Thanks for helping start the day off in a panic. Got ready for work at 5 AM today 09/30/25 ,like everyday, thinking hey today is a good day to have a good day but no I go outside to where I parked the car the night before and vehicle magically disappeared.! Very first thought was…Oh No! someone has stolen the car with all my class materials and work belongings. Thank you I know now what “valuables” not to leave in a car. And it also looks like the vehicles AirTag has been either removed or disabled. You know I just wish our Heavenly Father continues to bless this company to remain in good business. Thank you for your service. I pray to never encounter such business again. And may joy come in the morning while your still resting peacefully.
I been trying to contact you all about damaging my car I paid the tow fees and all which I dealt with and not complaining about but the terrible service from the tow driver and also refused my money to stop the tow and then still towed my car I got my car back a days later had a hole in the bottom of my motor that you all caused still no answer I sent videos pictures and all so if anyone gets their car towed please prevent it because it looks like they won't repair your car if they damage it so please avoid them having to tow your car

Superior Towing in Memphis is straight-up TRASH. I was visiting my daughter for the weekend, parked my RENTAL car in the apartment lot, and these parking lot vultures snatched it up just because it “didn’t have a sticker.” They literally ride around like predators, waiting to tow cars just to make a quick buck. Nobody was blocking, nobody was in the way—they just saw dollar signs.
When I went to pick it up, the rude woman behind the counter hit me with “CASH ONLY” like she was running some back-alley hustle. Then, surprise, she actually took my card. Which makes me think the “cash only” rule is so they can pocket it and split it with whoever they’re working with. The whole thing smells like a scam cooked up with someone in authority.
This isn’t a business—it’s a SHAKEDOWN. They don’t care about people, fairness, or even being professional. They care about trapping innocent folks and draining pockets. If you’ve never dealt with them before—thank your lucky stars. If you have, you already know.
Superior? Please. More like SORRIEST towing company in Memphis. A scam, a joke, and a headache rolled into one.
Towed my car out of my OWN APARTMENT COMPLEX I’ve been at for a year now. When I have a PARKING PERMIT IN THE CAR! then decided to charge me $230 just to get my own car back. Terrible place, terrible service, terrible everything! Do not trust that place.
Got a new apartment and the apartment parking was full so parked at the side in the apartment. Mind you I have a sticker. I parked at the side because others who don’t have a sticker to all the Parking up. This was 2am in the morning. Woke up got towed call and trying to explain to them there was no where for me to park because the ones who didn’t have a sticker took all the Parking up they just said welp I should had park outside the parking lot at side where is still would had got towed. They don’t care just money hungry. Even explaining my situation they still demanding 250 by 430 and if I don’t pay it it’s going to keep going up.
This company is a complete rip off! They by pass cars that are knowinging abandoned, out dated tags ,flat tires,haven't been moved in months, busted windows, ect. They only tow cars late at night when people are sleeping. Cars that they see move daily because they know you're going to pay to get your vehicle back! They're rude, don't explain to you that it's cash only. I called before I came they never answer the phone . They have damaged cars when towing them away .it's highway robbing at its best. They don't deserve a star I only left one because I had too in order to leave a review!
This company is racist and don’t give a damn about minorities..They pulled my brother vehicle whom is handicapped because first they said he was double parked due to him having to get his wheelchair to get out his truck then they said he didn’t have his parking decal.While the whole time a stolen car was beside his car.Anyone that’s a minority using this place SHOULD most definitely change companies
They just my car out of fieldstone. I’m on crutches and i had just parked i. The ONLY spot available (handicap) to take my 2 year old, 3 year old, and 10 year old on the house PLUS GROCERIES!! 2nd floor i may add ON CRUTCHES.. i was in the house for 20 minutes and they got it. They’re desperate and i can’t wait to file against them
My car was towed without a tow sticker on from my apartments because two flat tires I was working on getting those changed out but I lost the rim lock key an I was changing my registration over to my new location hate is real
I stay at eagles landing apt. .They pull my car without notice and charge me 225.00 . I heard the driver laughing while driving away from my apartment. As of March 24-2025 they tow my car again I came outside that Sunday morning and find my car gone I didn’t know they tow my car until I call. A lady told me she saw him walking around my car before towing again. The next day I went to get my car back I ask the woman what is the reason why they tow my car she ask the guy (Vic Bubba) there which he speak to her from outside he didn’t come inside the office to tell me the reason I guess he have cameras inside he said I got tape or glue on my sticker and I respond I don’t have tape or glue on it so I went outside to show him (Vic Bubba) I don’t have glue or tape and ask him can I get my car back If I prove you wrong he said show me. I open my door and show him that it’s no tape or glue after that he went to say it’s not down here close to my vin and I said long as it’s is visible it fine the statement says it. Then he started to argue with me about where my sticker is places. It was the most pity man I ever seen. The man I came with saw I didn’t have no tape or glue on my car he after all this drama. I pay 200.00 just get my car back. (Vic Bubba) told the man , look like she runs you then the man said she don’t runs none thing im going to get her to give you 200.00. So embarrassing.
