I took my car to them to fix my transmission.The gentleman took my phone number, told me that he would find me a transmission. That was 2 weeks ago! Haven’t heard back from them!
I would not recommend A Plus to anybody. First of all I had my starter replaced there and it went out about three weeks later. I had it taken back to A Plus with the receipt hoping that Brad would stand by his work as an honest man. He did not and claimed there was an unrelated issue and asked for another 100. I was never given an estimate or asked if I wanted them to go ahead with the jo. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and this is not the first issue they have had with Brad. Go somewhere that has real mechanics who honor their word and work.
They put a new transmission in my car a month or so ago and it’s been running great. It was affordable, they had great communication, and they took care of another issue for me without charging me extra. Highly recommend!

He told me he would fix my car and left it the same and had to pay for that then and wanted more money to fix what was supposed to be the problem in the he doesn't know what he is doing and ended up insulting me when I tried to confront him of his bad labor

Told me my truck needed a repair that would cost me 1400 and had to give half up front
Them after they finished job they told me that wasn’t the problem wasn’t fixed and where charging m 3600 to replace transmission
And if I didn’t want the transmission changed I had to give the other half of what was owed for dirt kid they did if not I wouldn’t get my truck back and he said he would sale my truck I I didn’t pay the 700 that was owed
So ended up paying 1400 for nothing my truck still needs repair

Is a wonderful mechanic. My car had to have 3rd transmission in but Brad always made it right for me. An 3rd one is a charm. Also he's looking at my car as we speak an I know he will get me back on the road again .please go here for all your needs ..best in town an reasonable prices as well. My truck has been having problems after problems and A Plus auto and Diesel have been the only place that has had the knowledge to fix the issues, these men are the best at what they do and I wouldn’t take my vehicles anywhere else, no matter what the issue is, they put the work in!
The owner is a monster of a man. He did not tell me the price before DOING THE WORK ON A 4.50 brake light replacement and then got mad when I told him I couldn’t afford the SIXTY FOUR DOLLAR BILL where he tried to charge me 52.50 for labor. He worked on my car for 5 min. This man sees me with FIVE KIDS, said NOTHING ABOUT PRICE AND THEN TRIED TO SHAME ME FOR NOT HAVING THE MONEY. Sir, who does work on a car without mentioning the price?? That’s wild!

I drove my truck 3 miles home and looked underneath and oil was leaking from all sides of my oil pan. A+ had my truck for 2 months and their mechanics could not see a leak???? The owner says he is sorry they were unable to fix my truck the way i wanted??? What does that even mean? More reason to not take your vehicle here! When I turned my truck in for an oil leak. I knew it was 2 gaskets. It took 3wks and 1200$ for one gasket. They didn't see the second one leaking?? I returned it on his word they would get to it. They parked my truck across the parking lot in the back corner and it sat for weeks. 5 weeks later after I called them I was told it had been done and was ready. And no charge for he was sorry for certain reasons? (they had issues at the shop, understandable)? I drove it home to find out the gasket was never even fixed!!! 8 weeks!!!!. I wrote a good review previously and have paid them thousands in cash for work done. But as of now I would never recommend this shop to anyone. And I hate to do that because I really liked them at first. It really is hard to find a trustworthy and dependable mechanic.
I had a Toyota Camry with a blown transmission. Brad was very helpful explaining all of my options and giving advice. He was very upfront and honest with everything the best I could tell. I would definitely give these guys a shot if you need work done on your car. Staff was friendly as well.

With a police escort we were able to retrieve the car. The owner, Brad, quite disrespectfully refused the officer's request for a receipt and copy of the warranty. Upon opening the hatch we found oil poured all inside of the hatch, it was not like that previously.
Please check the complaints that are public record through the Better Business Bureau as this is not the first time this business has done a consumer wrong on a transmission and refusing to document payments and warranties.
My son paid $2400 for a 31,000 mile transmission with a six months warranty. Now he has an 81,000 mile transmission and no warranty. That is dirty business.

