I don't know much about them. But I've called several times on several days and no answer. Went buy and gates closed several times. It's been 2 months of trying.
Scott and his daughter are great people, always have been nice and paid me good for scrap metals weather it be whole vehicles or just aluminum cans or tin.
Fast, easy and efficient!! It was my first time going to Carter's Valley Auto but as soon as I stepped out of my vehicle I felt as if I'd been going there for years. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming which immediately put me at ease. I will most definitely be going back and recommending family and friends!
Called made sure they had the part,they asked what color, I told them ,went down picked it up payed for it ,good quality, matching paint. Friendly service reasonable price, very happy. Will do business again.
You may or may not find the car you need parts for and they won’t let you pull your own parts, at least in my experience. I needed some intake studs for my Ford and was told that “the motor is in good shape and didn’t want it taken apart” i guess they wanted to sell it as a whole? Besides that they will gouge you on price as well, I came in for a window motor and they wanted 50 bucks for it while Rockauto sells brand new ones for that price and are warrantied. I get that it’s a convenient location but I would rather drive to Knoxville instead of coming back here.
I went to carter's valley junk yard and they were great they had the part that I was looking for i would recommend anyone to go there they were awesome and extremely nice five stars isn't enough for them i will give them ten stars
Was fairly rude, had no idea if they had the part i needed after walking around and finding a car with what i needed myself I asked for a price at the counter and she just wandered off with another employee had to find someone else to help me. Was quoted a price for a headlight switch out of a 2000 car that was nearly as expensive as a new part from AutoZone, just left and will not be back

I went there for arm wipers wipers and the motor which they gave me the parts but they didn't have the arms and the wipers with the motor so I had to wait a little longer for them parts and after I got them I only got to use them like three times and they stripped out so bad because they were so stripped I couldn't even use them I even called and everything last my name and number and all didn't hear nothing back called back and everything and I guess it didn't matter that I lost out on that money on arms and the wipers but I don't know if I'll go back there or not because of that issue and they had a girl which I think was the daughter take the parts off the car when the man should have done it and it probably would have turned out a lot better
Very helpful always.... very helpful...I don't buy used parts newhere else and I drive from Johnson City to get my parts! If they don't have it they will find it for you!! You will absolutely be taken care of!!!
First I want to say if they don't have the part they will do everything in their power to find the part for you BJ was absolutely the friendliest today I would recommend this place to anyone and it's not too far down West Carters Valley Road convenient location
Biggest crooks around I advise no-one to order parts from them because guarantee you won't get what you pay for. Order a control arm new they cut the packaging open and took out our bolts and we ended up having to buy bolts when we took to have it put on. They told us there should have been bolts with it and they put it in a totally different box. I have been told by so many people that the boneyard is crooked as crooked gets. We still gave them the benefit of the doubt and we learn our lesson... NEVER AGAIN WILL WE GO THERE!!!! Our advice to anyone needing parts stay away from the boneyard If you don't want to get ripped off!
Me and my wife came across carters valley used auto parts from google serch when my transfer case went to pieces on hwy 81 the staff was very friendly and helpful couldnt have asked for a better used parts yard to have done business with i would do more in the future if i lived closer thank you Mr. B.J. and staff

Called at 9am to get a part they said they had it and when i called to tell them i was on my way there they said sorry will be monday before they would have the part pulled. Poor customer service.
I am so happy that I stopped here, they had the parts i needed and they took them off for me.... Price was fair and reasonable. I would be glad to do business with them again.
Scott was real nice guy. Didnt give much for car my grandaughter brought in but took it off our hands it was nothing but trouble she needed rid of it. Thanks Scott.
Its an ok Junkyard. No set prices. You pay depending what the owners mood is that day. If you call for a specific part and they tell you they'll call you back......Don't Hold Your Breath. And if THEY sell you the Wrong Part. Good Luck getting your money back. Its about as cheap to go to your local parts store for your part. At least there is a return policy and warranty there. Keep Dreamin if you wana return anything to this establishment. Only Go Here If There Is NO WHERE ELSE TO GO (Then I would suggest walking instead if going here)
