My daughter car was tow from marked parking lot downtown last night, they locked up her car and refused to let her have access to it without paying first !!!!!! SHE IS A TYPE 1 DIABETIC, and was in medical emergency for her INSULIN!!! Outrageous! I hope they see this review!!! She ended up in ER from diabetic episode from not having her Insulin and supplies when they towed her car illegally!!! Just wanted $$$.
This company is going to get themselves in alot of trouble with so much evidence of towing unlawfully. Long story short, they towed my truck in VISTORS! When going to pick it up, they said my friend suppose to have a visitors permit to give us! Keep in mind, my friend lived there over 2 years , and we know them inside out. I called the property manager and they stated it was a lie, they don’t give out permits. I called them back, now they saying it’s under investigation. Like what is it there to investigate? I was parked in visitors (( cameras can prove it)) & they lied about the front office desk lady who works there lied about a visitors permit. Summer trace do not give their residents permits. I’m highly upset. & God don’t like ugly. These people are doing people so wrong just because they’re MONEY HUNGRY!!! Right is right and wrong is wrong. And I know I wasn’t wrong. I know where I can park and can not! Facts is facts and they gone get this taken care of! You just don’t take from people wrongfully and think it’s okay.
On what began as a typical work morning, I discovered that my car was no longer parked in my parking space. Believing it had been stolen, I contacted emergency services, only to be informed that my vehicle had been towed due to a permit issue.
This was both alarming and frustrating, as my vehicle was properly registered and clearly displayed the required parking permit for my apartment complex. Despite complying with the parking requirements, my car was still towed.
In addition to the inconvenience of the tow, I have since experienced mechanical and electrical issues with my vehicle. After retrieving my car, three separate warning sensors appeared on my dashboard, and my remote start feature no longer functions. These issues were not present prior to the tow. I am extremely concerned that the towing process may have caused damage to my vehicle.
As a direct result of this situation, I was late for work and incurred additional expenses. I had to pay $25 for an Uber ride to work and another $25 for transportation to your facility once it opened, totaling $50 in transportation costs—excluding towing and release fees.
This incident has caused significant stress, inconvenience, financial burden, and now potential vehicle repair costs.
The recent snow has filled a bunch of our parking spots with ice, so i parked outside of one of the parking spots and was towed in less than than 30 minutes. But wake up and cars from last night are still outside of parking spots. I don't understand because i have a permit but was still handpicked to be towed alone. And the $400 to bring it back that same night they asked for is just ridiculous!
This company deserves to be shut down. I’m confused on why they are still open and apartment complexes have contracts with them? Wrongfully towed my car with no warnings the day before the winter storm. Claims they had people in the office but “the phone were down.” Still trying to charge me $500 even though the roads are still bad and there is no physical way for people to come get their cars out!
I wouldn’t have even given one star if I didn’t have to in order to write a review. But that being said, this is the most crooked, money, hungry, completely unfair towing company I have ever heard of in my life. I came from out of state to visit a friend in a rental car. I had even been there long enough to unload the things out of my car, when the next thing I know it was gone out of the lot with all of my belonging still in it. This company just lurks around the parking lot, looking for people to rip off, especially out of state tags, like my rental car had. I understand. I did not have a parking permit. But the person I was staying with who lives at the apartments, which was Diamond Properties aka Belvedere Gardens, never gave her a parking permit for herself nor for visitors. I saw on the site where the standard fee is $125 but I was charged $255 because it was there for two days because they’re only open for one hour on Saturday and Sunday, and it also indicates they are supposed to be available 24/7, which they absolutely are not, and it is impossible to get anyone on the phone ever, or I would’ve gotten it a lot sooner and only had to pay the $225 i was told it was going to cost had I gotten it the first day during the one hour they’re open on the first day. I think this is a racket between this towing company and the apartment complex, and I don’t know who to bring legal action against first, not both, but there will be action taken. Because I not only had to pay $255, I also had to pay a lot more to the rental company for not having the car back when it was originally suppose to be returned. I just hope this company gets shut down or starts treating people fairly and st least charging the correct tow fees.
The absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with. They took my car along with 4-5 others on 12/20/25 and everyone had guest passes that was given BY the complex. The towing company said “you needed a sticker that has PB&J towing on it” in order for us to not tow you. I have never in my life been told that. Refused to give me my car because it’s not in my name, but I had proof and they said no and the front desk lady is rude as hell. She slammed the window on us and was cussing us out. Biggest scam I’ve ever seen. They said it would be 550 because I wasn’t able to get it today when in fact I could get it today. They just didn’t want to give it to me. Last time I got towed was by the same company and my boyfriend just walked up and got my car, this time they’re asking for all different papers, people, etc. they need to get shut down immediately because other people from the same complex that I was at yesterday night got towed as well with me and they were rude to them as well. Terrible service, people, and establishment.
