When our car was towed there they stole all of our belongings and swapped out our battery with a dead one. If they would have sold it, the buyer would have had a dead car 2 days later. Very unprofessional.
This would be a gravy job if everyone DID their job! They get hired, and figure out how to hide or NOT do the job.....
They just meander around without moving the vehicles to the proper location, hide in the bathroom, try to get other people to do their job...
I dropped off a vehicle and picked up another vehicle. Once you become familiar with the process it becomes easier. The staff was very helpful if you have any questions.
This Aution has horrible hours
Hard to deliver. On Friday they close at 1pm and close all weekend. After covid no one wants to work anymore
People got lazy .
Nasty attitude from the lady who picks up the phone... Telling me to calm down when i have not raised my voice or done anything wrong and the only thing i was doing was telling her the issue. Kept cutting me off as if i was her enemy.I Have never before spoken to this lady
I bought a Truck from this auction and never get my title, Keep calling them Title person not answer phone and can not leave a massage. I bought vehicles from all American Auto Auctions , San Antonio is the worst . When GM Brandon Walston dose not care it repels down .
Auctioneers are selling at Retail instead of Wholesale since America's took over. Manheim has better selection as well as competitive prices. Save your trip and energy
I flew down to San Antonio from Dallas to pick up a truck. I get here at 9am and they tell me that I have to wait until the auction is over which is 11 before I can get out the gate. I feel they should have the exit gate away from the sale barn. Who ever come up with that suggestion should be fired. I understand you need rules but this is ludicrous. I have a five hour drive ahead of me and just got two hours of wait time added on.
I got the chance to purchase on a public auction some vehicles, ALL the staff from the very first phone call to my last guy help with the gate pass were just amazing. Very professional, fast, helpful, overall great experience!!
A couple of weeks ago I visited this auto auction for the first time. The two who helped us swap out our three fleet vehicles with the new ones were awesome!! Jo Ann was the lady inside and Brandon helped us outside. What a great team!! I hope that next time I have to do business with the San Antonio Auto auction these two help me out then too!
Don’t let the Bible verses on the door confuse you. The ownership is a very unethical bunch. After years of business I’ve learned they enjoy dragging customers out to dry. Go to a real auction house and avoid this place.
Mikey is a great help! Had a few cars to find and he walked down with me twice even carrying the jump box for me which is unheard of!! As a car hauler people run from us like we have covid because we often need help retrieving the vehicles but the people here are just different!!!
I have bought from this auction many times through their simulcast but visited for the first time in person. Getting a bidder badge was a breeze. The staff is friendly enough. Their facilities are nice and clean. They have their business center available for dealers which is very useful. Only minor complaint is they should have their gate hours open a bit longer on Fridays. I still feel they merit a 5 star rating.
Horrible customer service they do not call you back i did a PSI on a vehicle it did not pass they made me take it anyway with the insinuation to get me banned from all auctions when I got home i had it rechecked and found out the problem it had would not show check engine and when I called to inform them well they don't call back or answer calls the owner doesn't return calls I have left messages. Brandon is very rude Ashley wont return calls and this auction has the worst customer service .. They have christian sayings all over the walls but when something goes down the horns appear.. They took all the negative comments off of the San Antonio Auto Auction FB and took off the icon to leave reviews,, I wonder why........
Great no Joann went out of her job to get my truck I was early there no yard guys it little before 7-45 and she got my paper work drove me to get my truck thank Joann, from diesel depot Dave the driver
SAAA for a small dealership is absolutely the worst experience we have ever had. Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with these people, PSI is simply a joke and not worth a penny. Buyer be ware should be their tagline. After purchasing a 2015 Chevy and paying for PSI the truck shows up with check engine light and oil gushing out of the bottom. Three days chasing Renea the arbitration manager around we got frustrated and contacted the GM. Again he tells us that the two cars we purchased do not meet their arbitration policy.While reading the email I almost slipped in the large puddle of oil left by their truck. Stay away!!! If you are buying online from SAAA DON'T DO IT!!!!!!
The best way I can describe the folks at Sparkling City, San Antonio, is Professional. They do a great job in a difficult industry and are some of the nicest and warmest people I have ever dealt with. Its all about personal service - and integrity - and these folks have both in spades.
