I went to claim my son's car that was in a wreck. My insurance company was sending a tow truck. The police had the car towed anyway by Uncle Dave.
I was told it would be $300 cash only, once I arrived to claim the vehicle . I called first. I was not informed it would be cash only and there are no signs in the business that state cash only. Why?
I simply asked why I couldn't use a debit card?
Dave came out of the back and went ballistic on me. He cursed and told me to get out of his business. He then had the secretary call the Bartlet Police on me. I stood my ground with him and told him he better not put his hands on me.
The sad part is, he didn't remember me as a loyal customer when he was on Highway 78 years ago. I bought several vehicles from him.
Cash is easy to lie about on taxes.
The man who towed my car was helpful, informative and he arrived within 15 minutes of calling him in 90+ degree heat. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a tow.

We have used Uncle Daves multiple times while living in Memphis. The drivers are always courteous and helpful. I have never waited over 30 minutes for a tow and tonight the driver beat me to my wife's location before I could even get there. I will continue to use them for my personal vehicles and the company fleet I oversee.
My son's car was towed in on Saturday evening, and we were there Monday morning to retrieve it. The car was there a total of 36 hours, but were charged for 3 x days at $95/day. When we asked why we were being charged for 3 x days, their response was "it's calendar days". No one does business this way. A day is 24 hours, and had you charged us for 2 x days, fair enough. But 3 x days??? This should be illegal, and I'm guessing if the TN AG's Office was aware of your business practices in this regard, they might have something to say about it. It's simple, really. Treat people how you wish to be treated...nothing more, nothing less. I hope the next time you check into a hotel for a night, you are charged for 2 x nights...and their response is "we use calendar days too!"
Office personnel was extremely rude and unhelpful. Waited 2 hours for a unlock and when I called for a update she refused to give me an ETA and just hung up on me! The driver who did show up was helpful and friendly. He was the only positive part of my experience.
I was in a very odd predicament and the two guys handled it quickly and without additional damage to my Jeep. There were other issues complicating the tow. They listened and allowed me to help ( that's amazing, considering my physical condition). Most people would have been verbally abusive. I got lucky.

After calling several wrecker companies for assistance to no avail, Uncle Daves was able to respond in less than 30 minutes. We were told the cost for a tow on the phone and that is what we paid without add ons. Kyle the driver was profession, patient , polite, and kind. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to call them if we every need a towing service again

I have a 300 Chrysler. My car quit on me,I call Uncle Daves Towing to tow my car. The guy towed my car told me they fix cars also. A guy name Eddie told that my timing belt was broke and i need a new motor. He wanted to charge me $8,000. I had my car towed to man name Greg shop. He there isn't nothing wrong with my motor; it was just the timing belt. Greg got my car running in a day. I don't know he was doing me like that because I was a black woman.
The driver was very professional and friendly and he arrived exactly in the time frame that was quoted to me.

I called to get a Tow..The lady was asking me what's wrong with the car..I told her I don't know just need it towed to the Car Shop less then 5 miles away..She asked why do it need to go to the shop..I don't know thats why I need a Tow..never ask what kind of car or anything..The Boss got on the phone and was just as unhelpful...Maybe I sound to black..He didn't want to tow my car... got AAA instead
