Worst towing company ever, very overpriced & towed my car without even putting it in neutral which caused more damage to my car please don’t walk run away from this company!!!
Very frustrated with my experience here. A fleet vehicle broke down. Dad's towing was very responsive after hours, I gave them the location I wanted the vehicle dropped, they said not a problem and that the driver would send me a link to pay. The driver got to the specified location at 9:00 p.m. at night and tried to send me a link to pay. I informed him that it did not come through. He tried again and no success. He then asked me to send me a picture of my credit card and my ID so he can verify it's me. I told him I am not comfortable doing that and asked if there is somebody else I can speak to. I called the office and spoke to another young man who was not very nice and told me I was trying to pay the way that only I wanted to pay. I told him no I was trying to pay the way that you told me I am supposed to pay. He followed that up by saying if payment is not received we are taking your vehicle back to our lot. I had to drive to the drop location after 9:00 p.m. at night to meet the driver and pay in person. Very poor communication all around.
No joke this company actually feels like your dad is coming to help you. I was visiting g out of town and got a flat tire late at night on a Saturday. The customer service was phenomenal over the phone. And when Nate showed up he completely made us feel like everything would be ok and we could get back home. Due to a tripped bolt Andrew had to come and help and he finished the job.
I would call this company over and over! Eyes closed. 100%
“One hour away” and hung up, when i explained my current location, in all reality you guys don’t have a tow truck for an hour from an emergency caller. You guys just don’t have enough money for another tow truck, Your company is below average. Don’t call here, find professionals, and hard workers who make things happen, no matter the time and is about the money.
Worst business practices ever! Our son was in a wreck on the interstate. His vehicle was towed to this place. Four days later we got a nasty letter in the mail via FedEx stating that we owed $500+ for towing, with an additional $40/ day charge for storage. Our vehicle had full coverage, and we are awaiting a decision from the insurance company before we can proceed. This is extortion. I will never recommend this business to anyone.
They are contracted with my apartment complex for towing out of reserved spots. I did what they requested and I called to make sure I did it right. The belligerent womans answered yelling HELLLLOOOO , i politely said I was checking to male sure I sent everything you needed. She said “Sorry aint nothing I can do for you! Thanks for letting us know, but sorry someone parked in your spot And HUNG UP IN MY FACE! After a long day pf work arriving home near 10 o'clock with nowhere to park and I pay for my spot. I was truly upset and will never call them for a THING! I hope my leasing properties drop them immediately
I was involved in an accident in Nashville a few days ago causing my car do not be drivable afterwards. After communicating with highway patrol about where I'm needing my car towed to (back to clarksville where I live) after being stuck on the side of the road for over 2 hours in 20 degree weather I'm told by the driver he's only going to take my car home if I pay him over 500 dollars. I couldnt afford to paybthat since having tonpay for a new transmission. The driver also daid the furthest he is able tongive me a ride is a gas station in the ghetto at 9pm. After calling about getting my car back I've been informed of storage fees accumulated over 400 dollars when I was never mailed anything stating I would be charged for storages. This is predatory practices and failure to follow a police issue designation and will be in contact with civil lawyers. I would never trust these with how they've treated me.
We had to get the things out of the totalled car TODAY. They said yesterday that we would just need to give them an hour notice. They said today that we had to be there by 5. Today, we got there 20 minutes before. They won't answer the phone. They won't answer the door. We are beyond upset.
I am very unsatisfied with my experience with Dad’s Towing. Unfortunately, my apartment complex requires us to use this company, otherwise I would not choose them based on this encounter.
My roommate notified me around 10:30 PM that someone was parked in my reserved spot. I called Dad’s Towing and was instructed to text a number with the required information. I never received any confirmation that my message was received.
When I got home from work at 12:30 AM, the car was still in my spot. I called again to make sure everything was correct on my end and was told they were behind, there were two cars ahead of me, and that I would receive a call when they were en route.
By 2:00 AM, I still had no call, so I went to bed. The next morning at 8:00 AM, the car was still there. I checked my phone—still no missed calls. A supervisor eventually called to apologize for the delay and assured me someone would arrive within 15 minutes.
45 minutes later, a tow truck finally arrived. The drivers, Mr. Juan and Mr. Adrian, were actually there for an entirely different issue and had no knowledge of my situation at all. Despite this, they were kind, professional, and willing to help, and they ultimately removed the vehicle.
While the drivers themselves were great, the lack of communication, inaccurate updates, and overall disorganization from Dad’s Towing was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I am very dissatisfied with their service and would not recommend them based on this experience.
