Sales man was rude and prices are HIGH for the fact that things are seconds or returns or used. Price changed from first viewing to where he was putting it in my truck. You’re better off going to a big box store quality and price will be better and you won’t have to deal with his bad attitude.
Sixteen yrs ago we moved here and took our house down to the studs. So many items came from here from the wood ceilings, block windows, front door, Corian etc. I just bought some pieces to surround my porch with. I paid $20 and they are $57 at Lowe's.
I didn't have time to go through the entire inventory, but from what I did see, they have a great selection and very good prices! The staff was very kind and helpful, which made this experience even that much better! They took the time to help me, offer great suggestions for my project and it was all very appreciated. Thank so much, and I will be returning! It's a welcome change from the big box stores!
Your gonna find good prices on what they have, but I’ve found it’s hot or miss as far as what you are looking for. Definitely worth checking out though. If they have what you’re looking for you’re gonna save money.
Absolutely horrible place to go to. Customer service was really bad. Not willing to work with people making large purchases. I was not trying to haggle or get a cheaper price. Was trying to buy exactly what I needed. They said they are not willing to sell it unless I bought double what I needed. Will never go back to this place.
Bad!!!!! Place to go. I made a mistake twice and will never do that again purchased a metal door from there got home the door was warped, went to buy blocks , and was told I had to take the one's on the top which was broken and was told beggars can't be choosy. way would I buy broken patio stones. Do yourself favor go some other place !!!!!!!!! I give no stars but had to pic one to post this
As usual, an awesome explore of used, recycled, or surplus building materials. Owner is friendly, has great advice, recommends other stores for items which he has in short supply, and allows you to take photos of his stock. We are building a custom greenhouse from recycled windows, doors and vinyl siding. Prices are always fair!
Very nice people, they got me loaded and took care of in less than 10 minutes. They have a great location right beside 11E, can’t miss it! They have a bunch of rial road cross ties stacked in front. I picked up a water tank, they loaded with forklift right in bed of truck. Paperwork was a breeze. Good place to go if looking for used materials, with great service!
It is a salvage. Place for home remodeling. Everything from bathtubs to the kitchen sink. I would compare pricing before buying cause I am not sure if it is the best bargin. I advise going early on a Saturday Morning. Closes at 3om. They have number too that has been salvage. From. Contractor projects
Saw their ad on craigslist and drove up there. They are right on the main drag and have a lot of stuff to pick from. Really good prices on a lot of stuff.
Great place to find odds and ends that are hard to find anywhere else. I am not sure about all the negative comments but this place is a gem. Yeah the guy that runs the place can be a little cantankerous but that is what gives this place character. Be ready to haggle as he will definitely make a deal. We picked up some great items that I had been looking for and couldn't at a reasonable price. We will be back!
Prices are a few bucks lower than Lowe's, but keep in mind most items are defects or returns. I have bought some stuff there before, but I will Lowe's is better.
The service there was awesome the employees were very friendly clean environment. And if they didn't have what I was looking for they tried pointing me in the right direction to find it
The prices are to high for the quality of the merchandise and when you purchase the item ,,there is no return You can purchase the same merchandise in better or new condition for pennies on the dollar more and be able to return the merchandise if it is not the correct item.
Called him to ask if he was interested in radiators in my 1930's home. I'm paying a pretty penny just to remove them. Yes he was interested but only if I gave them to him. On top of that he was extremely rude to me. Definitely not a Southern gentleman!
The owner is always very helpful and when his wife is there she is as well. The items are salvage, and you get what you pay for. Everything that we have purchased ended up being well worth it. We bought around $600 worth of tile for $250. Love it here!
Bought a new water heater from this place less than 8 months ago and just about burnt my garage down! Needless to say when I called about the warranty I was told it had, I was told it did NOT have one! Stay away if at all possible
i saw a ad on craigslist for some deck railing the picture they took of the item really looked good after driving an hour and a half was disappointed in what i saw the railing was made mostly of trash wood that was full of rotted out knots and part of the bark left on the pickets the very first one on top was in terrible shape i told the guy i didn't want that one i couldn't use it he said i had to take it that their was no picking through them so i told him by the time i took his junk railing off his hands and took it home and repaired them i would have just as much money in them if not more than what i could have went to Lowes or Home Depot and bought them new.guess i should have known it sounded like to good of a deal.i had a list of more things i was going to purchase from him but after he pulled that stunt i decided right then and there he wasn't going to get one red cent of my money, so after it was all said and done i was happy i didn't let this jerk screw me over and he got to keep his junk deck railing
