On the morning of 5/17/2025 at 04:45 am (CST) MY purge valve messed up and my company called Wards Towing. I mist say im sorry i didnt get the drivers name but he was extremly friendly and helpful and didnt mind answering questions. I want too give 10 stars too the driver him self for the profressionalism he had i would reccomend this company too any one....

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I doon't have my receipt with the gentleman's name that helped me 2 weeks ago. Dec 14th, 3:10a.m.m, my Avis rental-EV battery died before I could make it to the charging station at Buc-ee's across the highway. I found Ward's Towing on Google Search, Thank GOD! I requested a tow servic, then called Temple PD and requestedcivill service... traffic control to keep us safe from passing traffic possible collision. I'll have to update upon return home...so much to say! Absolutely amazing! More 2 come!!!
I was in an accident right before Thanksgiving and wasn't sure how I was going to be able to retrieve my things from my work van. I went first day and it was slightly past when they'd already closed and there were 2 gentlemen that had stayed and helped me get medication and oxygen machine from back of van,very much needed help and they had no problem helping out. Came back couple days later and they had moved my work van to make it more accessible for me too. I'm getting my stuff out and load it in the my vehicle. Thanks again for all the help you guys are awesome.
Money sharks! I run over a mattress on I-35 with my Box Truck and lost my brakes. I was only 1.4 miles from Loves truck stop. Ward's towing refused to tow my truck there. Charged me $2587.08 for towing my truck to their yard. Didn't even give me their info. I was googling them where to find my truck in the morning. When I wanted to pay by Debit Card they said CC machine is broken. They wanted payment by Cashapp or Cash. I called Uber and I went to bank for cash. So guys wisely choose a towing around here and be aware of their extremely high charges. Paid other towing $500 to tow me to Jarel TX for repairs.
They towed our truck, only ones that had acces to the vehicle, when we got it home we realized they'd stolen tools, rings and even our phone charger. When asked about the items they were extremely rude and did not care. 1 star is too high

Honestly this was my first towing experience and while we did have a hiccup, these guys were incredible to work with. They got me off the left lane of 35 as quickly as it took them to drive to me. Picked up me and my pug and took us to Firestone. We had an issue along the way but the owner and son did everything they could to make it right and they are genuinely great people. Dealing with kind and honest people like this really make the most stressful situations better.
Just like it said first impression will be the lasting impression. I was picking a vehicle. This company doesn’t offer the smallest customer service. Upon entering I was rushed to hurry because I was blocking a driveway that. The whole time he was to release the vehicle. I would reject any cars to pickup from this place. Lasting impression is unprofessional and rude.
We were an hour away from temple when our work truck broke down, Nick from Ward's Towing came and got the truck loaded quickly and got us back home safely. He was very friendly and professional. I'd recommend them for any towing needs. Thank you.
One star is definitely appropriate. The his or worse. Do not call this company. No compassion at all. They say veteran friendly but they are not. The driver Derek needs an attitude adjustment. He also needs to learn respect.
Garbage customer service. Was not informed that I have to have insurance call and release my truck to be able to be taken to the repair facility. They do this so they can make more money off of the storage of your vehicle. Do not use.
Used this company several times in the past, called to have same vehicle moved to same place as before and price was over double what i had paid previously. Very inconsistent on pricing. Would not recommend.
We had two flats traveling back up north to Dallas, Nick the driver came and picked us up and took us to the tire shop said he wouldn’t leave us until he knew the tire place for sure could help us out and that’s what he did. He honestly made the day better with how friendly he treated us. Highly recommend
They towed a vehicle of ours that was in an accident, even when we asked Temple PD to have some one else tow it and then they refused. Now because we were processing a bad accident and couldn’t take the time to get what we needed out that night, they are refusing to let us access the vehicle for 3 days.
They are very nice and respectful. They’re also very helpful. We had to come in a separate vehicle and the tow truck driver got here first. He parked it under the carport for us without us being here. It looked like we parked it there ourselves.