I was just visiting my son and they just towed my car . I was told I needed a permit to come and visit . I have never ever heard such a thing . This is a scam and why are they still open ?
I have had similar issues to complaints and reviews read online about this company which clearly define illegal and predatory actions taken by this company. I therefore recommend anyone with complaints against this towing service to file formal complaint with the Tennessee Towing Commission who issues towing licenses and has an investigator to review such complaints. It may not be handled immediately but repetitive complaints of this type can render the loss of their license and bar anyone working for them to gain a towing license to prevent further predatory and illegal behaviors.
This is the worst towing company ever. They towed my vehicle while I was legally parked downtown. I was parked feets away from the sign and they towed everyone's car. They are only open for an hour to get your vehicle on Sunday. I had to pay over $250 to get my vehicle back. They are a pure scam and should not be in business.
I have never in my life had my car towed untill I moved to my place and these folks pulled my car first claiming it was in handy cap and then goin say it was in two lanes and started laughing when they got on the computer but could never show me. They claimed my property manager had the pictures and my property manager didn’t know what I was talking about. So yea I’m filing a whole lawsuit! I asked over and over to give me my money back yall knew dang on well yall didn’t have no picture of my car and sent it to my property manager and had me looking crazy going in these people establishment!!!!! I’m not letting up till I get my money back so think it’s a joke and game all you want to I got all yall on record playing and laughing like it’s funny and constantly playing with me and I even let yall speak to my property Manager for yall to know yall didn’t send no pictures because it was never a dang on picture ! Honestly would give them zero stars on customer service they vandalize your car less than 24 hours of keeping it . The customer service representative on the phone exhibited a consistently negative attitude, resulting in an abrupt termination of the call. I would not recommend using this establishment in any situation. The company is in dire need of improving its customer service practices.

Vehicle was wrongfully towed from apartment parking lot. They don’t verify vehicle make/model, nor license plate before towing because my vehicle information is clearly on file and I have a valid parking permit. Towing fee was extremely high. Owner’s son was extremely rude & unprofessional. He threw my debit card in my face & I had to call the police. I don’t care that he hates his job, assaulting someone is never okay! The officer said he responds to multiple calls at this tow place every single day from customers who experienced the same thing I did.
This is my first day in my new apartment at The Willows , I haven’t even lived here 12 hours and my car was gone while I was taking a break from unloading my car into my new apartment . I’m on the third floor and the only available spot was handicapped and it is such an inconvenience already . As soon as I wasn’t aware they came and my vehicle . I cannot provide for my child or go to my job. I lost my job because they took my car .
This company towed my car for no reason i been parking in the same spot for 2 years. They never reported the towing to the apartments and my apartment knows me personally. Ths company just money hungry & will not be around too much longer.
I watched as a resident was unloading items from their car. It seemed like the tow people were watching her because as soon as she finished unloading they came and got her vehicle. She was screaming and crying so I went to check on her. She notified me that her original car was broke down and in the shop and was borrowing someone's car. She thought their car was stolen but I told her the tow people took it. I feel like this company is very stalkerish and money hungry!!! She wasn't there longer than 30mins or so and wasn't blocking any residents and there was AMPLE amount of RESIDENT parking so I highly doubt a resident called for her to be towed. I feel so sorry for her because she said she'd only came home to unload her car before going back to work. She didn't have money for an Uber or Lyft and was on the last strike with her job because she's been having car issues. She ultimately lost her job yesterday because they towed her vehicle and she had no way to get to work. This company says they follow the rules but the main gate is open until 5pm which means anyone can come in and there's only about 15 visitor parking spots for the whole complex. I assume she parked closed to her building so she could unload since there was no visitor spot available. This company should be CLOSED!!! It's a set up!
I came to visit my sister for one night Summer Trace has visitor parking and they towed my car from there and now saying $225 no notice. While Summer Trace said they did, they both are in cahoots with charging people money to keep them in business. AGAIN ITS ONE TO TWO PARKING SPOTS PAINTING WHEN SHE MOVED IN THEY WERE TOLD THAT THOSE WERE VISITOR PARKING. NEVER GAVE A NOTICE IT WAS A CAR IN EVERY “ VISTOR” parking spot because they are limited and it was sign that was tore down recently.
This is the worst company ever. The manager is rude and lacks professionalism. My car was parked in a handicap parking space in front of my townhome. My handicap decal was clearly visible hanging from my rearview mirror. I called the property manager who said my car should not have been towed. I went to pick up my car my tire had holes in it and scratches on my driver's side door. I called the manager and he lied and said I damaged it . He told me to sue him. I have already filed a claim . This place should be closed they are unprofessional and take no accountability for their screwups. I will see them in court .
