Lakeside Auto Repair did an excellent job. He was very friendly and took care of both my car door and transmission. Everything was done right and runs great.

Turn out rate is pretty good. Small shop in the back of dover, but its the best experience out of all the shops here. Super good pricing as well as knowledgeable people. If you need anything done in dover or anything surrounding. Come to these guys.
Lakeside Auto Repair LLC did an amazing job with my car. The team was super nice, honest, and easy to work with. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary, and the pricing was very fair. It’s hard to find a trustworthy auto shop these days, but this place definitely earned my business. I highly recommend them and will be coming back for future repairs.
These guys were amazing! I came up here on what was supposed to have been just a normal weekend trip but was stranded when I busted my radiator because the temps dropped super low. Not only were they able to get me in quick, they understood it was a super unexpected emergency for me and were able to get the parts and repairs quick without me having to sell a kidney! Super friendly folks and above and beyond service. Thank you guys so much you really saved the day for me!
Randall and his team have the best customer service I've experienced in a very long time. Had a flat tire far off the beaten path. Not only did they swing by to try and fix it, but we're able to get a new tire mounted, delivered, and installed within 24 hours. I'm from out of town and these guys were extremely helpful and hospitable. While no one enjoys having vehicle issues, really glad Lakeside is there to lend a helping hand. Y'all are aces in my book!
Great work at very reasonable prices. Randell is trust worthy, an awesome mechanic and even better person! My daughter had some shoddy work done on her SUV and had problems for over a year. Randell had her car for 2-3 days and it has been running perfectly since.
Great guy with lots of experience Randall opened for me on a holiday weekend to fix my cars exhaust will do future business with him great to have a small town mechanic with a lift here in Stewart county
Randell is the best! Not only is a he a great mechanic, but the customer service is amazing. As a single female I know I can trust him to work on my vehicle & not be over charged for things that don’t need to be done.
Randell is not only a polite and informative person,but he does outstanding work! I love that he is literally less than 5 minutes from our house, just a great person all around. From an oil change to new brakes to a complete engine replacement, you're not going to find a better place to have your vehicle worked on. Service is great, wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend them to anyone needing work done.
This is the ONLY place I take my 3 vehicles to. He has replaced and engine in one for me, multiple other repairs on the same suv, he has fixed my husband's truck and my work car. He is knowledgeable, friendly, treats everyone like family. He is transparent, communication is on point and he doesn't price gouge. If you ever need a car, truck, suv or atv worked on this is the place to take it. Oh and he has worked on things short notice, and has even come to my house to pick up or drop off my vehicles. Randall is amazing and so is everyone that works with him.
Randall and his team were very helpful and helped us out a lot with a vehicle we recently bought. They were very knowledgeable and offered us a great priceful and were able to get the job done in our timeframe I couldn't figure out how to do.
This place is the best kept secret in Stewart County. Randall is a phenomenal mechanic. He’s knowledgeable and thorough, plus he has great rates. As if that wasn’t enough, he also does terrific body work. And you can dip your toes in the lake or go for a swim after you drop off your vehicle!
Took my car there after not hitting one, or two, but hitting 3 deer,(yes, at the same time.) completely tore off my bumper, banged up my passenger side panels and front door, and (further) cracked my windshield. L.A.R. made sure made car looked brand new again! Just like the day I drove it off the lot. They'll be the only ones to work on my Soul. Thanks again guys!

Randell was very thorough in diagnosing and resolving the issues with my daughter's car. He went out of his way to get the parts at a reasonable price. He explained all the work to be done and parts needed and got her back on the road with cold air. :)

Awesome mechanic! Someone you can really trust! He takes the time to explain all the car things to me and helps keep my car running in smooth order. Just got new tires for my car at a competitive and reasonable rate. What I love about Lakeside Auto Repair is that they really work with my schedule. Randall came and picked up my car, then brought it back when the work was done. Super convenient for my busy schedule! Randall was really honest when helping me pick the best tires for my car as well! It's so hard to find a mechanic who you can trust and Randall is that guy!!
Have an F250 , Randell and Jon came out after hours. They had all tools needed for the job and did a quick service. Above and Beyond, these young gentlemen were professional and courteous. They even put my flat on the back of the truck for me. Thank you, both for the Great Service.

Several months ago my VW was diagnosed with bad rings. When the local dealer denied the repair under their warranty, I went to work looking for another option and found Lakeside! Lakeside did a complete engine replacement and my car is back on the road! Randell was upfront about pricing, great with updates during the repair process and even kept the car a couple extra days to address a "noise" I was concerned with after the repair. He was very thorough and my car is back like new and ready for more years on the road!! I couldn't be happier. Thank you Randell! 10 stars
