They have a garbage AI operator. I waited three hours on a tow, got three different confirmation text messages with no driver contact. I finally gave up and called Bartlett tow. I got a real human in less than a minute with a tow confirmed to be coming in 45 minutes. Avoid this tow service, it’s better to wait an hour for any other company to be open.
Called for a tow at 6:09am. Their dispatcher is an AI named Jessica. We were told the ETA was 45 minutes. 2 hours later I called back. 9 times I asked for a human and she hung up after 7 minutes on hold. On the 10th call, I cancelled the towing because I called someone else and they got here in less than an hour.
I had a phenomenal tow truck driver by the name of Tony from Memphis towing. The MPD tow truck guy did a terrible job but Tony with Memphis towing picked it up and brought it to my house afterwards and he hooked it at the right locations for the European car that I had he is now my new tow truck guy and Memphis towing is my new tow truck company thanks guys

Tony showed up when we needed him! He responded quickly, kept us informed of the eta, and was right on time - even offering my fiancé a ride if he needed one. He went above and beyond after getting my fiancés truck home and checked under the hood for issues that may have caused his truck to stall out and stop turning on. The dispatch lady gave the driver the wrong address. They took my truck across town. Refused to discount my prices. I reported it to the dispatcher and she said I had to pay full price and hung up the phone in my face. Never again!!! Use someone else in your time of desperation.
I've used different towing companies, either there prices are to high or not on time. I'm never calling anyone else but Memphis Towing they were extremely professional, fast, and reasonable prices. Very unprofessional driver lied to me about time frame also told me he was on his way and would at my house in 10 minutes and 21/2 hours later I called him back and he was having trouble finding the location of where my daughter's car was. I will not be using this company ever again.

Antonio was great to deal with! He was very professional and courteous. Even though he had to pick my vehicle up from a tight angle, Antonio did fantastic job of getting it on & off his truck while doing the least amount of pulling without it being able to be put in neutral.

The guy that helped us out was fantastic! Constant communication and very professional. Living in Memphis you kind of expect when something is too good to be true it usually is. But y'all these people was great I would definitely use them again if I need a tow
They did an awesome job. From the receptionist to my driver. Very affordable and the driver kept calling me to update me on his whereabouts. He knew I was tired and it was late and assured me that I could go home and he was right behind me shortly. I saved the number immediately and I will definitely use this service again. I don't remember my driver's name but the trust that I had for that man and the patients that he had for me a pregnant mother. He has my upmost respect.
I needed to tow my vehicle to my hotel room, I requested the service specifying I have an all-wheel-drive vehicle, 2004 v8 4runner, it does not have a 2WD option, it's 4WD all the time, when the driver arrived I told him the same thing, he lifted the rear wheels, front wheels stayed on the ground, open the ignition switch and put it in neutral, the vehicle was towed +90 miles like that in 4Hi, at the parking lot I tried to move the vehicle, now the whole car shakes when the transmission engages in Drive or Reverse, but it won't move, mechanic diagnostic says transmission has been broken, that the vehicle had to be towed onto a platform, I call the Tow Mate company to recall for what happened, they said that they did not broke my vehicle and hang up, no more answers from them, all I needed is help to move the vehicle since they broke it down I haven't been able to move it anywhere, if you need their services, take pictures and videos on how they lift and tow your vehicle, when they lower it and unhook it, they will say anything to avoid being responsible for the damage made to your vehicle.
The fellow that towed my vehicle was friendly and did a fine job, would leave 4 or 5 stars for that.
Negative notes- they were an hour late when I made an appt plenty ahead of time. But the worst part was their unexplained up charge. Either say up front that it’s hourly, or state that the scope is different than previously understood. Don’t just charge more than quoted without explanation or agreement, a very negative business practice that I’d assume they often do to customers.
Finally, I now realize they have two different profiles online. Their other name (Tow Mate) has very negative online reviews. I wouldn’t have selected a place with 2 stars like it. Seems a bit rigged to me.
The tow company called to say they would arrive in 30 minutes. The tow arrived over an hour later. When I asked about payment I was told cash was easiest. When I paid in cash the driver said he did not have any change. However he did go out of his way to find change for me before leaving.