This place is the worst of the worst they literally ride up and down different apartment complex’s looking for cars to tow. Just Monday my daughter car was towed from the Brentwood where she only lived there 2 weeks ago. Stated they was fixing pavement in the apartments but know-one was properly notified. I will be taking this to further actions because this is past ridiculous. How can the city continue to allow a towing company like this to keep a business. They need to be shut tight closed ASAP
My wife had her car parked in a parking spot in Summer Trace apartments with a valid parking pass and we stay ahead on rent so there was no reason whatsoever to touch said vehicle. We always park with the front facing towards the woods. One day she went outside and her car was gone. Appeared to have been stolen. The keys were inside the house. About 2 hours later it magically reappeared in a different parking spot and backed in (front wheel drive vehicle) you could see in the previous parking spot drag marks where the front end had been dragged. This ruined my wife's feeling of safety and comfort living here. We have always done things by the book and have no reason for our vehicles to be touched. I'm not one to lawyer up, but this seriously has my wife frightened for her safety. Convinced that someone is messing with her and being stalker-like. You should be ashamed. You literally STOLE her vehicle, because there was zero reason for a tow. She's a good person and you truly hurt her. How do you sleep at night knowing that you are literally being terrorists on innocent people that have done nothing wrong. Again, you should be ashamed.
The tow truck driver hit my vehicle head on gave me false information about thier insurance while my vehicle was sitting parked while they were towing someone vehicles. These people are full of cesp . I went to speak to the owner and they talked very nasty and unprofessional to me about this accident. I have proof and I want my money and will get it lying to give me a call to repair my vehicle no call no repair lying on Google as if they are going to give me a call going to have to take to police department
This company is scamming people all over Memphis and practice towing in an illegal and predatory manner. They towed my vehicle from my apartment complex! Talked to property manager, no report. Rent paid, allowed to park in the lot as a tenant. They were fired by the property management for damaging cars, and they came back to remove the new tow companies signage. The city of Memphis needs to be held responsible as well. This company has multiple complaints, Law suits, and is not BBB acredidated. Take to social media, and Memphis make your voice heard. This company needs to be shut down. And PBJ, this post will be monitored for you removing it. As you have done that before.
On March 3, 2025 PB&J stolen my car from the Hamlet apartments. Bobby Deshields states that he placed a tow sticker on the back windshield of my vehicle. This makes it difficult for me to see the notice because my vehicle was backed backwards into a fence. He made a direct threat to me previously that he was gonna take my 2009 Cadillac Cts. This the second time that PB&J has stolen one of my vehicles from same apartments. I have a video of Bobby Deshields attempting to snatch up a car without a notice. He was unaware that I was sitting in my Cadillac at the time that he pulled up to get a vehicle parked next me without any sticker or notice placed on it. He did not know that the vehicle belonged to me as well. Bobby got upset that I was recording and questioning him about the vehicle being stickered. He claims that it's on the back windshield of the vehicle which was backed backwards into the fence. The video clearly shows no signs of a sticker or any residue from a sticker. Bobby Deshields then made the threat after I ran him off from towing anyone of my three vehicles. Bobby Deshields stated " Imma come back and get your Cadillac". He made promise and kept it on March 3, 2025 he did what he said. He stole my 2009 Cadillac Cts. This harassment, stealing, and threats from PB&J has got to stop Uniform Landlord and tenant act states that a 10 day notice is to be given for expired tags, flat tires, broken windshield, inoperable vehicle, and etc. It should be placed in front windshield or driver's window to be visible so that tenant can prevent tow. Otherwise, PB&J it's considered an unlawful tow "STOLEN"

11/15/2024 I came outside to go to work and seen my car was gone thought it was stolen … called the police just tell me my car was towed by this company for what reason I don’t know . They claim I didn’t have a valid resident sticker for “uptown flats “ apartment which I did . They was trying to charge me $225 just to get the car out but I didn’t pay my leasing manager had to tell them to give me the car back . I don’t work on weekends drove the car today just to see my side mirrors are replaced. I have sensory mirrors which are gone from my Mazda 6….. called them today to confront the situation just to get disrespected so I will be getting the local news involved (SHARON WELLS)
PB&J towing and the manager Pat are unprofessional. They towed my friends car from an apartment complex. Once the fee was paid, my friend proceeds to leave the gate and noticed a LOUD rattling sound. Before exiting the gate he alerted the towing staff who then instructed him to wait for mechanic. We waited for about 20 min (they are open for 1 hour on weekends) he then went back to the desk and was told the mechanic was not here and to come back the following day between 9a-4p. In order to make it before they closed, my friend took off early and was told by Pat the manager, he was not informed about him coming and to bring the car back tomorrow as he had too many cars to service that day. My friend then came back AGAIN and Pat speaking to him thru a gate, told him he would NOT look at the car, because he was told by his driver they did not damage the car. This could have been communicated the very first day instead of having him leave work not 1 but 2 days for this. Also the car was not making this noise prior to be towed. It is obvious something happened when it was towed. This is unacceptable!
