I was searching for a place to have my car’s brakes fixed and I couldn’t believe the amount of shops that had dozens of vehicles parked around them. Past experience told me not to do business with them. I found Macon and was thoroughly impressed with their work and the price. I was in and out the same day. I highly suggest you give them a call. You won’t be disappointed.
Steve took very good care of the vehicle, making sure to take a little extra time to do it right and order in OEM parts. Car is back to normal and I’m loving it. Service and workmanship is excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again or recommend them to anyone.
This place was awesome! My only car was leaking coolant, not only were they fair and honest, but got the vehicle in the same day and provided us a ride to and from shop! Will definitely be using them for all future services and highly recommended!
Was quoted $200 for an oil change which would have taken an hour and a half or 2 hours.
I took my car down the road and they charged me $75 and it took them 30 minutes.

I was in and out an no time! The staff was excellent at finding me an appointment time that worked with my schedule. They were about to work around my leaking rear axle seal. Hopefully I'll find a new seal replacement soon.

We came in 15 min before they closed for a flat we got looking at a new construction site. Not only were all of the gentlemen friendly but they took it right back, stayed open late for us, fixed it and we were on our way! Will definitely be coming to these folks again!

It’s nice that they also work on John Deere Tractors! Very good communication regarding my repair. The part I needed no longer is available. So they were able to think outside of the box to come up with a solution. Now I’m able to get back to work with my tractor and I’m very pleased with their service. I would recommend them.

So kind! I had gotten my tires replaced and alignment done about a month ago and I started having a leak in one of my tires. I brought my car in and they found the problem right away. They found out that it was a faulty valve stem. And they replaced all of my valve stems just to be safe. So professional and I can’t recommend them enough!
This place is one of the few repair shops left that are still artisans of the craft. Had a wheel bearing go down in one of the dump trucks. Could not get the race punched out on the side of the road where I was. Macon Auto Repair got it out within 15 minutes saving me an entire day. Also had many questions about specific bearing….no worries they have the answers. If you are having any vehicle problems this is the shop to go to!
I had a great experience with this car repair business. They were so polite and caring. They allowed me to drop the car off at night so they could start in the morning. They got to my vehicle right away. I was actually scared to drive it. It spuddered when putting gas in it and it bumped real hard in the tires when you went to stop. (Pretty scary) I got a phone call same day and everything was explained to me with no pressure. They told me which issues were important and which ones could wait if I needed them to and I decided right away to fix everything and I got my car back in just 1 day. They fixed 4 sensors and brakes and rotors. It’s always a costly event when your car is having issues but this company with their honesty and quickness makes it a lot easier to swallow. I recommend this company 100%.
Listen, I’ve dealt with a lot of mechanics. I have rarely dealt with a mechanic that’s as honest, & willing to stand by their work as Macon Auto Repair. Friendly & knowledgeable staff. They were able to diagnose a dead end code that no-one else could. If you want to go to a mechanic you can trust, this is the place.

I am very happy with Macon Auto Repair. The service is prompt, reasonably and fairly priced, and the staff is good to deal with. I have been a client for several years. I am also pleased with the comfortable and pleasant waiting room, and the rides home and back when lengthy repairs are necessary.
This past week was a good example of the excellent service. I had an electrical problem that kept draining my new battery overnight. I anticipated the lengthy and complicated diagnosis and repair that would be necessary when a.Modern vehicle has electrical problems. It was taken in immediately and I was given a ride home. Adam, the owner, picked me up when it was completed. He informed me that mechanic/technician Gary, had figured it out. I was shown the one fourth inch thick stack of diagrams of the electrical systems that only a genius could understand. Gary did.
The cost was fair and reasonable The vehicle is starting and running perfectly.
Excellent job. My wife says her car drives more smoothly than it has in years. Transmission service made shifting easy and precise. The alignment made the car drive like it is on rails. And the service writers are really nice guys. The service ticket from the prior oil change included resolving some deferred service items. Great service and customer focus. Highly recommend this shop.
