The owner is great guy. I dealt with him personally. I had some issues with a vehicle and he didn't hesitate to do what's right. That's great business. The owner is a standup guy!
If I could leave negative amount of stars I would. I spoke to the owner about coming getting a van I had and 2 trucks. He told me he would be back next day. I called the next day and talked to someone he told me he would be out after he got a shower(had a burnt car) I understood. Waited till about 11 call back left voicemail. Someone called me back and left voicemail reassuring me they would be there. Wasted all day waiting at 230 I called back and they proceed to tell me they ain't coming because of my drive way. I told them I could roll the van down. They said they didn't have time that day. Wasted a whole day of my time ,when they could have just told me no in the first place. Needless to say I found someone else to haul the van. 75 dollars a tow and he could have towed 2 making him a 150 dollars. I will not ever call this place again.
Waste of time and a trip 15 vehicles sitting there that I was inquiring for a part that would interchange with and too lazy to go look, and I wasn’t allowed to go look at it waste of time trying to do business with these clowns
Good prices, BUT not worth it when they damage your trailer. After bringing in a trailer load of stacked scrap tin, the operator attempted to unload it with the claw type loader. After several pinches with the machine (while letting it rest on the trailer as he pinched the tin) it warped the crossmember by over 1.5 inches and also warped the front axle. The owner refused to fix it until after 20 minutes of arguing. He eventually agreed to replace the axle with a scrap axle by the end of the week. Once I arrived on Friday to pick it up, I realized the damaged axle has been removed, bent to as close as possible, and then reinstalled. I have zero respect for the owner or the business.
i had called there to ask for a price on a small pig tail wiring harness and they wanted either 45.00 to 50.00 dollars and when i asked if they could come down in price cause i could have bought it brand new for 14.00 they said to go ahead and just order from them. i would not recommend anyone to go there to buy as much as a bolt cause they are very cheap and highly expensive. on another note it was scott himself i was talking to and he is a very rude individual and should not own a business with his ethics that he choose to use
This is his friend Bill would have been better if the wanted painted aluminum,extrusions all they took was metal I like to go where I can do it all one place. SORRY.
JUST almost got run over by one of your truckers speeding hauling flats of Marble or something heading down 78 in PA. He is going to kill someone and I hope you habe really good insurance. Not ONLY was he speeding but he was pushing his way over into the left lane in a spot he couldn't fit forcing people to slam on their brakes. Then we watched him almost lose control of his trailer.
Dirty yard. Two times in a row I have gone to recycle steel and came out with a chunk of steel in tire. Ruined tire. Clean up your yard! Will not be back.
Got a radiator for our van in October 2019. We put it in our van and the radiator crapped out within a few days. So we called and told them about it and they said they can replace it and would call us back. Well we received no call from them and so we called them. They then said they didnt have another radiator and that they could not give us our money back because the warranty ends after 30 days. Smhhh.... they knew if they didn’t call us back they could keep our money. Never EVER use them again. Would not recommend them either.
have a person who works there that shows NO RESPECT driving up and down the road where we live -- much too fast -- will hit somebody one day coming out of their drivewat
If you need a new battery go to Scotts Auto Salvage the inside of the battery is new the outside caring is old , very good price with a 1 yr warranty you need your old battery so they can match it up to the new one
I was injured after a car accident and unable to contact Scott's for 10 days. They charged more than twice the amount of other local services for the tow. Then overcharged for the daily rate of my car being there while I was injured. Then after multiple phone calls and 3 weeks told me that I would get nothing for my car. This is an unethical business in my opinion.
