This place is great and Fidel is very helpful and friendly. I've gotten parts for my 2005 Honda here twice. Both experiences were easy and you can't beat the price.

The staff is great. Have been there a couple times now and they are very friendly and helpful. I had a squirrel chew my electrical wires in my car and needed connectors and they actually gave me one the second time. Darn squirrel!! Thanks guys!

i’ve been a mechanic over 20 plus years , one of the best and only salvage yard in bastrop county…… and parts are all reasonable…. are they will make it reasonable….. go check em out , really nice people
Paid them $700 to repair a transmission and they returned it with missing parts, saying I was responsible for taking those off prior to dropping it off with them. They never replaced or found my missing parts. Told me they had them 3 times over the phone only for me to drive 45 min there each time to see them start looking for them once I got there and never finding anything. Stopped trying with them once I realized I was wasting my time
Much friendlier than any other Salvage yard I’ve been to. Fidel was really helpful and helped me in finding what I needed for my Ram.

I sold my vehicle to Fidel’s after I totaled it and they gave me the best value for my vehicle compared to competitors in the surrounding areas. Both gentlemen that came to pick up my vehicle were friendly, punctual and professional. I would recommend Fidel’s to anyone looking to sell a scrap vehicle.
They do not keep an inventory of their cars, but they did have the part I needed. I inquired about its condition, and they assured me it was in good shape. I drove 45 minutes to their location, only to find that the part was not in good condition at all.
This place is awesome! Great experience, they quickly removed the parts I needed and I was happy to pay a small fee for them to remove the parts. They give you different prices of removing the car parts yourself verses their guys removing it. All of the pricing is very reasonable.
Their salvage yard was so nice compared to our experience at Austin Wrench Apart, that place was an awful experience and charges an admission fee to find Nothing, bare bones.
We will stick with Fidel’s Auto Salvage.

I would 100% recommend this place. My truck had a tire issue and I needed immediate help. I'm from out of town and needed to get home. Neo helped me out immediately. He had to look around to get the part I needed, but didn't hesitate to do it. He was polite, helpful, informative, and just an upstanding guy. Ran around all morning junk yard to junk yard looking for a front fender. Fidel’s was my last stop and they had it and in the color I needed too they were friendly and pulled that fender off in like 15 minutes and I was outa there. Not a bad price either I’ll check with them first when I need another part
Ordered a part in the morning.. called them at 5 to see what happened and then they tell me they didn't even have the part! No one called me to let me know. Wasted a whole day! I could have ordered part from somewhere else. Nobody bothered to call me or anything. Worst service I've ever experienced!
Called Fidel's after searching car-part.com for a driver side fender. All the details of the condition of the part were very accurate. Rebecca was very friendly and professional with me and quoted me a fair price for the fender which i gladly paid. Would definitely utilize their services in the future.

I called to ask whether they had a specific part in stock. I was told they had it on hand and was given a price over the phone. I drove over an hour to pick this part up, and when I got there I was told to check the yard for it myself (in the rain). They did NOT have the part in stock and when I told them I'd driven an hour after confirming over the phone I got a shoulder shrug and a "sorry".
Edit: I have seen the reply from Fidel's and have adjusted my review accordingly. This mistake cost me dearly in both time and expense, but I very much appreciate both the sincere reply and the apology. Thank you.

Hwy 71 Auto salvage is not this biggest salvage yard in the area, but they still have a pretty good selection to choose from. I was able to find some parts that I have been looking for for a while. The guys at the front counter were friendly and helpful. Something I noticed right away; no long lines or entrance fees to go look. When I had what I wanted and was checking out, the guy who helped me told me $60. I personally thought that was steep, but when I was about to put some stuff back, he asked me how much I wanted to pay, so I said $30. He said he would do that for me as long as I spread the word, so here I am. I was fairly pleased with my experience with them.
I have been to Fidel's many times and ever experience has been wonderful. They always have the parts I need and then some! I always walk with away for more than I intended but I never pay more than I hoped for. Fair priced, polite and professional people. I will give them my business for many years to come!