I was stranded, coming back from Houston and was right outside of Temple. The gentleman took extra precautions to get my baby (ride) up on the flatbed. I appreciate those small details, and we had a great conversation. Dude was awesome!
Incredibly great experience! I needed help and didn't have a lot of time to wait since I had an important appointment. The driver was friendly and happily helped me get un-stuck quickly. I recommend them highly!!
We had a tractor/trailer stranded in the middle of a busy highway during a heavy rain storm west of Temple. I called Ward's Towing and told them of the dangerous situation my driver was in. They arrived on the scene within the hour and solved the crisis without a major incident not too long after that. Price was reasonable for what was needed at the time. I highly recommend them.
Ive been using this place at the least 10 years.. Used to recommend them to everybody I know.. They are not the same anymore. The people are rude. I callled they said they didnt have my car when they did. Had to call the police station. Finally after a whole weekend they said they had my car.. Sill charged me 3 extra days.. They got real money hungry.. I wont be using them any more. I'd rather call someone out of town than them.. Shame on how they treat a long time coustomers.
I had a flat tire on my Nissan Titan. Went into their office to call for help and they said “no need” we can help. Elier changed my tire for me, Wards would not take any pay! Professional friendly service was very much appreciated by a 75 year old man!
If i could give less than one start would be great. My truck got stolen when the police found it in someones yard they called ward to pick it up. They are charging me 407$ for the tow and one day of storage. On top of that 75$ for them to bring it out of there gate because you cannot go in the gate and get it. They guy was very rude, did not want to let me look at the condition of the truck or permit me to get any possession's out of it. Very very bad people..and i do believe they are in bed with the sheriff or judge or something along those lines.
Towed my RV Motorhome Class A. I was stuck at an intersection broken down. The police arrived to direct traffic and were satisfied to hear that I called Ward's towing and were on their way.
Driver was professional and safety conscious. He helped me get my rig going at a very reasonable price. He went the extra mile (literally) by following me a couple miles to my destination to ensure I didn't have any further issues.
Highly recommend for your roadside service needs, especially big RVs!
THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! My tire completely blew out on I-35 and I learned the hard way that my car didn’t come equipped with a spare (but a complete fix-a-flat kit where the spare should have been, which was very helpful on a completely gutted tire. Thanks, Chevy). I was referred to Ward’s from a different towing company that was booked a few hours out. The gentleman on the phone was super friendly, quoted me a very fair price to get me and my car back into Waco and had a truck sent out in no time. I’m relatively new to Texas, so I’m not great with directions and I was also realizing I didn’t know a lot about my own car. The tow truck driver was so friendly and so patient with me and made what could have been a pretty stressful situation pretty dang seamless. I hope I won’t need a wrecker anytime in the near future, but I feel much better having a reliable number to call! Thank you guys so much!
Very ride. Prices and company policies vary by employee and their moods. Was quoted a price for us to pick up bike by 12 noon the next day. After 12 noon would be additional $50. On our way at 11am he informs me the $50 was already added. No apology for either homself or tje other employee lying.

Sent out to me a friendly and professional driver. Tow Rate was pretty decent, actually reasonable compared to some scam artists out there. Once the tow service was completed, the driver went out of his way to make sure i was gonna be ok. Since he towed me to the dealership's empty lot, which had no stores or hotels at a walking distance, he then took me to go get food and something to drink. I will definitely give these guys a call if i ever need a tow again.
Wish more a..hole tow companies would follow their example.

The man (Ronald) gave me a receipt amount different than the cash amount I handed him. When I wrote on my personal fb page about my experience the owners wife called me the next morning to tell me that the same gentle men would be returning to my home to return my ten dollars that was unaccounted for on ym receipt and then before she hung up in my face told me to have a good day in the ghetto! Definitely not professional in any manner. Won't b spending anymore of my money on this ghetto place!!!!
They towed my son's Infiniti from Temple to Colleyville. Both the gentleman on the phone and the driver were courteous and answered all of my questions. When the driver was 30 minutes out he gave us a call so we could meet him at the body shop. The driver was very polite and the way he whipped that tow truck around and unloaded in such a tight space was amazing. Glad they got the call and very thankful that they were willing to go out of their service area for us. Highly recommend them.
