Rip off, absolutely. Nearly $400 for a day tow across Memphis, Tennessee. The vehicle was on the tow yard for about 3 hours. Stay away from these people.
I've used their services MANY times throughout the years and Lois, Dexter and others have ALWAYS been EXTREMELY polite, professional and more than reasonable to deal with. These are GOOD hard working folks so don't let 4 ridiculous reviews sway you from using them. Call them and you'll agree after you speak to them.
Company assisted a thief in towing my vehicle and selling it to a junkyard. They now refuse to provide information to authorities to prove the thief used their services to do so. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Completely useless. I called to ask for a tow and whether they'd be able to come relatively quickly. Business said yes, we have trucks available and will be able to send one soon. I texted them my pickup and drop-off info, and then 5 minutes later got a call from a driver who said he'd be there in 20 minutes. 35 minutes later I called the driver to ask for a new ETA, and he said, "sorry but I've been having trouble starting my truck. Let me call another driver and see." About 10 minutes later I called the driver again to ask if he'd successfully gotten another driver to start coming to me. No answer. I texted and called the driver and the business phone number a few times and still got no reply. After getting home via another towing business about an hour and a half after my last contact with the Memphis Towing and Recovery driver, I still had received no contact from anyone at this business. I doubt anyone ever came to my pickup location, or if they did, they sure didn't notify me. Totally unacceptable communication. If you can't do the job, then you need to at least tell the customer so they know to find a backup.
Very bad company. One of their operators delivered a vehicle to my property and hit one of my vehicles parked and refused to be responsible for it. I contacted the owner and he ignores my calls and will not give me his company’s insurance or become responsible for it. Do not go to this company.
