I would like to start off by saying Hillbilly towing is amazing! I had a horrible morning trying to get my van into the shop to have my interlock device serviced. Matt came to pick the van and I up and he took me to my first location which was the original shop I had scheduled my appointment with. Matt knew my battery was dead from a lack of lights when he inserted the key. He also knew of the shady dealings that happened with this shop and he warned me on the way there that I might have trouble because of who I will be dealing with. I assured that him as a "people person" I seldom run into a person I cannot reason with. After going in and speaking with said person, he was absolutely correct. She said there was nothing she could do until the battery was fixed, yet she wanted me to drop the van off the wrecker anyway. After eating my words I looked at Matt and asked his advice. At this point he was spot on and he had earned my trust. He said it was a bad idea to take the van off the wrecker and I should go to this other place (not too far) because this other shop has a very good reputation. He called the shop and set up the appointment, all I had to do was switch the work order from one shop to the other. Which I did. If Matt hadn't been so knowledgeable, understanding, friendly and professional I would be stuck at Dashboard audio with a dead car and left paying for another tow. He saved me time, money, stress and who knows what else. I'm SO glad I called Hillbilly towing and I got lucky to have Matt as my tow driver. Thank you Hillbilly towing, thank you to Matt's boss for hiring him, and THANK YOU MATT! By the way Matt, that was me that tooted my horn when you were on the highway this afternoon! I was on my way home from the shop and that wouldn't have happened without you! -JS-
This company is hands down the best around. They showed up less than 20 mins after called and pulled this out without flipping it in 30 with no damage done to the van. Big thank you to these guys.
They are an amazing tow company they will go above and beyond to make sure that they can do anything to help no matter how long it takes they will always go the extra mile to help anyone they can no matter how difficult the tow is
If I could give a negative score, I would they stole my son’s car. AAA told him he had a five hour wait in the rain three hours before expected arrival he canceled. He found someone to help with his car and he went to a hotel tow driver showed up, took his car while the person was working on it my son was not there. They did not check for his license. His AAA card. Nothing we have been calling all night. Do not believe that you can get in touch with these people because their voicemail says that they’re full my son myself and even Triple AAA have been calling them for hours. I’m on the verge of calling the police on this company.
Place towed my car illegally after I cancelled the request via AAA since it was gonna be a 3hr+ wait. Now I can't even get ahold of someone in the supposed 24hr shop? Stg gonna drag yall to court over this bull!
Great service and very respectful people. They worked on my schedule, picked up a car in duffield va. and delivered it south of Nashville. The driver kept me updated on dropping it. Thanks guys

Matt did a great job. He hauled my F350 Dump truck no problem. I really appreciate his work ethic they get the job done for a fair price. We definitely recommend them!

Just got helped by Matt. He is an absolute legend! My car wouldn’t start just by being jumped but he scooped in and whipped out the jump pack and started it right up. He his very knowledgeable of his job and very precise. He got it right up and secured in 5 minutes

This has been an awful experience from a company. I called tried to explain my situation dude screamed at me and hung up on me told me he did not care very unprofessional and cruel.
Driving home after labor day weekend trip to Ohio….. alternator decided to die about 150 miles from home. Fortunate to make it to O’Reilly auto parts in Stone Gap. No real way to get repairs done that day ….AAA premier found us a tow with Hillbilly. He was an hour away, going to be a 3 hr long tow…. No other companies in the area, so we again felt fortunate just to find a way to get us and our car back home, Thank you Matt for getting us there safely and delivering our car to our own trusted mechanic. He was able to jump the car to get enough juice so that we could drive it on and off the truck instead of having to be pulled up. . We enjoyed the conversation! Wouldn’t hesitate to use again!
Hillbilly Towing is the place to go! My van broke down with me and my three kids- they were there within 10-15 min! They’re super nice and reasonably priced. Definitely check them out!

Hillbilly towing did not disappoint. Matt arrived very quickly, had our car loaded and delivered to the garage in no time. Very friendly service. Hillbilly Towing towed my Chevy Nomad today and did an excellent job- prevented further damage than what was already done. They strapped it in securely and chained it; even had another tow truck driver follow us from the scene to the body shop. Well done, Hillbilly Towing.

I managed to get myself stuck, not only 10 feet from the edge of a mountain side drop off but also in a remote location. After calling one tow company that quoted an obscene amount, I called Hillbilly Towing. ( I did love the name ) Harold made the long drive out to where I was and pulled my car out without any damage. He was professional and extremely friendly. He made sure that I was good all the way back to paved road. While I hope you never need a tow, if you do give this company a call.
Needed to get my broken down vehicle from Asheville, North Carolina to Blountville, Tennessee. I already was prepared to pay a ridiculous amount of money. I already received absolutely unbelievable quotes that “ couldn’t be beat!!” Bahahaha!!!! Thank you Hillbilly Towing for BLOWING the competition out of the water. You seriously saved my family hundreds that we desperately needed. The hurricane aftermath is still alive and real for us and y’all helped us so much by supplying a reasonable fare price. I truly appreciate this company! The gentleman who helped tow my vehicle from one mechanic shop to another was fantastic. He was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my work van was transported with great care. There were some delicate items inside, and he handled everything very carefully. I couldn’t have asked for better service.
My husband's car was getting towed and I got there just as lefty was loading the vehicle. I had so many questions regarding the why/how and the steps I'd need to take to get the car back. He took his time answering all of my questions, and even reached out to his supervisor to see what my options were in order to get the car back as easily and quickly as possible. I highly recommend this company but ESPECIALLY lefty - he's patient kind and understanding of how bad it sucks getting your car towed. He's the best tow man I've ever had to deal with!
Had to have my special edition manual transmission 2023 Supra towed due to a sudden flat rear tire, with the car drivable but I had nowhere to go, so ended up pulling over in a terribly unsafe place barely off the 4-lane highway in a rural SW Virginia location. Fortunately, a very friendly Virginia State Trooper came to help, which was a true blessing, and then I was blessed again when Matt arrived with his flatbed. Matt clearly understands the importance of proper loading/towing of today’s modern vehicles, and he did a fantastic job of patiently figuring out the right way to handle my Supra. I’m so very thankful. Great job!