Most disgusting drivers. They operate as of theyre police officers. If you try to make a complaint the office will ignore you and put you on hold indefinitely. Their prices are exorbitant
My car broke down last night and I had an absolutely comically bad night, though it was supposed to be a lovely event - me enjoying myself for the first time in years. Fast forward to tonight, looking for solutions after a day of general malaise. ---------------------------- When I saw a place called "Dad's Towing" I thought, oh that's nice. Maybe they can help me with my vehicle. The first girl I spoke with seemed nice, she listened as I delivered an even tempered/friendly but concise summary of my situation. Then, I get blind transferred to another woman who gives me attitude from the moment she answered the phone. I mention I had just spoken with another woman and asked if this is the same girl? No, it wasn't. I say "oh, alright" and briefly go over my situation again, mentioning the name of the store (car was in this parking lot) and the place it was going, the local Firestone in the same town (Goodlettesville, TN). She begins trying to input my information, rude as she can be, "What is the address where we will be picking up the vehicle?" I let her know I was looking for a quote on the tow before I put in all of my information and got things started. In the most condescendingly aggressive tone imaginable she stated she can't GIVE me a quote unless I GIVE HER both addresses - followed by a noise like I'm being unreasonable and stupid. I said thanks, I'm all set, don't worry about it and hung up. ------------------------------------------------ Customer service matters. Why would I book a tow with a company that is going to treat me like I'm some imposing idiot. I'll find someone else, even if it's more expensive. Smh. Not great.
Placed a sticker on my grandfather's car when he was visiting. He was parked in front of my house in a neighborhood with no "no parking" signs. The HOA rule he is allowed to be on the street for 24 hours. He arrived at my house at 8pm in the evening and the sticker was there the next day by 4pm. I don't know how this is legal. This should be considered vandalism.
Nate was absolutely a life saver. Our tire blew and we had our entire family- 4 kids and my husband and I. We couldn't get any help to get us all to the nearest Walmart to get a new tire. He called his supervisor, and he came out and took us in his own personal vehicle so we werent leaving one of us and the kids on the side of the road while the other went and got the tire fixed. 100% recommend them.
VERY rude!! This isn’t Dads anymore, but a corporate co full of rude people. They had all details of the job and raised the price by $1,000 after waiting 2 hours for them. Rude dispatcher. No thanks!!
My tractor trailer broke down in Dickson and Kevin (KB) was assigned to tow my truck back to Nashville. Cant explain enough how cool and knowledgeable the guy was treating me with the utmost respect and we talked the whole way laughing talking about our families. It was just a good experience from a bad experience I was having a bad day and I appreciate him for that. Called in spoke with a nice young lady named Paige and she was very helpful as well for helping me to get this message over to his management. A nice group of people here.
Rude! They had us wait for over an hour and a half. After we called and asked for an update, the representative cancelled. She yelled and hung up the phone. She said, “We are too busy. I will do you a favor and cancel.”

So we waited over an hour and a half just to not be serviced. Not to mention, this happened after 2 AM, so we waited over a hour and a half just to be left finding a new tow service. I will never use this towing service.
Tim is a rockstar and helped me out tremendously, he was polite, friendly, thorough, and went above and beyond. He Took a bad situation and turned it around. He will be my first call for any towing needs in the future.
I had a very negative experience with Dad’s Towing Service. Their staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I reported that someone parked in my assigned parking spot and asked them to tow the car. They promised to come but never showed up, leaving me stuck without my parking. This shows a complete lack of professionalism and responsibility. If a towing company cannot handle a simple request, then they cannot be trusted for more serious situations. Very disappointed and will never use their service again.
I had a car towed. I called at 11:00 and the driver srrived at 11:23. Thats the fastest response I've ever seen. The driver was quick but thorough. When he reached my grandma's neighborhood he called her and let her know that he was going to be pulling in. He was very polite and professional.
Their front desk service lady was extremely informative and honestly very helpful. She was very nice and did all she could with regards to helping me out with my vehicle and answering any questions that I had. But that’s it. She was the only thing helpful about the whole situation. When I went to go get my vehicle off their yard, they stole out of my vehicle; my 1/2” Milwaukee M12 electric ratcheting torque wrench , my M18 Milwaukee 3/8 impact gun, Along with my 12 amp m18 battery, and four 5 amp m18 batteries! The best part was, when I got there, they tried to say that they never went inside the vehicle…. Yeah right. I left it unlocked because the battery had died, but yet once I get there, it’s locked. I look inside. The parking brake is on and I could tell that my whole car had been ransacked by them. They never go inside the vehicle, is the farthest thing from truth. But yet before my vehicle was towed, I had just done an oil change and my drain pain was underneath the vehicle. Somehow, when I went to go pick up the vehicle from the tow lot, the drain pan and old filter magically ended up inside. But yet they don’t go inside your vehicles, right? BS!!!. Do not trust them, it’s pathetic. It’s bad enough if you have your vehicle towed, or something unfortunate happens to where you park in the wrong place or something of that matter. But to top it off, they steal your valuables and the tools that you use to earn your living and make money for you and your family? Man that’s weak and what kind of company is over there. . If you can avoid them, do it. But if you have to use them, make sure you have nothing that is worth any money or value because it will get taken.