They are towing apartments visitors cars INSIDE the allowed time frame. I witnessed it. That is very devious and unprofessional. To take away from people’s financial security is outrageous, ON PURPOSE at that. Please be better as humans.
I’m very disappointed with Superior Automotive and Towing. My car was towed by them right before Christmas, and everything was in perfect working order before the tow. I had a good battery, and my car was running just fine. However, after getting my car back, the battery light came on. Now, I’m being told I need a new battery and alternator.
It’s frustrating to deal with these unexpected and costly repairs, especially since my car was perfectly fine before the tow. I don’t know what happened during the process, but I can’t help but feel like something went wrong on their end. I wouldn’t recommend this company based on my experience.
My car was tow yesterday, the driver drop my car, knocked my bumper off, and the hood of my car will not close, and my check engine light is on now. I took these pics on the towing property. They ignored, dodged, and lied for weeks about getting back with me. Even had an attitude and being short with me when they saw my number on caller id and stop answering.
Today, Saturday, I parked my car at 8pm in a visitor’s space (1 hour parking), my car was towed within 20 minutes. I went to the superior tow building and the gate was open. I walked to the back and spoke with the tow truck driver. Even though the hours state that they are open 24 hours on Saturday, the driver told me they’re closed. I offered to just pay for the tow and he still said no. I was close enough to take my car but, I didn’t know if he had a gun. Next time I’ll make sure I have one.
Even though I was in the wrong for parking in handicap, I don’t appreciate the damages done on my car by not being towed properly. Please have some decency when towing people cars; imagine if the shoe was on the other side and your car was just towed any kind of way. I understand y’all need to make money but take care of our cars at least. Thank you!
I woke up and went outside to get in my car and go to work and my car was gone. I called 911 and they said I had been towed. To be fair, I was in a handicap spot, but I always park there, as I have a tag. Days leading up, I was in another vehicle so switched the tag over. On 11/5/24, I parked my usual car in the spot and went inside because it was pouring rain and completely forgot about the tag. I also live in Southaven, 30 minutes away from the lot. Because I had work, I could not make the limited hours of 9:30-4:30, as most working people couldn’t. In my apartment complex, I have seen multiple cars with a warning sticker from this lovely company. I have seen them for over a month, yet the car remains there. A simple knock at the door or warning would’ve been nice. Now i’m out $255 and having to miss a day of work to get my vehicle back. My car was also towed in the middle of the night and neighbors say they lurk around and tow all the time. If one car parked illegally gets a warning, why not all of them? Workers are rude. Some grace would be nice. Horrible company that preys and those simply trying to make a living by taking their vehicle to work while they make plenty taking their transportation.
This is honestly the worst company. They “tow” away cars from apartment complexes but not only that no if you have a parking pass as a resident they’ll still tow your car my apartment manager is even in disbelieve with this company.. Gotta do better and stop tryna make a quick Buck before someone comes after your towing license
They towed my car & said there was a sticker applied to the rear driver side window. When I asked the owner to walk out & SHOW ME the sticker he simply said that it must have ‘fallen off’. Come on guys. We ALL know those stickers don’t just ‘fall off’. Seriously, have you ever tried to remove one? He said that he stickers 1200 cars a week & towed 42 the night he towed mine. Regardless, yes, my tags were expired. This is a 2nd car & it isn’t driven often. I guess they caught me slipping
I agree with the predator comments fr. They came and towed my car out of my apartment complex because it was double parked .. but 3 of the next 4 spots were open and my car wasn't blocking anything. At 6:37 a.m Labor Day morning. This company doesn't help anyone or make anything better shouldn't be a operating business if you do neither. This janky operation's only objective is to make a couple hundred dollars by making civilians have a bad day. If any lawyers or anyone like that sees this please help out and get this place inspected thoroughly.
Car been towed 3 times by them at my friends apartment complex . Yesterday 8/22/24 I came to my friends house at 2 came out at 4 to go to work and my car was gone . They do this around the time to pay rent and they took my car before so I feel they are picking honestly
Wow, all the one star reviews are accurate. This company should be shut down. The guy in the tow truck was the rudest most dangerous person driving on Lamar. Changing lanes quickly in heavy traffic, driving very aggressive, tailgating, flipping people off. And with that skinny little arm, I wonder what he would do if somebody decided to follow him? Folks, stay out of this little fellas way and save yourself some trouble!!!
