Never really “sold” any scrap metal before so I was new to the whole process of taking and sorting the different metals. It was very helpful that they were open on a Saturday. They explained I could take some of my stuff inside in order to scrap it for better pay. Thank you all for everything!
they refused to take my scrap but they took AC units whole bunch of other stuff but they denied me when I had a full truck bed of mixed metal and it seems unorganized
The young ladies Monica and Nelly are very friendly and polite. The staff that deals with the metals are also very helpful! Highly recommend this place.
I took in some scrap from storm damage. Literally no signs or directions explaining what to do/where to go etc. No guides etc spoke English. This place is a literal dump. We were guided to drive over/through nails, bolts, and 10" of mud. Clearly, a bit of planning and organization could help present a better public image. I would probably try another place next time.

10/29/2022 quick and easy thats because it was busy but was in and out unloaded 800 lbs of metal with the help of a guide and went in for my ticket and lucky me i getva delicious fresh personal pizza and yes be careful with were they tell you to park its a scrap yard and its up to the driver to inspect were your vehicle will go in and always ask the personell about what prices on your metals they will tell you its all one price or different i always ask if im unsure
VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE Went to sell 4 big water heaters got 28$ and ruined my tire with a big piece of metal where they told me to back up and right away they tell me they are not responsible, They should at least have it safe for the vehicles that take them business. They don't care about it. After reading their response I called them to see if it's true on what they wrote. Herman,I guess the manager, told me that he had called the owner and the owner never got back to him. But I got a response with in minutes of posting a review from the owner.Herman then told me to write what ever I wanted . Just like I first wrote down THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS SERVICE and they DID NOT COMPENSATE ME FOR MY TIRE and I was looking for a used tire
As of today I did had a great review and experience but no longer sadly to say I have been a customer for years practically I would go twice a month to sell the scrap metal and always staff was helpful nice and a great attitude. I would recommend customers to Alamo Metal for business. That change today 6/4/2022 due to the fact when I got there to sell the metal I had a truck load full of scrap. I had fencing material and of course scrap I went to weight and then re-weight went to collect for the amount that I was supposed get ended it up getting half the amount that I was supposed to collect because the fence material is considered different weight and price and that's because I would practically call almost every day to find out what materials they buy and for how much not only that because it was all mixed up in the same load, fencing on top scrap on the bottom all there was needed to say way fencing first then scrap. Then to top it off I asked questions to the secretary started getting an attitude never had any issues with personnel and as an extra comment had a chat I guess with the foreman an told me that they buy metals on classification. Yeah! from full price to half off absolutely outrageous!
Always treated nice by these girls work in the office. Customer service is what bringing me back to this place. Thank you for good prices and excellent customer service.

I loved my experience here. I felt so at home while I was there. I’ve been to so many places all over the valley to recycle, but have never liked one like I loved this one. I recommend it to anyone who doesn’t know where to recycle at first. My experience overall was just amazing I will definitely go back and give them more business. The owner was so nice and welcoming to me when I got there.
Good prices. Fair scales. They accept many types. Batteries, electric motors, aluminum, steel. Most places like this are hard on your tires. This place is clean of debris so, it's tire safe. Easy on and off scales. Some places you can't hardly turn around. Friendly staff. They will help you unload and give great direction.
