Beautiful shop, room after room filled with so many antiques, shells and oddities with everything from Victorian to Primitives. I I'm so happy with all of my purchases and will definitely be visiting again soon!

I dropped one star with a dollop of guilt. This is not handicap friendly (rarely are antique stores). Several trip hazards, so slow down.
Under no circumstances would I take children here.
I took a friend in there today. My friend found several items she wanted to buy outside. There were no tags on them. We had been here about a month earlier, and they were there a month ago also. I took a picture of two of the larger items she wanted and took the pics to the front desk. The employee said she'd have to come outside after she was finished helping the other customers. I told her the other lady standing there is literally here with me, and I am asking these prices FOR her. She then told me she was not supposed to call "BW" to ask prices, and she could take my name and number and get back to me. I told her not all of the items were in the area where BW's things were. I thought surely she was coming outside to give us prices on the other items right then, but instead she sat at her desk and started looking at her phone.
My friend made it to the checkout before me, and paid for her items. There was a lady standing at the checkout talking to this employee who I later found out was Maureen. Maureen made eye contact with me, and never said anything. She continued talking to the lady in front of me and my friend about her recent Facebook comment & how she didn't even know they both were friends with this mutual person, & how sad but "inevitable" it was they had just lost this friend. I listened to the whole conversation. I moved around the corner to make CERTAIN she could see me standing there, still nothing. My friend was standing on one side of the pole and myself on the other side, so either direction she looked she could see us. She made eye contact with me again, and the other lady actually turned around and looked at me as well. They continued talking. I listened to them talk for a good while, thinking the whole time how I myself would hate someone carrying on and talking about me in front of other people, especially the details of a loved one passing away.
I finally told my friend, AND Maureen "I guess I'm not gonna be helped or waited on. I'll just leave that stuff there". She said nothing. We walked out.
I was angry. It was so hot today, and to be blatantly ignored was beyond rude especially with how much business I have done here. I turned back around, and went back in to ask her name. The lady was still standing there also, and THIS next info floored me!! Maureen stated she had not seen me, and the lady that was still standing there was actually another dealer for the store!! Really, so this is how they make sales, by ignoring paying customers?? They stated that they had just realized they had lost a mutual friend. I was thinking I know because I was standing there for the WHOLE story. I told her that we were asking her for prices on things outside and she said she needed to go outside , but absolutely didn't do it. Then she's telling me this is a dealer here in the store , and they BOTH made eye contact with me.... yet BOTH were sitting here in a public place gossiping about a horrible situation.
I guess that gossiping is more important than helping a customer and doing your job. The supposed dealer even turned around, and had the nerve to tell me I needed to handle the situation with kindness as she could see I was mad. I was kind the whole time, until I could not get help. I was trying to support a local business. I have brought many of friends there in the past, but I can promise you I will NEVER and I mean NEVER; spend a dime in that store again after today!
My husband and I own a business, and i would have a fit if I knew one of our employees treated customers this way. We were just two ladies out to have a nice day today. We were hitting up plant nurseries and antique stores. This one is the most local to us we visited, only about 30 minutes from our homes. It has been taken off my list, as of today! Maureen needs to retire. Maybe go sit at the local cafe, if you feel the need to sit and gossip about people and situations in a public setting. Maureen needs to learn to treat everybody with kindness, and not just the ones she wants to gossip with!
The person there was highly unprofessional today 3/29. When mentioned an item was $50% she threw down her hand and scoffed Loudly. I ended up paying full price just to not deal with her .i definitely won’t be back again as long as she is working. There were so many amazing items they had but I won’t be back because of her. Very unprofessional
I am always popping into antique stores in the stretch between Giddings and Sealy, and this is by far my most favorite I've come across yet! Huge, packed full, nicely arranged - prepare to spend a long time browsing!
I go to nothing ordinary all the time. It's one of the greatest antique stores in the area with plenty of genuine old things which a lot of antique stores don't have. And what is missing from a lot of antique stores is merchandise for men. Guys you go out back and see the greatest collection of scrap metal you have ever seen if you like making art and stuff or you need a spare aircraft part or some Chrome from an old bumper or an old tool they have it. Insides all the great girly stuff. If you can't find it here you probably don't need it.
This place is amazing. It's probably the best antique store I have seen since moving to Texas. Be prepared to spend some time if you visit. It's very large, and every nook and cranny is packed with your newest treasure.
When you think you are finished you will find a new area to explore. I thoroughly enjoyed this store. Some of it is quite expensive. We enjoyed it none the less. If you are a treasure hunter like we are, this is the store to come to. You could get lost in the treasures.
This store is bigger then it looks and it has so much variety of furniture, trinkets, and outdoor fixings. There are good deals with many sellers having summer sale.
I absolutely love this place and every time I get a chance I want to go back here every time I get out get a chance to go by there I just want to go I have so much great stuff amazing love it if I could I'd give him a 20 star
This place has to be the largest antique store I've been to! The store is very spacious and has various sections filled with antiques. I love that there is an expanded outdoor section. I appreciate how some areas are organized by colors and items. Will visit again!
Good sized store with lots of really neat finds. Found some very interesting old books. Packed tight. I felt like prices were a little high on some things though
I could be there all day!! Such unique store with a lovely lady work I g there. Lots of fantastic things that will make your house look cozy and elegant. I had to pace myself as I wanted to buy a lot of things there as selection is amazing but I was on a budget lolo, so I have to go back for more another time. Goods are displayed in an organized way. You need a bit of time to see everything so make sure you eat , before you start shopping there. Lots of collectibles , antique furniture and wall art. Interesting Jewelry and home decor.
They have great items. But the older ladies at the front are secretly obseesed with all that stuff and don't want to sell it. Not nice owners. Nice town though!
Terrible customer service, and nothing ordinary about 50% off. Sign is misleading so when you get to check out. Need to hire some younger, happy, nice spirited sales clerk. Golden girls needs to stay home and count her cats.
Excellent antique store. In the town center area. The proprietors of this shop were very friendly and helpful with a great welcoming attitude. I'm quite sure if your into antiques you should have no trouble finding that perfect item here. I would definitely recommend this location if you happen to be in the area.
Love, love, love this antique shop. It beautifully decorated, and stocked with the most unique antiques. Everything this in good condition. They have jewelry, home goods, clothing, furniture. Wonderful selection. Very friendly service. This is my number one shop.
The woman who runs the store needs to work on her customer service skills very unfriendly and rude. Can't imagine her store being open very long if she speaks to everyone like that.
Great shop with a huge selection!!! Lots of jewelry, tableware, & vintage clothes. You can spend hours browsing through all the stuff in there! Very eclectic collection.
I was there today for about an hour. I enjoyed looking at the huge collection of antiques. I had selected several things I wanted. However, I decided to run a test. You see the woman at the counter never looked up or spoke when we entered the store. I decided to see what happened when we left. Once again she never thanked us or said a single word. Therefore, I did not go back inside to make my purchase. I don't know they stay in business with such poor customer service, no, no customer service. I won't go back.
Neat little spot with a variety of antiques and knick-knacks. Usually open 9-5. It's bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, so you can spend a bit of time looking for whatever you're into.
Had a great time and bought lots of Majolica and other items. Ms. Jo Ann was a great help and made it well worth the trip from Huntsville, Texas. Will be going back again real soon.