They towed my car due to my tags being expired and yes I was pissed but that’s my fault for not handling my business! They towed my car with grace and I got my baby back without a scratch. It was only 2 employees when I went 2 guys, one inside and one in the tow truck and they both had a pleasant aura about themselves, they didn’t give rude, very pleasant. I can’t personally blame them for doing their job and I was so nervous for my car reading these reviews but I was met with grace and gave grace. Thanks for towing my baby and making me get back on my shii as an adult should, I needed that push!
This company is getting rich off of poor people!!! Operating like they are the police! Going in apartments towing cars at 1am but don’t open their filthy doors until 9am. I will be filing a complaint with the Eagles Landing corporate office because if you come home after 8pm you’re SOL there’s no where to park!!! What they are doing has to be illegal ain’t no way you pull my car at 1:24am and @9am I have to pay $225.00 that’s not even 24hours very unprofessional place of business Yuck!!!!
Update: since the holidays they haven’t even been back. We’ve had broken down cars, cars in handicap, cars stickered for towing yet they haven’t bothered to come back. They literally were just targeting people to take their Christmas money from their families. Do not trust this company!!! They will also deny all claims of any damage caused even though they cannot provide any proof they did not cause it.
They deserve ZERO stars! They are predators, charging $225 for having my car less than 24 hours!!!!!! They are vultures that circle apartment complexes looking for any excuse to take someone’s vehicle and then over charge them to get it back. Be wary if anyone resides in a complex that contracts with these price gougers! Not to mention the customer service is TERRIBLE. They also are so cheap they refuse to fix their card machine so that people can get their vehicles with less hassle. I wouldn’t doubt they are cash only so they can pocket the extra cash.
They have been reported to the BBB on many many occasions, but this company refuses to take any accountability. Now I need an alignment BAD. If you’re in Memphis, be aware. You will get screwed over by them.
This is the worst towing company. I have. 2012 Chrysler 200 that was towed due to no decal from Eagle Landing Apartments on 05/19/2024 at sometime that night. After visiting a friend I walked to the leasing office where my car was parked correctly and it was not there. When I called SUPERIOR at 10 that night I was told I was towed because I didn’t have a parking decal. So I asked about getting my vehicle back, I was told by the receptionist that I would have to wait til Monday 05/20/2024 to retrieve my vehicle. As I stated before, I was visiting a friend and I do not stay there. Superior has affected my pay for 05/20/2024 at work because my car was sitting in their lot and not outside my house. Once I got to Superior at opening which is 9 am, I was told that I had to pay 225 when my car was towed less than 24 hours ago. It seems like this company only can get business if the troll and tow cars for unreasonable reasons. Superior needs to make sure that Apartments notify all residents of parking guidelines. Several cars were parked in any parking spot without parking decals. They towed my car months before and this is the 2nd time. This is the most money hungry company I have ever seen. If I wasn’t forced to put the one star, it wouldn’t be there.
They pulled my car one night at 10:30 pm from my son's apartment complex for parking in residential parking that we knew nothing about. I wasn't there for 30 minutes so they had to be watching me and didn't say anything. I had to wait until the next morning to contact them. They were supposed to open at 9am but no one answered till about 9:30. They charged me $225 and only took cash. When I drove my car out of the parking lot it was making a sound it wasn't making before they towed it. Of course they said they weren't responsible. I mean I know it's a business and they have to make money but I just think it's low down to treat people like this just because you can.

They towed my car because they were low on tows as they canvass my apartment complex searching for cars to impound. Most people here are not well off financially, so what they are doing is preying on the less fortunate. Pathetic!!! They said that I was double parked when there was ample room for another car to park beside my car. Who do they think they are?? The law?? Their definition or perception of double parking is severely impaired. My car's tires were over on the no parking lines not by much and that's why they decided it was okay to tow my car for "double parking". (???) I knew my car hadn't been stolen when I didn't see any broken glass. Just those super shady Superior Towing tow truck drivers!! Then the woman at the office got offended with something I said that wasn't even directed at her because she's such a poor listener. She wasn't the one who towed my car, so why take it personal? She had apologized when she realized her mistake. I could care less about her fake apology. Plus, they are so sorry they won't even fix their card machine, so you must pay with "cash only". Sorry is as sorry does.
But, again, this business is greedy and desperate. I was livid having to pay $185 just to get my car back when I wasn't parked illegally They make sure they keep a tow truck in front of your vehicle and another one in between the gate so that no one can try to get their vehicle without paying first. Sorry, predatory company and greedy at that.