I call Dads when I broke an axle on the interstate. They came quickly and picked up my trailer and stored it till I could come back and get it. The price was very reasonable and they did everything they said they were going to do. The Driver and dispatch were unbelievably nice. Thanks for all the help.
It’s never any fun when you’re traveling and your vehicle breaks down. Eddie made a world of difference and we so appreciate his attitude and helpfulness. We had been in town one day, dropped our RV at the park, and our truck broke down the next evening. Yes the tow was expensive but we didn’t have many options. Not only did Eddie offer to take us to another repair shop when the dealer said it would be a week before they would look at it, but he also drove us back to our RV after dropping off the truck. Instead of having a bad experience and issues upon issues, he made the experience so much easier!!!
Mr.Buddy was awesome! My work van broke down right in front of his house and he had 2 calls to run already and caught me while he was walking out to head to those calls. He brought my van all the way to Nashville without question on his flat bed. This guy needs a raise! He could easily have told me he was already booked and it would have been totally understandable. Instead he went out of his way to help me out! Made my day seem a little less stressful. Please recognize Mr.Buddy in some way at your company Thanks again sir.
Edit. Used you guys again tonight and Mr. Donald came out and got my van unstuck where I turned too sharp into a customers driveway and my back wheel dropped into the ditch pinning the van onto the concrete. I was under the impression that the shock had broken. Mr. Donald immediately let me know he thought the van was okay and drivable. He could have not said a word and towed the van and made more from the tow. Instead he picked the back tire up carefully with the flatbed and set it perfectly back in the driveway. He charged me a 1/4 of the price he would have to tow it. Thank you so much sir, you didn't have to tell me anything about my van being okay but you did, which saved us lots of money. I hope they pay you what your worth. In my opinion your worth a million bucks and a steak dinner. Thanks again Mr.Donald God bless you sir.
We were traveling through (Illinois to Florida) when all of a sudden, our truck decided to not have any forward gears anymore. We were just outside of Nashville on I24, right before the I24/I65/I40 split. Unfortunately, we had some life lessons on getting a tow. Oh, we also had our 5th wheel camper in tow.
We called around to a few Ram dealers to see if any of them were open (it was December 30th, so the holiday weekend) and if they had any suggestions as this was the first time we needed a tow. We finally got through to one of them and they suggested to contact Ram to get a tow since we bought our truck new in June. It took us 4ish hours of messing around trying to get a tow before we decided to call a towing company and get our own tow. Ram wouldn't cover our camper getting towed (just the truck), which is whatever, just wish they would have told us right away so we could have gotten off the interstate sooner.
We told Dad's what was going on and that we also had a 5th wheel camper. They said they could handle all of it at once and they would be to us within an hour or so.
We sat on the side of the interstate for about 5 hours at a very busy area. Thankful we weren't hit. Dad's towed our camper to a near by campground and the our truck to the near by dealership. Both guys were so nice and awesome!!
**No human beings rode in the truck while it was being towed. I took a picture right as they got there and then I got out right before they loaded the truck.
HUGE shoutout to Bobby for going above and beyond. He was very kind to a large group of us from Indiana (14 of us with multiple cars). He helped make what could have been a very costly mistake into a wonderful act of kindness and showed us there are still decent people willing to help others. We are forever grateful that our experience with your company was a positive one. Thank you and I would recommend you to anyone!!!!
Nothing but praise for these guys! We have a commercial account and they have been dependable and awesome since day one! Sure it may be an hour before they get there but that’s because Nashville drivers are getting more aggressive/ careless as the population grows and often there are multiple accidents that there dealing with… as do all tow companies. Remember that most of the negative reviews are from people mad about being towed from parking illegally or not paying the parking lot fees. I appreciate their service and recommend them to anyone. PS… they tow Teslas, which is a rarity as some tow companies won’t touch electric cars! Thanks Dad’s towing, us at Nashville Electric Transportation appreciate you!
My Car Was Towed To The Dads Towing Lot Due To A Blow Out & Everything Went Smooth Until The Car Was Supposed To Be Pulled Out By A Wrecker. Come To Find Out They Are Pulling My Car Around Via Forklift, When The Car Was Dropped Down I Noticed Damage That Wasnt There Moments Before It Came Out Of The Gate.
(1) My Front Bumper Was Ripped Almost Completely Off (2) My Undercarriage Was Ripped Almost All The Way Off And Is Now Dragging When Driven (3) A Few Dash Lights Are On That Were Not On Before The Car Was Dropped Down (4) Check Engine Light, Brake Light On & Speed Sensor Damaged
Dads Towing Staff Let Me Know That They Were Generous Enough To Not Charge Me The 35$ Drop Fee And I Had Wondered Why Before Inspecting My Car After It Left Their Yard

My bb is in home now. I'm very grateful to Jehovah and to Dad's Towing Service, efficient work excellent kind attitude and above all they protected my property from thieves who wanted to pose as owners of my car. I recommend them 100% loyal according to the law. The lady at the reception and the tow truck driver thank you both for your kindness, patience and understanding knowing that I speak little English.
