I brought my LSA‑swapped 6.0 to Legacy Motorsports for tuning on Feb 4th and, picked it up on the 23rd.(with an appt on the 4th)
The experience was extremely disappointing. While new swaps can present challenges, the lack of communication and genuine effort to resolve issues made the entire process frustrating and unproductive.
A simple problem— the fuel rail contacting a coil connector—was “repaired” for $250 by simply rotating the coil (and leaving the bolt out) . That is not quality work. I also acknowledge that I installed an LS3‑style MAF without repinning the harness, but Legacy Motorsports spent nearly a week struggling with this without providing any updates. Being busy is understandable; going silent on a customer is not.
When I was finally told the car was “done,” I was given explanations about a tip‑in issue and supposed belt slip. The belt was not slipping. The real issue was that the car was not properly tuned. Despite being charged just under $1,600, the vehicle could barely move under its own power when I picked it up.
Either way less than a week later the car is tuned by real professionals. I unfortunately had to pay twice so live and learn. I have literal receipts the car was untuned.
I cannot recommend Legacy Motorsports. Poor communication, questionable workmanship, and delivering a barely running vehicle after a substantial bill speak for themselves.
Judging by the packed parking lot, it appears customers are ultimately paying the price for the shop’s poor time management and scheduling practices.
The first of i'm sure several bad reviews for this business. Do not be fooled take your hot rod somewhere else!
Super, super impressed…….they Whippled my 2024 F150, long tube headers, and custom tune. Dyno’d at 656 rwhp and consistently doing mid to low 3’s 0-60 (on Dragy) haven’t gotten to do quarter mile yet. Had to wait about 3 months but it’s worth the wait for the results. Highly recommend

I have since done 2 quarter miles and hit 11.19 and 11.38…..
As a shop owner you might ask why I’m reviewing another shop? Because we are all in this together, to build, to create, and help others live their dream. Evan and Travis are two of the best guys around and one day they may be as fast as me, 🤷♂️ ohh and they can build one hell of a car. Trust the Best… Legacy
Travis and Evan are the only guys I trust with my cars. Whether it’s my drag car, my prized show car, or my junk yard LS Swap build, I don’t trust anyone else under the hood or to tune my cars other than these guys! They are great to work with, and you can tell they love what they do, and it shows in the quality of their work.

Evan and Travis along with all of the other guys at Legacy are absolutely amazing. They continue to build amazing high performance builds. The quality is second to none! I wouldn’t trust my 2023 F-150 to anyone else. I’m on my third version of my build because I know they will push as hard as I do! Legacy is the only place for your coyote or LS needs!
