe trip. Thank you for being a Texan to a New Yorker ...
Had a very great experience. The service manager was very very helpful and explained a lot of things that they were checking and what needed to be serviced that I wasn’t aware of. Only thing that was not done was washer fluid said filled but drove off with service light still on to add fluid but over all it was a great experience and service from all were very professional. Thanks Take 5!!
I waited in the bay (not in line) over 45 minutes before they started on my vehicle. Once started, service was quick and the gentlemen were all respectful and professional. They did try to upsell several services, but I'm sure this is company policy and not a flaw of the service individual. Service was top notch, the 3 star is because of the extremely long wait. Take 5 is a bit of a misnomer when your visit takes an hour.
Not at all a 10 minute oil change. Was told to pull in the first bay at 10:34am. Waited in the first bay until 11:03am finally someone came to my vehicle.
Overall satisfied. Crew was great. I have several vehicles that come here. I will return just not a good time for a fast oil change when I came in.

Waited for over a hour for a vehicle that was in the middle of a change when I pulled up and was there for about a total of and hour and a half for the one vehicle to finish up and my oil change. Everyone was nice just took a long time. I called ahead of time and the lady sent me a coupon which was really nice.
Take 5 did an amazing job on flushing my radiator and changing my oil! They were very nice and hospitable.. I love to go there and to be able to sit in my vehicle while I wait. Great service and great customer care..
I went there today for the first time. This lady right here was super respectful. Yes ma'am, no ma'am. She explained everything and showed me my air filter needed to be changed. Even offered me a bottle of cold water in this 102°F heat.
