I live across the street. My kids have always loved their window overlooking your yard. I've dumped metal a few times. Once I just dumped steel and didn't want the money. They nearly chased me down to pay me. LOL I told them I appreciated getting rid of the junk. Keep it. Any noise from this is always during the day. And it's not bad at all. Just seems like a well ran place with good folks. Carry on.
Went to do business and pull apart from Express parked in front of here and one of their employees stole a trailer hitch off of my truck please feel free to go back and check your cameras if you have any for Thursday August 21st in between 2:00 and 3:00 we also have dash cam video of the gentleman walking around the backside of my truck and yes we're positive it was stolen there because we have camera footage from where we left went to the salvage yard and it was gone when we came back and that's the only place we stopped so I would advise that if you go to pull apart from Express stay far away from this place
if I could rate Harris Auto Recycling 6 stars I would! I had the most lovely experience..I have never scrapped anything before and Danny was so sweet and informative. I had them haul like 11 cars and the gentlemen were beyond fast and efficient. the whole team is AMAZING and most importantly, KIND! definitely going to continue business with this company.
Respectful employees who are there to work. Great selection of vehicles to pull parts from. The manager Danny is a great dude and has no problem helping if you have a question or a problem. Been here many times and will be back, as long as you can back up a trailer to unload your scrap you'll have no problem.
Also, depends on how respectful you are, they may let you crush a scrap car
People at Harris are very helpful and knowledgeable , I got in and out very quickly, got a good price for scrap. Of course it Is a scrapyard. And it was raining, so I had to drive thru a flood zone to get to back. Overall happy, I will be going back
DO NOT recycle catalytic converters they’ll blame you for stealing and say they watched you cut them off so I guess they watched me at my own house cut them off a week before recycling what a bunch of clowns
A man ran into the bathroom and left the door open.. After a couple mins of rough toilet noises the man in the restroom started yelling about Tennessee barking spiders. The lady at the desk was barely able to keep it together, overall I Loved this place!
Me and Joey went to Harris this morning to scrap are old truck. The went above and beyond today and we really appreciate it so much. The man gave us a little more money on our truck. Joey lost his phone we went up there not once but twice to get his phone. We thought we left it in the truck. The very nice lady at the front answered the phone I came back up there the nice man walked me back to the truck and I searched the truck it’s not there of course. We came back to our house he Finally remembered his Apple ID pw and we see that it’s still up there. We call let them know and we get back up there and pretty much everyone is looking for his phone. Thank you so much you guys and girls I really appreciate it and so does his that phone is his personal phone and he uses it for his business and he uses it for everything and I mean everything. You have are business for life and we will send people to you.
The scale ticket did not match what scale read when I went across their was a 3000 pound difference and they just said you can't prove it so your wrong
There "top dollar" isn't worth the hassle. I had an old aluminum truck cap I am scraping. Called Harris and asked what did I need to do to get it thru as clean aluminum (paying 40 cents per pound on this day) I was told all windows, plastic or glass had to be removed, any plastic or rubber moldings had to be removed and any steps like screws, rivets, brackets ect in order to get the 40 cents per pound otherwise they only pay 11 cents per pound. So after disassembling the cap and doing what the hey asked I took it you them. A young man came out and looked it over, other then the rubber seal on the bottom of the rear door he said they could take it as clean aluminum. Why we were removing the seal another man came out with the first looked at the load and said nothing. After we got the seal off we backed up to unload and that same second guy proceeds to tell me they can't take the load as clean aluminum
At that point I didn't wait to hear why bring I had already been told they would take it so clean and knowing Lebanon Scrap pays 35 cents per pound just took it there. The extra 5 dollars I might have made at Harris just isn't worth the extra hassle and I wasn't about to let them have it for 11 cents a pound. They need to get there personal to work as professionally as the facility looks.
