We have been attending Camp Ocoee's Family camp for over twenty years and ours sons attended the summer camp program every year since the age of six. We plan to continue supporting the camp's mission because of our profound experience with all that Camp Ocoee offers. OCOEE THERE!

Amazing place for summer camp for children, youth or adults. Great place for wedding, birthday, conference or graduation events. It's a perfect spot for both mental & physical retreet. In Ocoee lake YMCA Camp u can do Water slide, swimming, boat riding, kayaking, water balloon, paint gun, rock climbing & more. I'm in love with z nature that surrounded z Lake; also with z clean accommodation i was provided. Will visit again ???

Our school did a retreat there! Great place! Staff is super with the kids, especially on the elements encouraging them to finish! Food is also excellent considering it's a camp! Kudos to the chef!

This camp is fantastic! There were about 80 in our group. Sleeping accomodations were adequate (love the amount of screens on cabin exterior). The activities were interesting, somewhat challenging and fun. The waterfront is awesome! There's a very long metal slide into the water, a large assortment of personal watercraft available, and several massive inflatables on the water. The food doesn't disappoint and vegetarian options were always available. Good staff and good attitude. It's an easy weekend with a group.

My daughter mostly had a great time and enjoyed the staff! I think she would have been a lot happier with kids her age. They put her in a group with 7 year olds instead of with her peers/ 11 year olds. They realized the mistake and still left her there even tho my husband called and asked why she was pictured with little kids ? so she missed out on the camp out and the full experience of hanging with friends and having chit chat with people her age. She actually came home feeling kind of down and said she wanted to come home a few days earlier ? she wants to try again next year tho ?

This place is an amazing place to send your kids and/or get married. We had our wedding here and Chelsea was our coordinator and legit our wedding would not have been the same without her. She is not a brat - she is stern yet kind and has been a counselor for years and also manages the property handily. There are specific instructions upon arrival that guests must read - sounds like someone didn’t. Do yourself a favor and ignore Julie Mazz’ review lol. Additionally, my wife and her family have been coming to this camp for years/decades. The cabins are super legit and the views are absolutely beautiful. The staff is also friendly and knowledge and will take very good care of your kids! I am not employed by the camp. I felt obligated to fight a blatantly inaccurate review by posting this review. Cheers!

If zero stars were an option… it would be ZERO! We rented 3 of the family cabins for 2 nights. I called early in the day to let them know that we would be seeing a movie and wouldn’t arrive until 7:00ish/early evening. Upon arrival, I followed the GPS and signs towards the office because the “family cabins” were not listed on the sign. The office was closed and so we drove to a building that had signs of activity. I was met with the SNARKY AND RUDE manager, Chelsea. She gave me directions (in a very irritable tone) to another entrance about a mile down the road. She was clearly annoyed that we did not see the 8x10 print out at dusk that they posted near the entrance with an arrow pointing towards the woods. Then, she proceeds to tell me that the maintenance man told her that the cabins were filled with a bunch of kids and no adults… my car was the first to arrive (I had a car following behind me) and we had yet to even reach the cabins. So, apparently they have invisible ghost children running around. Car #3 was flagged down by another snarky, annoyed employee because she was also lost. If you are wondering, there is zero cell service so calling one another was not an option. I finally arrived at the 3 cabins with my car and car #2. I inspected the cabins and found they were full of bugs!!! Millipedes everywhere- on the ceiling, stairs, beds…. EVERYWHERE. one cabin even had a bunch of ticks on the inside stairs to the loft. I advised the kids not to take the bags in the cabin so I could go back to the office and find the snarky, rude 25ish year old brat that was already so welcoming. As I pulled up, my other two cars were being scolded for missing the sign and scolding them because we have so many cars?? She says that she has seen way more that four cars… again, more imaginary guests?? She then starts fussing at me and telling me to turn around and go the other way. I try to explain to her that I am coming to the camp office to seek management. She says, well I am the manager. I tell her about the infestation and she (with clear annoyance) snaps that it just happens and sweep them off the ceiling and floor and out of the cabin…. Well, we got back in our vehicles and left the bug infested pit and sought out alternative lodging. A HUGE thank you to High Country Aventures for accommodating our group so late in the evening. We use them every year for white water rafting and they simply are the best people. As for that YMCA staff- you may want to read your company philosophy and perhaps practice what you preach. You were not kind at any point in our limited transaction. If Chelsea dislikes her job that much, she should consider a career change.

Our son has enjoyed this camp for 5 summers. Great place to disconnect from social pressures and be kids in a Christian environment with biblical studies.

My kids love camp Ocoee. This is one of the things they look forward to the most each year. My oldest has been attending since she was 8 or 9. I couldn't ask for anything better. The staff is wonderful and they take care of my kids as if they were their own. Can't wait for the baby to turn 7 so he can go too!

Great camp, my 11 year loved every minute. This is his 2nd year going, very nice counselor, friendly campers, great food, lots of fun activities. My son came home telling me about all the cool things he did, swimming in the lake, horse back riding, dodge ball, arts and crafts, the blob, archery, his favorite was the banana boat. I attended the YMCA camp,as a child now my own child is as well. Thank you for creating memories for life.

My daughter was a camper and then a camp instructor. Good Christian camp with a lot of activity options! Beautiful location and very reasonable prices. Wish they had an adult only session!
