Was involved in a car wreck and Campbell Towing was called to get my truck. I verbally released my truck to a collision center before I left Campbell's property like I was instructed to do so by my insurance. Campbell's Towing refuses to answer the phone when the collision center and my self calls. Some woman may answer and say, "this is a call center for the voice-mail (makes no sense) and hang up. It has been a week and the one time the collision center is able to get through, Campbell's tells them I have yet to release my truck to them. This is my first experience going through this process after a wreck and Campbell's is doing everything to make this as painful as possible. They are absolute trash, have 0 professionalism, and don't give a d*mn about the customer. Stay away from them at all cost, not worth the headache on top of everything else you'll already be dealing with.
My fiancée and I ran into some trouble with a blown tire in the middle of Tennessee. Being from out of town, we were amazed at how great Tony was at getting a driver out to us quick and sending us to a reputable tire shop to get it fixed under 2 hours! One of the most rudest and racist towing companies in Smyrna. Openly said he doesn’t deal with black people or hispanics while being in front of cops. My wife is in critical condition at the hospital and they would not let me get my car as its registered under her and SHE has to come pick it up, like SHE CAN MOVE FROM THE HOSPITAL BED.
This is the worst company to deal with, stay away from them. Unfortunately we didn’t call them the cops did due to an accident and he treated my whole family disrespectful. My wife was trying to remove our belongings from the vehicle prior for him taking the car and he wouldn’t let them. The cops had to ask him to allow for us to remove our belongings.
We even ask him to take our vehicle to a repair shop close by and he decline.
No empathy at all, extremely rude person. Stay away from them if you can.
This tow company was called to assist in a wreck in one of my family members. There’s only one man working at the company and he was SO rude to our insurance provider. Even hung up in her face. 100% do NOT recommend this service unless you have to.
Car was stolen and had to get a ride from East Nashville to Smyrna Tn. Arrived at 4:20pm and they were closed. After sitting in traffic to get there! They close at 5pm. Called the number and the owner answered and said he just left 10 minutes ago to go to lunch and he will be back in 45 minutes. He said you should’ve called first. I didn’t know I needed to call to tell them I was on my way. This is a business. I thought the business hours were accurate. Sat there for over and hour and someone finally came to let me get my car.
I would highly recommend Tony Campbell for any of your towing needs. He was very dependable and conscientious of my needs. Not to mention that he is very reasonable! He is a hidden gem within the Nashville area. Thank you Tony!
My first time ever calling Tony because I needed my car towed to a friends due to selling it. He was very kind the whole time and quick. I called him early in the morning, he said it will be a little later for him to get the car and I waited patiently. I would definitely recommend his service.
Down to earth people!!! Spoke with fella for almost an hour about the vehicles on the lot. My sister vehicle was totaled and they were very nice to let us go in and gather her items due to her having surgery from broken hand during the car crash
Where everyone was atleast 2 hrs out, these guys where there in 30 mintues after hanging up the phone! Skylar (excuse me if I misspelled that) was extremely helpful and made sure to already have a spot prepared in case a ride was needed as well. He made the loading and unloading process smooth and easy. They will be my #1 place for all towing purposes
Took them 8hrs to tow my vehicle from the original call, when my husband was told “I’ll be there later that afternoon.” Then when he WAS given a time (45min ETA), it was an hour and 20mins later that they showed up to get our vehicle. Then to charge $100 for an 8 mile tow? Find another company that will communicate better, charge you a fair rate (and tell you up front the cost), and show up when they say they will.
We needed a vehicle transported a fair distance. Tony Campbell Towing came to our aid by carefully taking the car to it's final destination. Well done!
Tony has towed my Jetta many times and also my Neon once. He is always courteous and very kind to me. He has the most reasonable prices in Smyrna TN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him.
My friend had a very serious car accident, so the car was totaled and brought here, And let me tell you these people are THIEFS just trying to do more to keep your car to rack up more money. Her bank cards and health insurance cards were left in the car cause I got there after they towed it. So after calling to get her belongings cause she was in critical condition and unable to retrieve them herself. The owner demanded her to get them and no one else. I would of really liked to tell him "gee buddy I would really like for her to come get them but SHES IN THE HOSPITAL!!!". Good to know these leeches are just sucking there way at your wallets then to care how your feeling making things harder even after someone is going through alot. WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO NO ONE, P.S. also thanks for stealing her bank cards
Great service. Polite and efficient. Also the only towing service that would answer my call. But it works out for them because I’ll use them or recommend them in the future.
Staff is uneducated, idiotic, immature, and I could go on with a list of reasons as to why this is a horrible business. They will try to charge you as much as they can even if it's more than you owe. Do not even call them, they are really fake. Rude on the phone then saying sorry in person. Horrible experience and I would never recommend them. STAY AWAY!!!
Tony helped out one of my church members when they were in a bind and has helped many others in our community. The Local Police Departments and Tennessee Highway patrol uses him so he must be pretty good.
Tony Campbell will tell you come on he will let you have your car after hours for a 35.00 gate fee. Then you drive 60 mile and call him back and he will refuse. then you can drive back the next day another 60 miles and pick up your car and pay another day of storage. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE
Called Tony Campbell Towing and got the best price of the other towing companies. Got there very fast and was really professional. I had alot of questions about my car and he helped answer them. I would definitively recommend Tony Campbell Towing to everyone.