The owner Brad, in conversations with both me and my son never offered anything in return for the higher mileage transmission. He was belligerent in all calls. After I changed my review he called me back screaming at me and told me that the warranty company was gonna extend the warranty for the mileage difference but because we wanted to tell people what happened publicly he wasn't warranting anything. He wanted me to make sure I told that part. After I told him to quit bullying me and he continued to scream and talk over me I called him a choice word and told him do not bully me.
I reviewed too soon unfortunately. The transmission my son paid for was a 31,000 mile transmission. He paid over $2000. While under warranty the transmission began to have issues and had to be replaced. It was replaced with an 81,000 mile transmission. When asked about a partial refund for the 50,000 mile difference the owner refused. That is not what my son paid for with his hard earned money. It is unacceptable not to deliver what someone paid for or make up the difference.
Was referred to this place by a couple friends for issues with my truck. They got me in and out quickly and were super nice! Will definitely be going back for any other issues. Their prices are fair as well.
These guys are great. My truck was giving me issues on a road trip and I was stranded with my two kids and couldn’t find a mechanic who could get me in until I called these guys. They got me in first thing in the morning, had the problem fixed in two hours and got us back on the road at an affordable price. True servicemen!
This place is absolutely the best! I broke down on the highway while hauling my big horse trailer from WA to FL. I got my F350 towed to them, and they started working on it right away. They discovered multiple issues, and couldn't get all the parts they needed that day. They finished it by the next evening. They stand by their work! The owner is amazing, and even came out to help me again with a related issue on the road that night, and made sure I was safely on my way! I've had no more problems since then (two weeks now). You absolutely want to use this place! They go above and beyond, and do whatever it takes to make sure the job is done right! A+++!
This service is the best! We broke down at the rest area in Clarksville, Tennessee and A Plus told us we could tow right to them. They started immediately on our diesel bus. They worked several hours and got us back on the road. They let us plug in and keep cool in our bus while they did the repair. Very reasonable price and knowledgeable technicians.
Courteous Shop. They figured out the problem with my transmission and had her feeling almost as good as when she first came off the lot. They saved me from getting thousands of dollars worth of work (A new Trans!)
You won't be disappointed.
The owner even squeezed me in. Mind you, when that happens, be prepared to not only leave your vehicle. But your wait time will be longer. Be grateful that they even take you in. This is a busy shop like many others.
My daughter told me about Brad( the owner) that he was reasonable with his prices. And has always taken care of her when she took her vehicle to him. We found out the hard way that our automatic transmission was not so "Automatic," and we took it over to Brad (The owner) and he had his guys take a look at it, knew exactly what to do, and got me back on the road. I just wanted to express my gratitude. I don't trust too many shops but they definitely have my business! Thank you so very much to all the crew for their hard work!
2009 Chrysler Town & Country was having this super scary rumble at 45MPH and up. I'm from Michigan and needed this fixed to get home, started as soon as I was attempting to make my trip back. Was able to get my car in the shop next day and had it repaired the following evening! Super fast reliable work and it was actually done same day but had the issue still reoccurring a little bit so I called again and they re-diagnosed it and finished the fix free of any extra charge. Super nice, genuine people. Would recommend if you're looking for a reliable, fast, well priced fix. Really appreciate the work they did and more so the time they were able to complete it in. All other shops told me it would be more than two weeks to even look at and the first one I went to (not here) gave me a misdiagnoses!!! Prices good here and workers know what they're doing. Look no further.

All I can say..is excellent service all around. I have a newer Lincoln MKZ...I was able to take it in and get my car looked at without any hassle. On top of that Brad made me feel as if I were his most important customer and he makes it a point to know your name...NOT just the make and model of your car. My car needed a fuel pump...nothing more ..nothing less...I reproved a new one and my car has being running great ever since I picked it up. A plus auto and diesel had my car along w 2k in cash from sept 1st to oct 2nd and another 1400 on the 2nd. A used motor was installed and my engine is making ticking and grinding noises (the same noises it made before the motor went out originally) and the check engine light came on not even 24 hours after getting the vehichle! And the radio screen won't even turn on anymore. A plus also will not give me ANY paper work on the motor that I purchased to show mileage (he said ehhh theres about 60k on it) when we originally discussed everything with him we told him we would want the paper work with information on the engine. He said no problem. Now he will not give them to us, we have to take him to court to get the information! He originally told us itd be a week and a half. Well that easily turned into a month after he told us old engine was out of truck etc for weeks while our truck lay up on the hill in his parking lot! We went tuesday sept 29 right before he closed and he told us if it's not ready by friday at end of business day we would not need to pay him the rest of the 1400! He rushed and didn't do the job right because he was more concerned about the money! They couldnt even put my wipers on right!! If you value your money and your vehichle do NOT come here! Update: we took our car elsewhere to find out why its still ticking. Brad left our exhaust with 4 bolts missing. We messaged him about it and still no response! To get it repaired is going to cost us another $780
The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I was unsure about how much work I was willing to have done and the owner was very helpful and understanding. In the end I was charged even less than had been estimated, which was already a very fair price.
Especially after having a poor experience with another local shop before going to A Plus, the honesty, speed of the work, and great pricing made for a wonderful experience and I would recommend this shop to anybody in the area.
This repair shop is great. The best place that I've ever gone to and had my vehicle repaired. The staff there is honest, up front, and very personable. I don't think you can go anywhere and find better service in Tennessee or Kentucky. No matter what the issue is there always determined to get it fixed for me, and they never charge me an arm and a leg to do it. It's more of a loss to take your car anywhere else. Your car light gold and you like a friend, without fail every time.
