This place is honest as the day is long. I've taken several vehicles here for years. For context, I live thirty five minutes across town in the valley but make the drive up the mountain to have my vehicles worked on here because of how honest, and hard working the folks at lookout mountain service center are. Their prices are very reasonable, especially when you consider how much other auto centers over charge and trust me, I've tried just about every single one of them. They diagnose problems quickly and fix the issues quickly. The only problem this place has, is that they are usually booked up weeks in advance, which honestly is a testament to the quality of work you'll get here and how many repeat customers they have. My young college age Daughter took her car in with a problem and the Lady helping her was extremely kind and Gracious to her. Even gave her a discount because she was a college student. That’s Hospitality. Thank you
We have always had a great experience at Lookout Mtn Service Station. They’re honest and fairly priced. They provide a quick turnaround and we know we can trust them. We have gone in before requesting something be done and after inspecting it, they have told us that it wasn’t necessary but that it’s ultimately our call. That kind of service is why we come back! We feel valued and prioritized as customers. I can’t say that about many businesses in that industry. Great service! Highly recommend!
asked them to do one thing on my car, they didn't do it. replaced something else instead, overcharged me, and did not even start to repair my car until 6pm even though I had made an appointment for 2pm. I was waiting across the street when they said they would be done and they hadn't even started. not an honest company and i will not take my car back.
Dropped my car off yesterday after hours after breaking down at Ruby Falls. Suspected it was an issue with the starter. They called me this afternoon with a great price and my car will be ready for me tomorrow! Awesome pricing, friendly, and fast service. It's scary to have car issues when you're visiting from out of town, but it all went smoothly. I definitely recommend this shop.
Our son is in College at Covenant. He called and reported his brakes were really bad. Being atop a mountain with bad brakes is not a good combo. Had no idea who to call. Googled and found this shop. Called and the rest is history. Super nice & professional! On time. Communicated great! Only did what they needed to (no upselling). Great value & work. My son reported back that the mechanics were super nice and talked with him about his truck. SO comforting knowing we have a garage we can trust to take care of his vehicle up on Lookout Mountain. Oh, just saying, they offer Covenant College student discounts too...how cool & kind is that?!
Amanda and Shane are some of the nicest people, they are very genuine in how they work with customers and Shane's knowledge of vehicles runs deep. Also, if you have a Toyota 4Runner that needs service or are looking for a classic, he's your man!
Some of the nicest people I've met in a long time, really great service station. I haven't seen a place that pumps the gas for you in like 20 years! Highly recommend!
